in my opinion, India is a sleeping giant and it has not yet shown its full potential as a powerhouse although India was a big part of both world wars no one really mentions those except the liberation of Haifa in Israel, India, first of all, stands with peace so we don't really want to do any battles but with two so-called peaceful nation on Indian boarders we need to be strong!
India will keep sleeping until our politicians and bureaucrats are busy looting country and not taking indian military needs seriously. Mote mote peto wale neta log desh par sankat aayega to chuhon ki tarah chhup jayenge.

My Dad is an Indian Army Major and once I asked him why the Indian Army never attacks the ones who have been disturbing the internal peace and stability of our nation and was surprised to hear his response, he responded in a calm way that - India's policy is to protect and not to attack unless attacked. Discipline, Patience, and following instructions are more important than a War. I simply got up and left.

India recently tested akash defense system and a made in india UAV. The PM also took a flight of tejas MK1 fighter jet made in india
Tejas 1 was rejected by Indian Navy because it is not really suitable. It has a heavy engine and total weight of the fighter jet is 13500 kgs and can carry a payload of 3.5 tones, top speed 2250 km/hr, combat radius of 400-500 km. Mig-29 also used by Indian navy, Mig 29 weighs 11000 kgs, can carry a payload of 5.5 tones, top speed 2440 km/hr and combat radius 1430 km.

Apart from this India have special territorial scouts army who are specialized in that particular terrains and climate for example Ladakh scouts, Arunachal scouts, Naga regiment, assam rifles, assam regiment, gurkha rifles, kumoan regiment, J&K regiment. This regiments and scout are specialized in jungle warfare, mountain warfare and gorrila warfare.
We do have two aircraft carrier at present and both are operational. We are rapidly increasing our naval assets.

I think it’s important to recognise Indian people more than the nation India. Their culture is ancient old and still continue their traditions no matter what. In a way it is a good thing that most western countries underestmate India's military power. We have our military to defend ourselves, not to go offensive. If any country thinks India to be weak and tries any misadventure, it only results to its peril.
I don’t agree. It is important that India’s strength, capability should be known to the world that way trouble making countries or mischievous elements won’t dare to mess with India. Showing military prowess is equally important.

However, what I meant is, inspite of us displaying our capabilities, if any Western or for that matter our great neighbours choose to underestimate, then they will have to face the consequences which they are not ready for. We showcase our military prowess during every republic day. And we should keep doing it.

I have a recommendation. Can you please react to Operation Safed Sagar it was first ever air battle in heights of Himalayas Indian air force pilots did impossible missions at high altitudes with low equipped fighters like mig-21 and mig-23 it was really act of valor.
In my opinion Indian Military will be 2X more powerful in next 3 years and defence budget will be over 150 Billion $ by 2027

Hmm the numbers which was given regarding the assets of the armed forces have drastically increased. Now India has two aircraft carrier ..the third on the way in couple of years and the fourth am sure is on the design stage. Tanks have doubled. Fighter jets ..jus some time back 125 was delivered by France...few hundred more on the way. And Tejas the home grown fighter. Couple of hundred will be inducted in the near future and if course Russian su koi the latest version is on the table talks on ..the final stages ..own helicopter that too attack helicopter production and delivery have started ..may a hundred to 150 is the installation capacity. So in couple of years India can have 150 attack helicopter at its disposal every year ..sell or keep them that's a different matter. Missile tech. Very far head. Even have our own production of iron done and Russian s 400 type. Getting into active service bullets to guns all in house the present govt has allowed private sector to manufacture defence equipments. Etc etc this jus a brief. It's better no one talks. Cause the matter India is underestimated that's a victory by it self. JAI HIND ❤❤
