We just don't have very many farmers in our area that do wrapped bales for hayledge. Most of our hay is baled and sold in net wrapped rounds with a 5x5 being the most common size. In Kansas ... just across the state line a lot of the hay is done in the big squares.

I Will. I am watching and learning from Nova Scotia, Canada. I always enjoy your videos, and the time that you take to respond to my queries. Once again I have questions. These are by no means negative, just curiosity. In today's video you demonstrated how bales are wrapped. I do you understand the purpose of wrapping in plastic, some of my favorite UA-camrs these days are farmers. However, I could not help but notice the amount of plastic in each bale, can you tell me how many meters of plastic are in each bale? Are there any products being developed for the future that will serve the same purpose but use less plastic? And finally, how is this plastic disposed of?
