Do you just sew in the ends once you complete one of the sides? Also, what's the lighter for? When do you use it?

Hey there, yes, if you finished the side, just sew in the ends. The lighter is used to burn/ melt the ends of the yarn because if you work with this special yarn (rope yarn) the ends won't stop opening up if you don't do it. :)

How many grams of yarn you used for this bag?

Hey there, I use 2 wool Balls of 200 grams each / about 140m in lenght. You won't need them in total for the bag but will have a remainder from which you can then make a hand loop :)
