Tengu are experts with weapons, so she would have had at least some experience handling a sword in tengu school ...and now I'm curious what Gensokyo residents would arm themselves with in the event of a war. Pseudoscientific devices from the outside work in gensokyo, so if they wanted to, maybe they could fashion an ICBM out of arrowheads, lead pipe and discarded smoke detectors. Or tie a glowstick on the end of a katana and have an energy sword?
This theme sounds like a day in the life of Aya for me, with the piano solo at the end being the evening when she's preparing to rest after a long day.
If the short version during a fight in PoFV felt like it never looped, then this one... Well, you need to listen it during hours before getting bored of it
The version of WGG if Aya hopped onto the scene and played a piano solo in the middle of her theme. Her fingers are fast, and it sounds really good. ZUN did a great job. I'm kinda sad the shortened version of it got popularized by PoFV, though I know why he did it. Those sick keys would have definitely disrupted the tone of gameplay.
I love the piano ZUN decided to add there! Nice and smooth. Might even try to learn that part if I can get my hands on a sheet anywhere. Wind God Girl was already amazing, but this is taking it to the next level!
It's not so big suprise for me, because of my hunger to ZUN Album tracks, I heard all of them already. Still, it's a pretty good extension of normal Wind God Girl...wait... ZUN extended this track for this album and you extended it as well, so this means it is a *double extension* of Wind God Girl?
zun stated on PoFV that he cut the main part of the original 6 mins song and looped it because its quite impossible for him for fights to last for 6 mins... nevertheless... I liked this song in a way that it represents aya as a tengu... fast and dynamic
@@karljazul2000 Late I know, but this song isn't really Aya as a tengu. This is her as a wacky reporter. Her "tengu" theme is the one in Mountain of Faith where she has to do her job of guarding the mountain.
probably because short version meant to be played during game match. Piano part makes the music better, but it is somewhat less resonates with gameplay.
Have you listened to the entire video? You saying this means you have not, or listened farther enough. Do it and youll see what he means about epic piano :D
Anonimus GT The tracks from Bohemian Archive were created before PoFV was released; ZUN removed the piano from this theme and used it as Aya's battle theme, hence why in the PoFV music room it's titled "Wind God Girl (Short Vers.)", if that helps clear anything up.
Since when does Aya have a sword? I guess it makes sense, if someone's unwilling to be interviewed...
Be interviewed or DIE!
It was ZA PROPS
That's for when she has to CUT the interview short! XD
idk, do crow tengu also have duty to protect like white wolf tengu?
Tengu are experts with weapons, so she would have had at least some experience handling a sword in tengu school

Ah, yea
If the short version during a fight in PoFV felt like it never looped, then this one... Well, you need to listen it during hours before getting bored of it
More like months or weeks

Wind God Girl was already amazing, but this is taking it to the next level!
+Lisan + Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red came out before PoFV, and ZUN-sama decided to cut the piano out for Aya's theme.
Hoh? So It was here, In the Bohemian Archive In Japanese Red.
People used to say this track was lost, but It's just from this album.
It's not so big suprise for me, because of my hunger to ZUN Album tracks, I heard all of them already.
Still, it's a pretty good extension of normal Wind God Girl...wait...

Extendception
ZUN didn't extend this track. This is before PoFV.

@@ES21007 *ad plays* "why not both?"
What an absolute dish this girl is
Hell yeah aya''s best theme is back!
Why did the piano startle me
Wait... Why did ZUN-sama cut out the piano for PoFV? The short version is still good but... not as great as this!
Because it's too long?
Toyosatomimi no Miko who gives a shit
I don't know why the blunt delivery of this response is so perfect, but it is
+Ty Coleman oh thank you!

Wonder why ZUN didn't ad this one to StB
Aya, why do you even need subtitles for this ?
It's aya's theme... behind it there is her interview... but shuttttt... secret.... ;D
*[Music]*
Honestly, I'm used to hear the PoFV version more often thant this one. It makes me like the PoFV version more than this here.
Hehehe... Yes YES
... OI! The track repeats, but not entirely, but from the Piano Solo. This Is not Okay! Dx
JAZZY.
I don't see the difference from this one of PoVF one
Have you listened to the entire video? You saying this means you have not, or listened farther enough. Do it and youll see what he means about epic piano :D
no I have already heard it but I meant like the other thing than the solo
Anonimus GT The tracks from Bohemian Archive were created before PoFV was released; ZUN removed the piano from this theme and used it as Aya's battle theme, hence why in the PoFV music room it's titled "Wind God Girl (Short Vers.)", if that helps clear anything up.
"PoVF" Phantasmagoria of View Flower...
Something seems odd...
what seems old?
That piano solo seems really odd :worried: I was waiting for something awesome like everyone said in the comments but I didn't quite expect this.
