Incredible video, very educational and well edited. I knew most of the stuff already but still a great watch. Ill sub with all 3 of my accounts, you deserve it my man. Keep up the great work
The feather was supposed to come out the belly button of a 8 airplane to catch the airplane so it would go into the belly button of the snowman so it would cancel everything out. My question is has it?
Yes. They will boost that one damage type regardless of if its a weapon, arrow or spell. Most weapons don't get a full 12% increase because they deal mixed damage and the charms only boost one type.
for the winged sword talismans, are each of their "states" additive? you stated the attack buff for each state, but didnt specify if these states stack on top of one another, or if thea higher state will overwite the lower state. I.E. does the rotten winged sword talisman deal a total of +27% inc. damage at state 3, or +13%?
They can only be in one state at a time, so the rotten one caps out at +13%. That said, now that I'm taking a second look at the files I might've mixed up trigger intervals and durations. I'm not sure what exactly is going on since trigger interval is usually only used for things like regen per second, and the conditional versions (one for each state) also have different durations and intervals. The whole thing is a mess. I have an idea of what it might mean but I won't be testing it until after I finish the next video. Its hard to test damage numbers because each swing of a combo will do a different amount of damage. Taking the 5th swing of a dagger's light attack combo was what I settled on in the end, going from 50 to 57 with the rotten insignia. If you compare that to the first hit only dealing 37 damage it explains why people are getting confused. A 4th state with +13% exists but it lasts for 0.00s with a 0s interval, so it'll be removed one frame after its added. The only reason its exists is to serve as a timer reset so you can maintain the highest state for longer that its set duration.
So to be sure: In dark souls 2, Flynns ring had a simmilar effect as blue dancer charm, but the dmg boost was calculated from the actual stat "equipment load". I know, it was changed in ds3, because there was not such sperrated skill, but I wonder: Would blue dancer give more dmg boost, if I run on low endurance lvl? Or is it really just about the weight of the stuff that i wear? + I also heared, that the weight of the weapon does matter, in a way, that light armour + heavy weapon = less dmg boost than light weapon and heavy armor. Can you confirm this? sry for the grammar, not my first language.
Not sure, sorry. I did a bit of testing but I didn't want to spend forever to find out. The way the game files are make it really difficult to find useful info.
So does the spear talisman increase the attack damage of all piercing weapons? I'm a tad stumped when it says counter attacks. Any info is much appreciated!!! Nice detailed and informative video. Thanks!
So I might sound like an idiot here, but when I use the blue dancer charm I see a bugged visual of it increasing my damage of the colosal weapon I'm using. So my question is it purely bugged visually or is the actual charm bugged?
Are you able to give more info? From what I can see there are no visual effects tied to the blue dancer charm, so I assume you mean the damage numbers instead?
Not something I'm interested in testing. Might have some talk around it on the wiki pages for the talismans if you look around multiple different wikis
Hey gamer, When I was doing some research, I realized there wasn't any accurate information on what a lot of the cluckers in cluckden cluck do. So I decided to dig deep into the clucker coops and answer the question once and for all. What do the cluckers actually do? Now I wanna just cluck out a quick disclaimer: All this information is for coop 1.03, the numbers are accurate only for CvC scenarios. To start off, the following cluckers each have 3 breeds and they have fairly simple crests, so I will be going over them quite quickly.

What does it mean when it says boost non physical damage resistance? Does it include the damage resistance given by the other talisman like magic, fire, lightening, and holy?
no it doesnt or at least it shouldnt, only skills, as in ashes of war + alot of questions are difficult to answer due to inconsistencies in the game, i recommend picking a spot to try stuff on the same enemy, been working on blue dancing charm for an hour now still dont know why its not working
UA-cam only lets you add chapters in the order they appear in the video. If you do it in any other order it won't work, and I only know that because I tried. :/ If I made the video alphabetically I wouldn't have been able to group similar talismans together and the whole thing would've taken a lot longer. You can still ctrl+f to find a specific talisman if you know what you want to find.
I used the incantation talisman, for the poison mist incantation, to cheese, the way to hard end game tree spirit. I didn't see a difference with it being equipped. Am I missing something, or does it just not work for poison? It just took 20 points every second, with or without it.
No, the talisman is using a different variable to the one most ash of war attacks use. The only thing that should be buffed is the standard guard counter attack where you do a heavy attack after blocking a hit.
I use the Hexinton cheat engine table for most ingame stuff like that. Make a backup of your save files if you want to use it because you can screw up your save file really easily.
The game files gives very little info about it so I probably should've done more research on it before the video instead of assuming things, sorry. I'll make a quick video on it.
The only... And I mean ONLY point to ever make this video would be to GO INTO DEPTH on these. depth. explain. use examples. Etc. You gave some percents which is good, but you went full on lazy and basically made the entire video a waste of time by literally just elongating the existing description but explaining next to nothing on several if not the majority of items
I datamined all the numbers from the files for this video before they were publicly available. If I remade this video today I would definitely go in depth and talk about when certain talismans would be useful and builds they work with, but the game was still kinda new back then. I just wanted to get accurate info out there before anyone else did. There's also a few that I should have tested more before releasing the video. I addressed those and any questions in the comments as they came up. I'm sure there are better videos out there by now anyways. Its not really worth it for me to re-do this video. Sorry bud.

Blue dancer's charm is for players who are doing armor free runs. And it's amazing.

The scorpion charms does it boosts both attack and spell damage respectively?
Yes. They will boost that one damage type regardless of if its a weapon, arrow or spell. Most weapons don't get a full 12% increase because they deal mixed damage and the charms only boost one type.
Anyone else feel like they nailed a lot of these %’s? Like gameplay wise.
