I used to hear vishnusahastranam rendered by late Smt.Kishoriji Amonkar daily in the morning.
I did not know who was the singer.I thought oh this is a divine voice!My brother read the names of all the great singers in that collection which I had not read due to my busy routine then.He told me that it was Smt.Amonkar's voice!Today I realised after reading all the comments by learned people here what my soul could sense about her voice was true.Yes.Divinity!
