I hope somebody sets up something to reward these kids, they more than deserve it! Clearly they were raised by very good parents! Thank God you guys were driving by at that exact moment and followed your hearts on what to do!
They did what one would expect of anyone in that situation. They saw a fire and alerted the residents. Good job! The real question is why so many people find the normal behavior one would expect as a member of a society to be heroic.
Give them all the recognition, awards and rewards possible. They set an example that other young people can follow. This should be shown on every cable news network.
These teens did an amazing thing!! Just driving by, saw trouble, didn’t worry about a thing but saving the people inside immediately. I will share this video with everyone to show off the heroic acts they showed the world. THIS is what this world needs to bring peace in humanity and togetherness back. Thank you for sharing.
@@JenniferJoness Sorry, I couldnt see anything on this vid and looked up what happened to find the real story. Those 3 really are good kids, when the caption said "teens" I automatically assumed something else was going on and NOT heroics.
Those young people deserve an award from the city and every serve group in town. Going to the aid of someone is true heroism, particularly when it is done without thought or concern of your own safety. Thanks!!
If that doesn't happen a GoFundMe should be started for these very deserving boys. Imagine how exciting it will be for them to tell schoolmates the amazing things they did here! How I spent my summer vacation indeed!
I can see what your saying but why awards they did what an caring person would do...why in this day and age does everyone need recognition for doing the obvious
Before I get criticism of course they great great kids thst did an amazing job, and their parent have obviiously raised great young people...I don't think they would want any great reward for helping
@@davecook3539 If you have kids do you reward them with money for good grades? Taking out the trash? Cleaning their room? Watching younger siblings? Almost all parents do. Well this is much bigger, much better than raking the yard. It is a reward for doing what nobody else on that street did. People should help because it is the right thing to do. You might want to call the USPS and ask for that adult mailman's name so you can remind him of that.
Trouble with the world today everyone expects to be rewarded for every little deed, those young guys were great but sure they didn't do it for a reward, just caring for fellow man...if you want to reward them go ahead..
Good job young men for helping those people out and pulling up far enough so the fire trucks could get to the house to put it out!! Y’all are awesome!! ❤
My thoughts exactly. The post man just stands there, takes a picture, then drives off. No one else that drove by checked to see if they were getting help.
This God you asked to bless the teens, that would be the same God that allowed the house to catch fire, wouldn't it? Or do you believe in more than one God? The teens did good, and we should be proud of them. No need to bring imaginary friends to the party!
If they told you to believe or else I could see you commenting. Why do people like you who yell be tolerant unless it doesn't fit your narrative??? @@CherylHaurik If you're in the good old USofA then all you need to do is watch current events to see that there are plenty of people pushing really hard for the express purpose of telling other people what to believe. I'm fine with people adopting whatever philosophy they choose as long as it doesn't deprive others of the same courtesy. Unfortunately, a lot of "believers" don't share that view and feel compelled impose their beliefs onto money, oaths, public schools, courtrooms, etc. When asked for a rational argument to back up the validity of their preferred absolute truth, it always boils down to them having "faith" that it's the truth rather than being supported by observable fact and objective logic. I know and love many wonderful people of several different faiths. I would never deprive them of the peace it brings them; but they also have the good sense to know that faith is personal rather than something to wear on one's sleeve like a badge of honor.
@@mikel5582 I agree that many people get a prideful attitude and are acting as better than others. I am in no way better than anyone else, I am forgiven. The bible tells us to go out into the world and give the gospel to the lost, and also says if they don't want to hear it walk away. Our lives are supposed to be a light for others. The Bible also states don't be ashamed of the Lord and his gospel; therefore the private faith is not really a good idea. So very much going on in this world that is talked about in the Bible and we need to be aware of the things that the Lord warns of. Have a Wonderful day 🙏
I remember this happened to our neighbors house everyone was just staring at the house burning. I pull up first thing I did was grab my water hose and start spraying the house. When the fire department got there the flames were almost out. I don't panic when bad things happen. I'm quick at thinking of ways to resolve problems. Them 2 teens did great. Oh and I did help my neighbor fix the back room that burned for free.
Same here. The more chaotic things get the calmer and more controlled I become. Been that way my whole life and it served me well in Vietnam as a forward observer. These young men are natural first responders, but I’ve seen and been part of proper training of men to be quick and decisive responders. People have it in them.
Most people just stare as they drive by when they see something happening. The fact that these KIDS had the humanity to stop and help these people as well as the good sense to park up the street and leave room in front of the house is incredible. I hope they get some recognition 👏👏 Also, assuming they called 911 after being alerted by the kids, about 4 minutes for the fire truck to be pulling up in front of the house is pretty impressive. They must have a dedicated fire department nearby.
I had the exact same thoughts! I was very impressed by the response time of the fire dept. and the actions of these kids! Sadly, in the world today you usually just see people with their cell phones out and they are recording instead of trying to rescue!! So very impressed by this video!
My mom was in a house fire as a child, it was a random man walking past the house that helped her. The firefighters were all volunteers and were to scared to enter the house. But the man saw my mom and told them they had to save her. She was only around 10 yrs old, so i wouldbt have been alive. Thank you strangers ❤❤❤❤❤
Something similar happened years ago near my neighborhood when two teenaged boys ran into a burning house and rescued an elderly woman. They rushed back in to rescue what they thought was a child but it turned out to be a pet. Truly inspiring.
Good job boys, im sure your parents are proud of you two. Thank you for helping them home owners, unlike the mailman that just stopped, took a couple of pictures, got back in his ride and took off.
Wow!!! What an amazing job to the parents who raised these boys. What a courageous & selfless act you boys did! It's so good to see news like this with everything else going on!!!

It was so heart warming to see those boys risk their lives to save someone else’s. A lot of people would just call 911 and the rest would have driven past like they didn’t could care less. I’m hoping that these boys parents are given the recognition they deserve for their raising their children the way they are, beautiful souls with gracious hearts and the thought to never think twice about saving a person from a burning building.
We had a house fire on our street last week. Every single neighbor was running over to see how they could help. These two boys are angels. I’m so thankful they are safe. This video really makes you realize, there’s wonderful people out there… and then there’s those who have fallen on a dark path of not caring about fellow human beings. Kudos to the young heros. Arrival time of fire department was impressive. Mail carrier was a major league fail. For comparison. 1) We called 9-1-1 for a victim who wasn't breathing. Took over 6 minutes for the ambulance, that was indeed at the station, to an address less than 2 miles away from that station. 2) We lived in a rural area. After calling 9-1-1, three of us took on a neighbor's housefire. While we were inside, a deputy drove by. A neighbor tried to flag him down. He refused to stop and drove away. I thought we were just trying to slow the fire while we waited for the fire department, but we managed to put it out. Shortly thereafter, a fire truck arrived along with 3 deputy cars, including the one that refused to stop. Then the deputies jumped into action. A deputy demanded to know the owner of a dog wandering around dragging a leash. Proclaiming we have leash laws you know. The dog's owner had been walking the dog when he came running to help fight the fire. Unlike the deputy who drove away. Then a deputy tried to bully the other citizen fire fighter as well. Good thing those deputies arrived. AFTER the fire was out. WITH the fire truck. How convenient. Two other people who had their reasons declined to help fight the fire. Looking back, and it applies even after the occupants are out, there are other urgent things to do. A. Make sure that occupants do NOT reenter the home. It's common and often fatal. B. Call 9-1-1. Don't assume someone else did. C. Rally the neighbors. In our case, a disabled neighbor called another neighbor. He came running with a 5 gallon bucket. And we needed him. D. Warn the neighbors. They may need to round up the kids and pets to prepare to leave in case the fire spreads. E) At neighboring houses where no one answers, check for signs of pets. Be ready to do something about those pets if the fire jumps to that house.
I figured that the mail carrier called 911 immediately, because they stopped for a while but didn’t leave the vehicle, then drove off as soon as sirens could be heard. That person was on duty, and I don’t know postal workers’ responsibilities and limitations when it comes to this kind of thing, but I’ll bet they have guidelines about seeing emergencies and how much they can get involved.
My water broke and our township ambulance got here in about 5. Terrible drivers though, swear they hit every bump in the road. Probably why the line they put in my left arm was bent and unusable by the hospital staff and they didn't have time to put one in my right until after birth.
How sad that a grown man (mailman) stands there and watches while children save the residents. God bless those 3 teens. I hope they are awarded for their bravery.
I thought the same thing, the mailman was fearful of getting involved. And the other care drivers that just slowed down to gawk and then keep going were also losers. Interesting that no neighbors came to help, despite cars being in every driveway.
The true definition of home town HEROS! Your parents raised you well. Great job you are so brave not many as we can see from the video of how many people stopped to watch but didn’t get involved. I was so surprised by the postman’s lack of action. Sorry but I was.
Yeah. So glad those boy got them out too. My folks' house is just one block from the fire station and when both of them needed ambulances they were there within a few minutes.
Thank goodness those kids drove by and paid attention to the outside world. We thank you. Doing the right thing by helping others in need shouldn't be a special occurrence, but in today's world... the narcissist's selfish behaviors are making heroes out of those simply showing human empathy and compassion.
Incredible heroes! I hope they know what they did is so much bigger than themselves!! This is truly inspiring and the difference they made in not only those two resident’s lives, but everyone who’s touched by this video. It’s amazing to know there are good people out there who will help when it’s needed, rather than just worry about themselves!
It certainly explains why most kid's act the way they do. People like the lookie loo's or the stop and do nothings are the people raising them. Thankfully a few fantastic parents are still around raising amazing humans to be an example to our world 🙏
I'm seriously pissed at all others who just watch then leave really ,congrats to the teens so proud of them I hope they were truly recognized for their compassion and bravery
Them 3 young men are heroes, they didn't see the fire and just keep driving away, no they stopped, got out, went into a burning house risking their own lives to save people they didn't know from their house on fire that's what I call them heroes and humanitarian, they have compassion for others who are in danger. I hope they all made it out safely, the one thing that irritated me was the postman who didn't bother to help, and the other car that drove by, they have no compassion for the people and those boys who risked their lives to save strangers from their burning house. Maybe they'll be firemen when they grow up . They've got what it takes

As far as not stopping the fire we live in a sin curse world and bad things happen.
What makes America great is GREAT neighbors like you, sir!

Same here. The more chaotic things get the calmer and more controlled I become. Been that way my whole life and it served me well in Vietnam as a forward observer. These young men are natural first responders, but I’ve seen and been part of proper training of men to be quick and decisive responders. People have it in them.
That's what being a good neighbors are all about!!
@ Shannon Richard yes
I had the exact same thoughts! I was very impressed by the response time of the fire dept. and the actions of these kids! Sadly, in the world today you usually just see people with their cell phones out and they are recording instead of trying to rescue!! So very impressed by this video!

@@mkuti-childress3625 I bet those guidelines don't say get your phone out and film it like that guy did.
