I have a few suggestions: -The Twilight Bush should have a different texture at night, maybe some resin spikes. -Stable Twilight Bush: obtained by right clicking a Twilight Bush with a resin brick, it keeps the day/night version of the block forever just like the flower and shroom. -During Halloween, mobs that would normally spawn with carved pumpkins or jack o´lanterns in their head, now should have the pale versions when spawning in the pale garden. -During Halloween, mobs that would normally spawn with jack o´lanterns in their head, now should have the soul version when spawning in the Soul Sand Valley. -Pale Eyemooshroom, a rare mooshroom variant obtained by breeding 2 mooshrooms in the pale garden. hitting it with a thunder would transform it into the creaking eyemooshroom, an orange version. -Stable version of the resin torches and lanterns. -The pale creeper should only replace 80% of the creeper spawns in the pale garden. This way it would be consistent with other mob variants such as husks and strays. Also this keeps the danger of regular creepers while escaping the creaking. -The pale creeper explosion should also transform every mossy cobble/brick block into the pale version. -Maybe The pale creeper should leave a lingering darkness or blindness effect when exploding inside the pale garden. Considering It has no blocks to transform there. -New custom sounds for the pale eye instead of reusing the shulker one. -Maybe an exlusive item obtained by the ancient sprite? sorry if its too much lol Update: another suggestion: pale Creeper head
I like these ideas except for the idea of regular creepers spawning in the pale garden. The pale garden should honestly be ruled by its own mobs. I think mobs from outside the pale garden shouldn’t spawn at all. Mobs like zombies and skeletons ruin the immersion of the biome for me and a lot of other players.
Maybe it could just take damage when you take damage So while you can heal, it can’t It would still be a really effective bodyguard, but if you’re not smart with it and take too much damage, it dies
There should be crows or ravens that fly around the garden at the day, while at night, they sit on top of trees and watch players with glowing orange eyes.
I have an idea: Pale Moss Sleeping Bags. Crafted like bed with pale moss instead of wool, these would only be useable during the day and would have you rest until nighttime! I feel like this would help encourage players to engage with the nighttime functionalities of the game in general. (Maybe have one of the planks in the recipe replaced with the creaking heart or something to make the player have to go there to get it)
I'd recommend adding Resin Lamps, which act like the torches and lanterns, but in a full block. It'd be great for use in builds, like light panels that turn on during the night!
i kind of liked the old mushroom because it looked a lot like a morel mushroom. the new textures also look pretty good though. and i think a good suggestion is making the small mushroom texture more similar to the large one because there already are a few mushrooms that have a very similar shape. i would suggest making it a more tall and pointy mushroom, again like a morel.
The only thing mojang really needs to add to the pale garden is a block that changes when you look at it and it will open so many new ways to use redstone machines.
I think the Story mode pumpkin should be obtainable. Just making a little hard like you have to cave & pick it up with Dimond or better to get it first time. and to get the green light it cold be a combination of torches or us something green (like green glass) and a tourch to get the green light and maybe make bout equitable
I like the idea of the ancient sprite, but I feel like it'd be cooler if it lumbered around in a small pale grotto or something. I also like the idea of pale eyes also being found randomly in the pale garden almost like a creaking heart.
For the guard, i think itd be nice if the lid doesnt float, but instead reveal some... i guess stands if that makes sense to differentiate it a bit more from the shulker
Add pale skeletons, which replace skeletons, but they hold pale bows, which shoot very slow, like the speed is slow, but the arrow moves forward and isnt effected by gravity, and despawns after 3 min, so no lag or something. And pale bones, pale bone block, and pale bonemeal. Pale bonemeal converts the surrounding into pale version, like the pale creeper.
for the resin pulse thingy, there definetly should be some sort of visual particles for how large the range is, maybe while the player is holding it they are able to see it

Add enchants, one could be the Stopping Watcher (or rename it according to ur choice) , which can be put on helmet, and it stops some specific mobs when ur look at them, like the creaking, but they are then linked to a random block in their radius (which can be easily broken so not like bedrock or smt), and then they basically become the creaking, and they only function when not looking, and the linked block is their heart
you should add a visualization for the seeking block state like the daylight sensor turning blue! and, for one way glass, make the texture so it is just barely visible so it isnt op. Also, if the seeking block is on the GLASS side of the one way glass, it should activate since it can “see” you through the glass, making it a one way seeking block system. I really like the pale spore thing, it kinda looks like fireflies, espcially because its at night! A dispenser should also be able to use a resin rune on the friendly creaking.
oh, and, as a joke, a “p-resin-t” which has 5 slots (like a hopper) and can be closed/opened by shift right clicking, which can be given/placed to other to players like a “gift”. crafted with colorable wool and/or a pale wood/resin/something else.

Add pale illagers, much like zombified villagers, but in illagers forms. They spawn in abandoned camps, an open structure, no roof, but like a huge camp post, wiht a fence for border, and they have like mini structures for creaking expermients etc, and the pale illagers are passive

This mod is really good 💯 But i have sum suggestions, i know you'll love the last one :3 Make resin torches and resin lantern waterproof, because resin irl is water proof, kinda Make the Pale Mushroom texture match its large(the true, bonemealed) version. Make it tall-ish and unique. Also, can you put the eye thing on the mushroom around and not on the center? Its quite off and it seems that you just copied the flower variant. Also, can you add some eye textures on the mushroom blocks just to give variation and no sense of nothingness on the blocks? Can you also add pale spots on Creaking Mushroom Blocks? It will also be funny if you make them animated, making them blink could freak people off lmao. Im sure these will enhance their visual appeal :3 Please add glowing thorn things on the pale shrubs when it activates at night. The blindness effect it causes is way out of science lol, how can thorns blind you?. So i suggest making an effect that the bush gives if you stepped in or collide to the bush, its gonna infect you with some sort of virus or infection that will blind you in random times after colliding with it. Its also funny if it will inflict random bad effects like mining fatigue, weakness, slowness like terraria bats do. :3 Nice idea: Pale/Creaking/Resin Catalyst - killed mob's exp's infect the surrounding area with pale moss, just like how sculk catalyst work - stores mob exp's during the day and unleashes them in the night. If the mob is killed at night, it will automatically does its thing. Name idea for it tho: "Twisted Catalyst" Explanation: basically, just like the warped forest and its true variant: the crimson(theres a lore roaming around that says the Endermans corrupted a crimson biome, making it colder and liveable for their species, that why its called "WARPed Forest", also WARP is like another term for transforming matter from one place to another). The pale garden is a twisted variant of the dark wood forest. Ik this is much work for yall because Im also a mod maker of my own mod for 2 years and yeah. No sweat, no gain ❤️
idea for a new block to add to atmosphere: the Pale Mouth. It would generate on ground level, somewhat commonly and embedded into the ground on the same level as the grass or pale moss blocks. during night time, it creates horizontal translucent Pale Mist particles within a 3 block radius (so a 7x7 area with it at the center). then having a stable version for it that toggles on when powered by redstone (like the copper bulb) instead of activating at night
also, it would be nice if the shield deteriorated based on how much damage it takes rather than based on time, so something closer to how wolf armour works
To balance the creaking golem, I think it should be made of a creaking heart instead of just 2 pale logs. That'd mean you actually have to kill the original creaking in order to spawn yourself a friendly one, the current cost is just too cheap and you can basically build a creaking golem within 2 minutes of entering pale garden (with daytime)
I really like some of these ideas. But I feel like the Sprite mob could drop something like armor trims or enchantments. I have some ideas however. First trim is asymmetrical and covered in eyes called Creak. Then another that is similar but a symmetrical eye pattern called Gardener. Some enchantment books that you could receive are called Sight which is for helmets or pumpkins, it makes players or mobs slower when you look at them. Then the other enchantment it the Curse of Creaking and it is the same but reversed.
A new mob, freaking, which has a freaking heart, intsa breakable, and spawns same way as creaking hearts, but rarely, and when ur line of sight is near it, it attacks, even when ur looking at it, and when you look away, it transforms into particles, and in about 2 sec, it re transforms infront of you, and attacks again. when u hit it, it acts like normal creaking hit behaviour, like tells where its heart is.
Hey, an Idea for balancing the friendly creaking, try to make it invested in the host, basically if you spawn it will have the same features you suggested but it won't die, although if the host or the person who spans the friendly creaking, the friendly creaking will die along aswell :)))))

You should make the Resin rune be obtained when you trade with the ancient sprite and not the pale creeper.This encourages the player to trade with the sprite and also it makes the player visit the pale garden more often
Right click the creaking golem with resin brick to make it not like a golem, but mainly for redstone, as it doesnt despawn in day, and allow it then to spawn where you want to the specific position, so ez redstone
I think the recipe for the resin torch must be 2 step, normal torch crafting then putting the torch and the resin clumps together to make this variant, it doesn't make sense that resin clumps just emit light while being in a torch state Edit: same thing with lanterns
The resin pulse thing should have the particle range be dependent on how large the resin platform it is on, i would personally love to have this sitting on fence posts on a castle or something but with the giant platform i would have to make makes it impossible
I'm kinda debating whether I think Resin for the Resin Torches are good or if I should suggest using the Open Eyeblossom flower as part of the recipe instead, as I'm still not sure what the orange part of the Eyeblossom is. (Take that, Torchflower) Cool item either way!
I think the creaking should be able to climb blocks and should have spiky resin on his hands that makes him deal more damage to the player and finally when he dies he should drop pale oak and some resin but do whatever you want it is your mod after all
Add a giant moth that spreads Resin over mobs' minds. And a White Palace in the pale garden that contains Pale King's corpse...wait this has gone too far for a reference...
I also think that the golems are a bit op I think they could have to be clicked on with a rune to awaken and I think it would be cool if it would be awake when it is night but at day you would need to click it fairly often with an item otherwise it would close in on its self an basically just leave a tree trunk
Vary cool mod My idea for the mod, add creeking zombies ans make them be hostile to all hostile mobs qnd the player they will spawn if a creeking creeper explodes neer a zombie amd they will have double the health of a regular zombie and drop corrupted flesh. Corrupted flesh will poisen the player when eaten and can be used to make poisen potions
Make mobs AFRAID of the garden but the illagers, and they're afraid of the creaking. So annoying that I still am getting attacked by mobs than the actual creaking.
I think the next april fools updated would be awesome, if there could be a chunk error update based on chunk errors. in 2023 we got the vote update wich was an april fools update based on a mob vote and then last year we got the poisonous potato update based on the poisonous potato item, so why not a chunk error update as an april fools update

This is a cool update one suggestion that might be cool is to make pale berry bushes that only regrow at night.

It would be cool if you could add a calibrated sight block that generates a stronger redstone signal the closer your crosshair is to the block.

I think the recipe for the resin torch must be 2 step, normal torch crafting then putting the torch and the resin clumps together to make this variant, it doesn't make sense that resin clumps just emit light while being in a torch state

The resin pulse thing should have the particle range be dependent on how large the resin platform it is on, i would personally love to have this sitting on fence posts on a castle or something but with the giant platform i would have to make makes it impossible
Thats something one of the devs mentioned but we didnt wanna make it to close to the beacon

I'm kinda debating whether I think Resin for the Resin Torches are good or if I should suggest using the Open Eyeblossom flower as part of the recipe instead, as I'm still not sure what the orange part of the Eyeblossom is. (Take that, Torchflower)

the orange part i think is meant to be like the pollen part in a sunflower thats why bees can pollenate from a open one and not a closed
I think the creaking should be able to climb blocks and should have spiky resin on his hands that makes him deal more damage to the player and finally when he dies he should drop pale oak and some resin but do whatever you want it is your mod after all

yh but just to avoid inventory clutter, we plan to rework / change petrified wood in a future update
Add a giant moth that spreads Resin over mobs' minds. And a White Palace in the pale garden that contains Pale King's corpse...wait this has gone too far for a reference...
Make the moths eat or infest the wood near by and turn the wood into petrified wood

I also think that the golems are a bit op I think they could have to be clicked on with a rune to awaken and I think it would be cool if it would be awake when it is night but at day you would need to click it fairly often with an item otherwise it would close in on its self an basically just leave a tree trunk
in what way are they OP, without the runes they are worse than a iron golem
I suppose but I feel that people would just spam them as there recipe is rather cheap and renewable
And even the runes are renewable

My idea for the mod, add creeking zombies ans make them be hostile to all hostile mobs qnd the player they will spawn if a creeking creeper explodes neer a zombie amd they will have double the health of a regular zombie and drop corrupted flesh. Corrupted flesh will poisen the player when eaten and can be used to make poisen potions

Make mobs AFRAID of the garden but the illagers, and they're afraid of the creaking. So annoying that I still am getting attacked by mobs than the actual creaking.
I think the next april fools updated would be awesome, if there could be a chunk error update based on chunk errors. in 2023 we got the vote update wich was an april fools update based on a mob vote and then last year we got the poisonous potato update based on the poisonous potato item, so why not a chunk error update as an april fools update

It currently works nearest player as they dont really have a "owner"
Can you make the creaking be able to climb walls so you can't just trap it in a hole
not really as the creaking isnt meant to be hard to fit, but we have plans for something in v3 if you like a challenge

In my opinion. Pale creepers shouldn't spawn outside of the pale garden since they give you the pale blocks before you entered the garden.
you can get them from wandering traders anyway and they only spawn a very low chance in dark oak forest and they connect to pale gardens

this isnt much of a original idea but like a pale garden owl/creeking owl of sorts that can spy on you but in my idea it makes the creaking deal more damage
