И дело даже не в фантастическом голосе и феноменальном контроле над ним, а в том, что Диане доступны такие миры, где спазм в животе, мороз по коже, срывание крыши и внезапное неумение дышать -- обычное дело. И в этих мирах Диана не такая же гостья, как и слушатель, а хозяйка.

Божечки, кошечки, что я услышала, это же нереально, это просто голос из параллельной вселенной. Бесподобно, просто фантастика, видела некоторые выступления дианы, но это выше всех похвал. Сердце просто замирала от потрясающего тембра.

Это старая ритуальная песня о невесте-сироте.
У девочки нет родителей. Река считалась
границей между миром живых и
миром мертвых. Она идет к реке и просит
благословения на брак, она говорит, что дома много
людей, но нет ни отца, ни матери.
Вы слышите, как Диана поет шепотом, это
слова покойной матери невесты. А потом
девушка начинает плакать. В России на свадьбах пели грустные песни
, чтобы отпугнуть зло, и брак молодой пары
был счастливым. Такие песни назывались " плач.” Фигура
за спиной Дианы стоят духи воды и леса.
Это фольклор, и песня имеет глубокий смысл. Раньше река считалась потусторонним местом, соединяющим живых и мертвых. И девочка-сирота приходит к реке просить благословения и защиты у реки (то есть к покойной матери), так как она выходит замуж за нелюбимого. И она страдает от горя, что нет никого, чтобы защитить или благословить ее.
"Реченька" - это очень-очень древняя русская народная песня, и ее мелодия характерна для русской дохристианской певческой культуры, тогда русские жили в полной гармонии с Матерью-Природой. Лирика содержит много архаизмов, но они очень веселы для русского уха и понятны также. Она пробуждает самые глубокие струны русской души и культурного генетического кода. Это как будто выворачивает нас наизнанку.
Эта песня имеет совершенно другой смысл в исполнении Дианы. Финал изменился. Это не свадебная песня. Это просто крик. Это отказ от отца и матери, которые хотят отдать свою дочь без ее желания человеку, которого она не любит.

When I first heard Diana Ankudinova i got associations to her being a shaman.
She presented us a level of consciousness where we don’t have words because we don’t need any words there.
So much charisma! So much talent! Some things we can not express with words, but the body knows and we can feel it.

She is living the songs she is singing and the passion is right in front of you. What a diamond. I've never heard such a beautiful sound in my life. I love her completely!
When Diana Ankudinova sang this song, she was fifteen years old. This remarkable girl had a horrible childhood. A real mother almost killed Diana in the bathtub when she was 3 years old, and a few months later she threw her out on the street in the winter, so Diana spent two years in an orphanage and didn’t say a word during that time because she lost ability to speak. When she was 5 years old, she was adopted by an employee of this orphanage and taken to a singing teacher on the advice of friends. Diana first started singing, and only later did she start speaking again. She was lucky to be taken care of by extremely sensitive people who kept her alive and made her a star that will shine on Earth for all of us for many years to come! You can hear the results of her soul surviving a horrific trauma in her way of singing, which she turned into something ingenious!
