What car was this? And was it a cracked flex plate?
88 Camaro. Ashamed to say, it was actually the torque converter bolts had loosened up slightly. Hadnt had any issues in 12 years, but they started to come loose. We pulled them out, put some loctite on and torqued them back down and its good to go.
