Everyone should consider career in automotive field, Focus on research papers, projects, technologies rather than academics which increases more in depth knowledge, and helps in getting job. I'm 2 year Btech. Automobile student, within 3 semester I've made 2 research papers, and I found Automobile as really interesting field as their are lots of things to discover and lots of opportunities in this field.

    • @infinity2355

That's your way of looking at things
The only reason why I am telling people to explore other fields because getting an admit in English taught Automotive in Germany is very difficult.
I am not saying that there are no opportunities in this field.
What I meant is people can still work in Automotive even though they studied something else. For eg Masters in Manufacturing Technology can get you a job in an Automotive company where you work for the Manufacturing Plant of that Automobile manufacturer. You can apply that your manufacturing expertise there. Similarly, if you studied something related to Electronics you can work in an Automotive company where you work in their e-mobility department. Automotive Industry requires engineers from different disciplines which are easier to get in here in Germany. There are only 4 out of the 380 Universities in Germany which offer the English taught course in Automotive Engineering. There are people applying to those universities from all over the world and they have limited seats like around 30-40 max. And looking at the population of India not everyone is gonna get a seat there especially the ones who did their Bachelors from Tier 3 colleges.
Also only 2 universities require you to submit a GRE score. GRE exam costs around ₹16000 and not everyone could afford that. And in my opinion it's not worth to invest so much when the competition is already high and someone is from a Tier 3 college.
I want to help people out from my own experience not to demean 'Automotive Engineering'.
If Automotive has lots of opportunities so do other fields that is my point
Everyone should consider a career in Automotive field is something which I don't believe in.
Edit- Here's a video which I made explaining the Automotive shit
I don't know how many times do I have to repeat myself 😅

@@infinity2355Remember that Automotive is not just cars. It is also motorcycles, busses, Trucks, Tractors, construction vehicles, military vehicles and there we have good companies in Germany like Liebherr, MAN, Daimler Trucks, Volvo Trucks, Fendt, John Deer, Claas, BMW Motorcycles Group, Rheinmetall Defense Vehicles.
And there you can also start with a degree in Automotive engineering especially in autonomous driving, safety systems, electric motors, frame, vehicle electronics

I'm currently pursuing my BE degree in Automobile Engineering, I'm in Third Year of my course and planning to do masters in germany. I have a few questions in that regard

Sir, I am graduated in B.Tech Mechanical Engg. in June 2021, internship in a milk plant and no work experience. I have 6.5 bands in IELTS, done in Jan 2022. My question is am I eligible to take admission in Msc automotive engg? Do I need something else for admission like german fluency or more?

    • @infinity2355
      @infinity2355  2 роки тому

      Hey there!
      Thanks for the question!
You need not address me by 'Sir' please... the Britishers are long gone from India now :)
If you are NOT from IITs getting an admission from an English taught Automotive Engineering course is extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely difficult!
The system here in Germany is different. For applying to any University you need to have documents which vary from University to University and sometimes from course to course in the same university.
For your question of eligibility: of course you're eligible to apply to Automotive courses. If the university demands you to submit a German language certificate then you have to, but it depends upon the University you're applying to. So you need to check the requirements. It's not that you have a General list of documents which you have and then can apply to any University. The application documents changes from University to University.
Also out of approx 380 universities in Germany only 4 universities offer 'English taught' course in Automotive Engineering. And please keep in mind the population of India is 1.3 billion with large no of students applying to english taught program in Automotive. Also those 4 universities receive applications not only from India but the entire world. So that's the competition you're facing. And that is what I explained in this video itself. And that's the reason why I explained clearly in the video to explore other amazing fields.
      I hope this helps :)
      All the very best!!

Dear Sir, Thanks for making nice vedio and guidance . I understood your point.
I need you input on following points
    Background:
Having experience 10 years in automotive R&D and due to technology changes from IC engine to electrical vehicle (EV). Want to do MS in Germany with top university
    Kindly guide
    1. Which test score card required
    2. Name of university which famous for automotive engineering in English
    3. Is Germane language compulsory?

    • @infinity2355
      @infinity2355  3 роки тому +1

Hey Amit! You need not call me sir!
That's a great and a brave decision of switching back to academics after so many years!
Well to answer your question I would suggest you to Google 'Daad'. Then go to international Programmes and on that page you can enter the course you wanna pursue and the search result will give the names of all the universities which offer that course!
Speaking about 'score card' requirement, it varies from university to university. All the universities in Germany require different set of documents, most of which are almost same. There are no 'standardized' documents which you can tell, instead those vary from university to university and also sometimes from course to course in the same university!
There are very few universities in Germany which offer English taught master course in Automotive Engineering, as a result of which the competition is extremely high looking at our country's own population!
A few universities which I can name are-
      RWTH Aachen- Automotive Engineering
      Requires GRE score
      FH Aachen- Automotive Engineering
Requires GRE score and also B1 level German
      TH Ingolstadt- Automotive Engineering
I don't remember what documents are needed, they are also mentioned on the university's site. Also I ain't sure if the course name is correct, maybe it's International Automotive Engineering.
Esslingen University of Applied Sciences- Automotive Engineering.
Again the course name can vary and this particular university offers some Design and Development in Automotive engineering course as well. This university is hardest to get in from my knowledge and experience because the number of seats from what I heard are around 25. And they cannot admit only Indians but people of different nationality as well. So they have a fixed criteria of admitting a particular no of students from a particular country. And many people from India apply to this university making it the most competitive to get in!
Also one thing I remember but ain't sure that this course requires you to submit 3 letters of recommendation.
      TU Kaiserslautern- Commercial Vehicle Technology
From my experience this university is relatively easier to get in. But they require A2 level German Geothe certificate
There can be more universities which i don't remember at the moment. Also you can see that each university require different set of documents, so you need to prepare accordingly.
Visit Daad website and you will find all the universities and the documents required for the respective courses!
      I hope this helps :)
      All the very best!!

    • @infinity2355
      @infinity2355  3 роки тому

@@AmitKumar-bz5gu Again each and every university has a different requirement.
Many universities in Germany do not ask for a GRE score, only few of the universities ask for it and that too depends upon the course!
For eg RWTH Aachen Automotive Engineering requires you to submit a GRE score, whereas Esslingen University does not ask for a GRE score. So it depends upon the university you are applying!
IELTS/TOEFL is mostly asked by the universities and it's better to have an IELTS/TOEFL score

Bro what is the required(not minimum) grades for CAME RWTH Aachen.
And other simulation courses in TU9.

    • @infinity2355
      @infinity2355  3 роки тому +1

If you have above 7.5 cgpa then you are on a safer side for CAME. But admission also depends upon many other variables!
At my time people with grades around this range and good work experience (not necessarily related to this field) got an admit. But they had some experience in simulation related field. There is always some way to showcase your interest. There is no defined path that if you follow that you would get it. Also this year I noticed that the IntAc gave admissions to students (for the course Robosys) having grades as low as 6.5 Earlier this was not possible as robosys had people with very high grades. It depends upon the admission committee and this usually happens for paid courses because you are a customer for the university to earn money. I can go on and on, on this but it's of no use.
Simulation Sciences courses which are free require very good profile. Now if I tell you the grade and if you don't have that then you would get discouraged (but still you might have chance to get in) and if you have that you would get overconfident that you would get it(but when you apply they reject you)
That is the gamble with Automotive or simulation science courses especially in TU9!
For simulation in TU9 it's safe to have around 8.0! Now it can happen that some guy got into simulation even though he did not have that required grade. Then it might be the case that, that person had a good experience in that field and was able to "convince" the admission committee by his cover letter.
So, of you have a cgpa in the range of 7.0 to 8.0 or above then you have every chance BUT no guarantee of getting into a "free" course.
I hope that I was able to answer your question properly. I wish you all the very best🙌🏽

    • @infinity2355
      @infinity2355  3 роки тому +1

      Hii bhai
For your first question, it depends upon the deadline of the application. I applied 3 days before the deadline because I took that much of time to prepare my documents.
If you want to apply for winter semester 2022 then you should apply by February latest. This applied to universities having deadlines in the month of March. Some universities also have deadlines in April, so for these you can still apply in the month of February if your documents are ready.
In my opinion, earlier you apply, the better! It won't have any impact on "chances" of getting an admit! Universities check all the applications they recieve and then give out their decision. So even if you apply on the day of deadline, the university would treat your application equally compared to the ones recieved earlier!
The above applies to almost all the universities in Germany.
      For your second question- Nope
Universities make their decision and then publish their results on a particular day. It's just like 10 th or 12 th board exam results. Like even if you submit you exam early, the board will always publish results of all students on one particular day, isn't it?
Covid has impacted a lot of jobs. I don't know how has it impacted the field you asked for. In my opinion, if you like it you should go with industrial or production. I don't think so that covid has impacted it so much. And anyways by the time you would complete your masters many things would have already changed by that time and I hope so we wouldn't have any covid at that time.
One thing I would like to add here is that for Production jobs German is very very very important. If you couldn't speak German, it is very difficult to get a job.
      Hope this helps :)

The requirements to get into universities vary from University to University.
You need to check the individual requirements of exams and the German language requirements of each and every university.

You can find the names of other on Daad.de

      @@Vishu2711 Hey bhai
      Don't call me sir :)
I am glad that you got my point, I just want to help you out.
      Okay, let me explain you.
      Every field is important.
Now the field you are talking about is Automotive. The "trend" which is now the highest in Automotive sector is Electric vehicles and Autonomous vehicles and both of these fields require extensive programming skills.
Believe me Design is shitttt. It only works in third world countries because the developed nations outsource this kind of stupid work to them!
I will again tell you to explore more but this time I will give you a direction.
      Search for-
      Digitization in Production
      Artificial Intelligence in Production
      Automation in Production
      Additive Manufacturing
      Industry 4.0
      Smart factories
The knowledge which you will gain can be used into Automotive sector if you still want to get into that shithole :)
I will repeat again- getting into English taught Automotive in Germany is very very very difficult, because even people from IITs apply there and if you are from IIT you can have shot at it!

talk nicely no...why mocking Automobile engineering...if people want to pursue it let them pursue why are you trying to create a confusion in their head....i believe you didnt get admission in automobile engineering in germany and started mocking it

@@saviobcardoso3986 I ain't mocking any field of Engineering
I ain't stopping anyone from pursuing the course of study of their interest. I am just trying to share insights so that people can take better decisions. If sharing insights creates a confusion for you then I think it's better to reflect your decision making ability.
I never applied to Automotive Engineering, rather I had chance to study several modules from Automotive, but I didn't because I got more and more interested in the field I chose.
I wish you all the very best :)
