garymichael74 yes you do, because they need to put the monies into an account to process.

do they charge you for the prepaid card? lets say for a few months I make no deliveries will they charge me for the prepaid card?
I got VISA business card instead of VISA Debit. So the difference between these two? BTW I cannot activate indenfier codes.

Anyone have any understanding on how Postmates works? I applied for it on Thurs 6/14 got the card today already! I'm confused on how to use the card, and activate. Not much of a welcome kit if it doesn't include a thorough instructions or a welcome letter telling you your apart of the fleet family explaining how the system works. Pretty strange if you ask me. But if anyone knows how to explain to me what to do on the card I'd appreciate it it. Like how do I get paid if the customers are paying for the food?
Jason Standeford assuming you now have a Postmates account, you’ll activate your card as I describe which will be linked to your bank account. Now the card is how the food is paid for when you pick up the food to be delivered and after delivery you’ll be credited to your linked bank account! Hope this helps.
Unbox Flix but how am I paid? The ads online say paid hrly but the comments in the app say it's $4/5 per minute or whatever I'm just trying figure how to get payed. Like I don't have a clear understanding I get the basics of how the meals work now. It's just the pay system isn't detailed anywhere very clearly, and there is no welcome kit to explain anything as far as payments go

It is prepaid through your card, but this links to your bank account so you get paid

Jose López yes you need the card so customers can pay for the food through that card. When you get the card it needs to be linked to your bank account so you get paid too. 7-10 days for delivery of card.

The cards are issued without your actual names on it, just a sequence of numbers
