The Red Green Show: Classic Comedy Television That Continues To Charm Distributed exclusively by space-mob.com
Y'all done took Jerome back! I haven't seen this show in years and I loved it back in the day. Just good non-vulgar comedy full of a great jokes and slapshtick.
I just got started but have to say, the
"Um-brush" is totally Genius! 😂😎👍
I know right? I want one!😃
My neighbor asked for some duct tape and I said oh you mean the handyman's secret weapon she just looked at me lol
@@Saucy-ws6jc Tell her about this show!
If she doesn’t find you handsome, hopefully she finds you handy!
Should have told her Mr.Green took the last I had!
Red Green kicks ass...Love this show!
I've had Red Green on my computer via youtube . I love every one of his episodes.
One of the best episodes. Love Red Green (Steve).
well,,,i have stated this before , but a big THANK YOU A.....goes to whoever brought this here for us to watch and laugh .
lol yep me too, that was the best physical comedy harold has done
Irony: The 2nd dumbest thing you ever did was forgetting the dumbest thing you ever did. The best writing of any show ever.
I worked out of a sheet metal union in Oklahoma. That's were I learned the antiseptic quality of duct tape. Get a slash on your forarm, put it together with duct tape. By the time you got home at the end of the day, peel it off and the current has already knitted itself together!😎🍺🎼
Wow I'll have to remember that when I get cut at work
I grew up in NH and ME. Watching Red on PBS was the best part of my nite after work. I’m 50 now.
BRING BACK POSSUM LODGE. KEEP YOUR STICK ON THE ICE AND KEEP STRONG
15 years was an awesome run! Besides, Steve is doing live shows now
The guy chat bit in the johnboat and Red's narration during the black and white videos are my favorite parts of this show. Fishing conversation is always witty, and the b/w fastforward films are hilarious.
That toilet brush/umbrella/drill actually seems like a good idea.
12:54 I think Harold's been wanting to do that for awhile.
perhaps it may have been a good thing Red didnt say "That's All Folks" while having hiz head in the hole of that satellite dish lol
Ranger Gord's cartoons are awesome.
Edit: This was the episode that introduced me to Red Green!
Greatest show EVER.
I loved his as a kid!
Thank you Pat you were Hilarious Cutting wood,,,,
very hilarious show
Tim the tool man Taylor has nothing on Red.
patrick is so awesome
if life gives you lemons thow them in vodka...i love vodka
3 guys fishing and talking in the boat segment is just so Zen
"My mom sitting home...waiting for her cut."
@@mikezylstra7514 interesting. i'll file that into my to do list folder .
Mike talks about a bank robbery here while on the fishing boat with Red and Dalton. In 1990, on the TV show "My Secret Identity", Wayne Robson played a bank robber dressed in a gorilla suit. I don't think the man's name was revealed.
I already have a wiggly Wally!!!
Well then you get a Wobbly Wendy
Love it
You go ahead. I'll be right down... hahaha!
Harold is not ok 🤣
Bull viagara is sometimes known as Spanish Fly.
You're getting a wobky Wendy
Bull Viagra Patty's wasn't expecting that

Take that America
wakaphwap without American the show would have ended years before...
Can you do a cyber- goth -android rock star ??
I’m a man, I can change, if I have to, I guess
seriously , where would we be without duct tape ? ! . Poll time : what everyday things, products (probably already in your home or could easily be found at your local ###mart or everything store ) would come second to duct tape in being multipurpose or at least useful in a pinch ? please, any and all , replies !
I was thinking coat/shirt hangers but they've been one piece plastic molded for some 40 years now and you can't unwind it to get in your car you locked yourself out of .
Super or gorilla glue. Wd40, zip ties and rubber bands.
For tools a hammer, cresent wrench, vice grips and a welder.
@@travisrolison9646 welder ? thats not an everyday multiple use tool . how about black garbage bags ? or lets say those round foam tubes you put on your water pipes in the basement ?
@@nemo-nb3gh that's why I said for tools, and separated it from the others.
Good call with the garbage bags. Though id also say grocery store bags also
@@travisrolison9646 (bro , here's a link to images and stuff im about to comment on www.amazon.co.uk/Grey-Pipe-Insulation-Foam-Length/dp/B071HNPGF1) ... for about a decade now i've been finding those cheap foam pipe insulation tubes multipurpose. example: not much room in kitchen . foam tubes already have a partial slit. i fit over the side of kitchen table edge next to wall , shove it next to wall , no wall scratches from table abbuted to it ! b. outdoor folding chair crossbar against my neck & head bothersome. I use foam tube insulation around it, tied some old shoe laces in three places across the top and now i can sit back and head and neck comfortable. recliner and sometimes strolling slowly not really walking, exercise for the heart : cut two pieces just a bit longer than my palm, insert two together, and i can sit or mope around on my feet, squeezing two of them in both or one hand which gives "the ticker" a bit of a workout. and, ah ? .... sorry im at that point of the day when " i think therefore I am " confused and got a headache. hopefully i will come back with more ideas and anyone else free to do so with any everyday thing you find multipurpose . oh wait, paper clip . the zipper puller broke up but zipper thing which zips both sides still there. fitted paper clip on there, rapped it in duct tape, voila i got a new zipper puller up and downer ! i can still zip and unzip my jacket !
oh yeah than theres the safety pin (but who uses them for diapers anymore ? ) . if a button pops off shirt i just use a safety pin to close shirt, to continue looking my sartorial best....
Il take a Suposatory like that..
🤣🤣🤣
😂
My family just couldn't understand my fascination with this show... And oh my God it's still funny !!
Yeah, I rlly enjoy this show
You're not the only one whose family outs full of uncultured swine
Our family likes it too. Were city slickers...it's comedy and funny as all get out.
My dad and I always watched it together, while my mom and sister were elsewhere hating the show
I grew up with my dad and I watching new and reruns of this show
they don't make shows like this anymore, classic
ian anthony p
They're not allowed to.
Because people are pussys
Not even in 2020
@@johnmenth3648 who's stopping them?
Thank god this is on youtube I started watching this with my dad when I was little And this show is awesome!
I’ve been watching a few dozen of these episodes and you can’t deny how talented and imaginative the producers of these show were.
Used to watch this show on the local PB S station when I was ten or eleven. Still just as funny.
Same
Me and my mother used to do it all the time.... It was the only way it was allowed to stay up late when I was young.
We can't; none of our sitcoms are as good as The Red Green Show
21:31. Quickest lodge meeting ever.
Probably gonna go vomit or take the biggest shit ever Lol
@@jimt.626 Bull VIAGRA, or a great big little blue pill, aka honey im going STRAIGHT home and I mean STRAIGHT home 😉. All of us MEN have BUSINESS to take care of at home.... With their wives....
@@jimt.626 Or maybe line up at the hospital to get their stomachs pumped.
The look on Harold's face when the words, "Bull Viagra" were used...
Nothing like old-fashioned bull Viagra burgers.
This, oddly, was the first episode I have ever seen on TV. Never fails to be funny at the end...
“Look out here it comes and let the chainsaw go through, it’s no problem it’s headed for the lake!!”😂😁
I grew up watching this stuff with my dad, I'll never stop. Thank god this stuff's on youtube.
The UFO Cart sounds like the jetsons when he pulls away
Kind of looked like it to!
Mmm-mmm, nothing like some good old-fashioned bull Viagra burgers.
We need more of this on our side of the border. How many reality shows and singing contests can we take?????
sadly there are a ton of people who like mindless tv shows playing in the background. i know parents who leave the dumbest shows running non stop for their toddlers or babies to stare at and i know retirement homes who leave reality shows playing 24/7 because the residents are sleeping through the shows or just stare blankly at anything you put on TV. Both these groups of people watch a ton of TV since they dont work and spend alot of time at home. Sadly mindless TV can sell more than an interesting and intelligent show like this
You forgot the cooking competitions.
Ur u friendly canadian here fuck off
Infinite. Those are cheep to make. Cheeper than this. So it's what TV companies will make. They will only do that wich is cheapest for profitability.
@@arthas640 Hi. I'm disabled. I don't work, and I spend all of my day at home. I would rather be skinned alive and tossed in a salt mine than ever watch any of the shows you've described. Please do not lump people into arbitrary groups based on employment status and preferences in being a wierdo who is out and about all the time or enjoying the nice safe home taoired to their tastes.
In real life, they would definitely want to rush to the hospital; even one of those burgers would probably be a massive overdose.
Red driven that clam mobile had me rollin on the floor.
Yeah, though I'm betting he can't drive it on months without a "r" in the name.
This isn't a sitcom, it's sketch comedy
Way better than a sitcom, very few are any good.
Little bit of both
I think the lumberjack contest is the best "Adventures" segment I've seen! Even though it was without Bill...:D
A true Canadian Classic.
I love this show. If anyone knows where I can get a DVD of it, let me know.
They have their own page red-green.com
@@jimmycupp9947 I bought the entire box set from Amazon a few years ago on sale. It was definitely worth the expense.
...I feel like i am surrounded by Bills , Daryls, Walters and harolds...
I laughed so hard I cried! LMAO!
Harold in the lumberjack contest had me rolling. Too funny!
Looks more like a UFO
I am half tempted to try that new toilet brush
Red finally built a hybrid UFO.
The health inspector is going to have them sleep with the fishes.
Dad always used to call Red a "crazy old man" due to all his projects and antics.
I am Australian and stumbled upon this show from a friend who had some burnt copies on DVD. This show was never broadcast here (to my knowledge). I suppose I like subtle humour and this doesn't really cut it there, except for the brilliant 'My wife didn't laugh either' bit, but I feel Im addicted to this show now. You'd be surprised at the similarities between Australia and Canada - a few choice sayings I thought were unique here appeared in this episode. Can someone tell me if this show was considered very broad in Canada or if it was really critically acclaimed. I mightn't be laughing hard a helluva lot, but Im watching episode after episode and loving it.
Well, it's a bit late now, given your comment is 4 years old, but I'll answer you anyway: this show was hella big here in Ontario, and to my knowledge also popular throughout the rest of Canada and the Northeastern USA.
It won several awards. Also see if you can find Corner Gas; also no longer in production after something like 6 seasons. A sitcom, versus sketch comedy, but another fine Canadian production.
They also show Red Green in the Midwest US. Great show, I think most PBS carriers do.
You have to live across the river from Canada to get the gist of it.
6:11 Nice method of censorship, guys!
I want the umbrella drill toilet bowl scubber!!!!😃 I think that could be the basis of a real invention that does that! Seriously I want one😂
The clam car is both awesome and hilarious :) Love Red Green :)
I don't know how many awards there are for tv comedy but Red Green should have won them all.
Thanks for sharing the episode. The RGS is awesome.
10 years ago this video was posted.
The internet was a new and wonderful place. Flash animation was long and memes were crafted with care and passion.
Then came the dark times, before the coming of the Facebook and the Google.
Now in the wasteland a lone hero still walks, surviving to build things with duct tape and make us proud!
@Number 1 Western Fan Thank you! it is certainly worth remembering how much things have changed.
I love The Word Game. Best prizes, ever! ;)
I loved this show as kid n rewatching I knew why it's a comedy of stupid funny hijinks
I love their sense of humor 🤣🤣
Wasn't this around the time when there was an issues with mad cow disease in the EU and Canada?
Why, yes. I believe it was.
Aside from the worms, a Red Green burger joint makes sense.
Actually, the worms make sense for a fishing lodge. Red turning the worm around to go from "Wiggly Wally" to "Wobbly Wendy" is also a nice touch, since worms are hermaphrodites.
Awesome show
21:39 shortest lodge meeting ever
Funny stuff reminds me of Hee-Haw here in the States.
Inspired partly by Hee-Haw and outdoors shows
Kung Flu Fighter you ignored the comedy acts and fictional rural setting with characters who were based on folks the creators knew
One the guests on the Red Green Show was a character from Hee-Haw. His name was Charlie Farquharson, played, both on Hee-Haw and Red Green, by the late and great Canadian comic Don Harron (1924-2015). On Hee-Haw, Charlie was the anchor man for the K-O-R-N News radio segment. What made Charlie so funny was that there was always malapropisms when he speaks.
He should have included "until death do you part".
I hope those that watch this show just like me won't get charged.
The Toyota Clam

A truck full of burgers tipped over the Lodge and Red transforms the Lodge into a drive thru and Red builds a hybrid car out of 2 golf carts and satellite dishes and Ranger Gord makes a cartoon about avalanches

It was a great show I miss it.
