Умнички дівочки русынскі! Русланочко та Варваронько! Братайте РУСЬ!!! З одягом можна й попростіше - по-словянськи! А голоси у вас чудові! Дай Бог здравія вашим продюсерам поетам та композиторам!
And Varvara she is really good singer, her voice is very strong! And in my opinion, those girls, there song and video represents Russians and Ukrainians, that we have different languages, different culture, but we brothers and sisters, we share same history, religion, customs, so lets love each other, and as Zadornov says: Our government is another nation! So let them fight, not us!!!!!
Очень актуальная сейчас песня. Жаль, что её сейчас "забыли" наши "правители". Всё зависит от народа. Действительно, делить нечего. Господи, пожалуйста, дай всем разума! Судьба одна, мы не должны убивать друг друга, потому что кто-то захотел.... Может объединиться и снести эту нечисть с двух сторон?.... 😢😢😢
Ruslana singing in this stile for very long time, sins she start performing. And I never herd her singing in Russian language. She represents that spirit of freedom and independents for Western part of Ukraine. She was first who unofficially, but whole country called speak Ukrainian language. Personally I prefer speak Russian, but I`m from Odessa, and as all you know we prefer talk Russian, but I respect language of my ancestors.
It is good to know your language. I grew up in Poland, now for over 20 years, I live in Canada, but my dad always made sure that I know Ukrainian, and today , I teach my little girl to speak Ukrainian language, and learn the history. She is proud of her blood line and she is only 9. All the best
Varvara is soo beautiful, just look at her and enjoy! -I tend to go for the black-haired Ukranian girls, but Varvara is most definately a worthy representative of the Russian beauty. :-)
It may sound unbelievable, but this is what actually is, just as you said: "every district, town, village, or quarter" has its own language and YES, they are considered different languages. Typically one country has more than one language spoken (which are called dialects for the purpose of distinguishing them from the official language and, at the same time, making a connection to the official language), however (usually) only the most commonly spoken one gets to become an official language.
This is great. I wish there was some panslavic language so that we could talk freely without using English :) Though I understand parts of the lyrics quite well.
Wow, this is really cool. I don't think I've ever seen both Ukrainian and Russian sung together in one song. Typically Russian is favored, perhaps due to the greater Russo-speaking world population. There should be more songs like this, although I'd prefer a little more upbeat and Ruslana has those indeed.
Yes she does, the energy of that girl, her spirit is the same, unfortunately I just seen the new version of Varvara song, and I lost respect for her , but again, Russia and their version of war, well...
Thank you for sharing your opinion, however I'll have to disagree. Italian is not an artificial language, because it was not made, it evolved. It was originally one of Tuscan dialects chosen to represent the country during the unification. Later on other dialects altered it and changed it to the currently known Italian, which still evolves. As to the people ignoring their own dialects, I don't know much about it however those I personally met knew their dialects and the official language.
The song about Russian-Ukrainian brotherhood is in two languages - Russian and Ukrainian. It's awesome!!! Blonde Varvara is pretty better than Ruslana. But both singers do great!
Your opinion is very interesting, because I think you don't know that the-so-called dialects are considered "languages" by linguists. And in true linguistics all languages are treated equally, so to say, even languages without autonomous development or being official are still considered languages if they have their own vocabulary, grammar + idioms (even if the 3 are similar to some other language, as long as there as visible differences then it is considered another language).
btw. on your profile it's written that you're from Italy, right? Then your country is the best examples of how many different language are spoken in one country. Because every region of Italy have its own language and I'm sure you know, that some of them disagree with the fact that the rest of the world calls them Italian. Because they have their own language, even though other people may call it a dialect.
Yeah, the song is a bit strange. I don't quite get the dance either. I know dance has some level of visual and artistic Expression to it, but it seems that it is a bit over done. If only i knew how to speak russian so i knew what the hell this song was about. That and i think i prefer Varvara over Ruslana. Also, is it just me, or the guys at 1:22 seem a bit board with the whole thing?
Please, don't show your "knowledge" here. Ukrainian and Russian are considered two separated languages, both coming from a group called "slavic languages". btw. for those that want to disagree with me, please consider that I'm a linguist and I work with slavic languages =P
Russia sprang from Ukraine, you have your history backwards. The Kievan Rus was an early medieval principality which existed from the late 9th (founded by Prince Oleg in 880) to the middle 13th centuries, centered around the early city of Kiev, & was the predecessor of the three nations, Belarus, Ukraine, & Russia, ruled by Vladimir the Great, & his son Yaroslav the Wise during the golden age of the Kievan Rus. My girlfriend is Ukrainian & speaks Russian. I see little difference between them.
Bravo! Молодцы! Красавицы!

There is, it's called slavic esperanto
Basically, if you are slav, you can understand it

No she is not 🤣🤣
Now Varvara has to be in an army uniform , to perform for Putin
