Awesome video. You have tons of patience. I'm fixing my 4.3 hifei and always watching your videos as my guide. Its 90% done now and after this I will try to assemble (from scratch, all ruptured into pieces including seams) my 4.4 quicksilver by mercury. Every repair shops here in my place said there is no hope to assemble it again but I really wanted to give 2nd life for my mercury and so I will do it by myself.
I like and subscribe you cause I like what you doing . I need your brain for this one, I want to double pad the bottom of my tube boat . Where should I got about it .? Not puncture not nothing just want to add support to the bottom .
There's many different methods of doubling the bottom layers. You can add an additional layer of fabric, you can also add rubstrakes rubber to the bottom, just have to know what fabric your dealing with. EPDM rubber is for Hypalon and PVC is for PVC. And make sure your using the right glue.

I noticed you have repaired some zodiac Futura's and do you know if they are made of hypalon or PVC? I understand hypalon usually comes in grey and black, so I ma not sure of the red coloured Futura. I have emailed zodiac, but they sent me the user manual which does not mention the material used. Thanks!

They are made of PVC fabric. Hypalon can come in many colors. Zodiac does have a few color options now, but yes older ones were mostly black or grey.
Hi, may I know what brand of glue are u using????
Zodiac glue mainly, if not available, Stabond or Weaver. Only the 2 part glue.
