@Ikarus Let me get this straight; you think PvZ is unbalanced ignoring the fact that Zerg is arguably the weakest of the three factions, arguably the most challenging to play in comparison to mid-late Protoss and MMM Terrans AND that Hatcheries should have a ridiculous fucking cost increase because one of the best Zerg players in the world beat someone playing your favorite faction? I play both Terran and Zerg, and I have NOTHING but absolute respect for those players that can be as creative and dominating with the Zerg as Jaedong.
PvZ is imbalanced in the fact that their endgame deathball is unstoppable. But what people don't realize, is that zerg has to prevent that endgame deathball. No game is unbalanced, we just have not found a way around it. This is exactly what happened in the original starcraft, Boxer came around and showed that terran actually was somewhat good.
HungryFellhound except the typical toss deathball, which includes a few rays and tempests and a few oracles for revelation, none of which the units you mentioned can kill :P but yea, SH/corruptor/viper should do the trick

Matthias Olmutz what do you mean with similar? Similar skill level? or similar playstyle? The 2 best zergs have a complete different playstyle ( Dark and Life ). And they are atm probably the only 2 that can compete with the other races
I have never seen Muta-Baneling in ZvP before. That's creative. Man, First is a good player, but Jaedong made him look like a bitch in this game. It really felt like while First used a lot of the same strategies over and over, Jaedong used a wildly different strategy in every single game. The variety made him unpredictable, First just didn't know what to do. Wow, it is not often you see a semi-final best of 5 match end in less than 45 minutes, Jaedong truly is a tyrant.
1) there are other zerg champion! for example scarlett who did very well in the wcs this year! 2) there is no *weakest* race,starcraft 2 is known for its balanced races
Terran is OP. Make a bunch of marines, always heal them and nothing can defeat you. No ultralisks, no coloses will really be able to defeat that, since they don't heal at all or that effectively. Marines is the cheapest and stronger army you can get. Costs no gas, ranged, insane dps.....OP at it''s best.
I'm a protoss fan but First made way too many mistakes. No phoenixes or storms to counter the mutalisks, as well as leaving holes in Forcefield walls to keep the grounded zerg at bay, and then later on blinking stalkers into groups of banelings. The outcome is as it ended up being.

Zerg can win any matchup and is definately the highest potential race in sc2. if zergs would step up their micro that stupid marine micro wouldnt matter anymore. drops wouldnt matter. zerg strength is equivalent to the speed of the player. EVERYONE knows counters etc. its whoever has the most apm to put towards the micro and jaedong used to be so fast no one could catch him, back in BW that is.

Including the replacement cost of the drone, it costs 350. Depending on how you figure lost mining time, it's not that far off from an effective cost of 400.

Noah Blevins I believe a swarm host/hydra/corruptor army counters the deathball pretty well with good enough positioning.
