ok i'll try to keep this short. Many plus like he has ALOT of comics and he will help you , he also has many other things like records, toys , games etc. ok minus, it is a little dusty and dirty, no AC and some cat smell , it is worth a visit .
Nice Spawn #8 and Man-Thing #1. I remember when the Pressable Defects and Very Gary went over there 2 years ago my goodness lol. And to think for me to complaint about Fordahm Comics that warehouse is ridiculous but at least is a bit sort of organized but still you'll have be digging through boxes forever especially when there aren't many books priced to compare it on ebay to get a deal is a gamble. Nice review.
@@RockPaperXcissors i just found out, this warehouse has an eBay store, i can buy comics without having to go to Brooklyn. Many thanks for telling me about this. I never heard of Joseph Koch before.
Kool man. I really gotta get out there! I'll probably need a mask though! Did you mention that an appointment is needed? Is it with an email or is there a phone # to call? Great video store review! I remember seeing this place advertised in the old comic book add pages!😅
I went last week, it was crazy (1/24) Found a couple great books. He used key collector for pricing when I was there. He has a long box of Spawn # 8s crazy.
@@RockPaperXcissors That warehouse had the single best collection of Warren back issues many moons ago. Only other place that could rival Joe was Gary Dolgoff (back when he was still in Brooklyn). Many of my Warren mag collection was purchased at both places...😁
His way of pricing reminds me of a store I went to once. NOTHING had a price on it and when you brought the books up he looked up each book in an Overstreet price guide. LOL I brought up some Gold Key Star Trek's and when he saw they were going for over $20 a piece his eyes went wide and he immediately bagged and boarded the books. Not a great way to price. You did get a good deal, though!
@@RockPaperXcissors True! There are WAY too many books in there and I'm sure he doesn't pay attention to trends at all. Still, Man-Thing #1 for a buck is a great deal!
Sorry to burst people's bubble but that place is a joke. Super dusty as hell the people are lazy and rip you off and when you work hard to look for something and they automatically ebay everything at the most insane price at regardless of condition and then say you buy at that price they see on eBay and which the same product on eBay at that high price has not sold at all. They don't check sold or completed listings at all. Sorry to say you would need a hazmat suit to be in there. I certainly never returned to that dump ever again. Freaking joke of a place
After seeing the KochComics channel tour of their warehouse I had to visit. Then in 2018 for some reason this company had me flown to NYC, lol!, housed me at the Raddison in Midtown, lol!!, fukn maaan, I was all over that town for two weeks, I didnt go out during the week cuz it was for work that time, I just started, but yeah, I met Neal Adams one time randomly finding out that I was in the same building as his Continuity Comics office, stopped by, and then Mysterious Time Machine both Wednesdays was such a surprise being able to do shots there, and then a Saturday I made sure to get there early, took a train that morning and packed a lunch, and there was this sprinkle of rain as I had my coffee making my way to the Koch Warehouse, it was soo fukn awesome maaan, I stepped out to that docking area and smoked some my joint, went back in and spent hours there,.... You entered through some other way, just past that door if you kept going ten more feet you wouldda seen the main entrance where there is some dollar books on a table out front, then that leads to where those cats were watching TV -yo, I love that place, soo many indie books as well, and just all fukn toys and interesting people I met there, loved it... Thanks, for the tour but you gotta go back, lol!! I had soo many great finds in NYC...
I have heard of that place but I never had the chance to go. Awesome video. I think I would have gotten the venom set.
That Venom set is hot now but they are very common and I thought it was expensive.
this place is like a collectors paradise. :)
Thanks for watching. 🙏

If it ain't atleast a Lil dusty n dirty it ain't authentic. Can't find untapped gold with getting sum dirty on ya
Glad you didn't walk into a slaughter house. I'd enjoy visiting the shop and looking around for a few hours. Love the cover on that Re-Animator.

Nice review.
It's a fun spot. Different stores serve different purposes.
OMG, I need to go to this place! Great pick ups! Thanks for the video!

Love the sound effects

Love places like this!
Cool man. Thanks for watching.
Man!!! I love your comic book stores videos. It's a pity that I live in Brazil and I can't visit these wonderful stores. Thanks for the videos!!
Thank you so much for the kind words. And thanks for watching.
Midtown Comics had a warehouse sales in Long Island City, i hear they closed that to open a store in Astoria.
They have a warehouse on Long Island, but it's not open to the public.

Do they have any magazines like People, Entertainment weekly, Premiere...? And vintage disney Comic?
PS great vlog😊
Yes, they have lots of magazines scattered throughout. I didn't see Disney Comics, but I wasn't looking for them.
You should have pick out a comic from the top shelve in the very back, where no one goes to
LOL. I could have found a hidden gem.

Did u find mold and kitty litter?
LOL. Not on this visit.
So I guess when you approached Peter (watching TV), he asked not to be on camera...😆
LOL. I didn't want to intrude.

Hopefully, they go online or find another location.
Not in NYC. The owner lives in another state.
