This trip to Battle Creek, the 'live' Del Shannon documentary, the concert coverage (including your participation) and this addition of Del Shannon exhibits in the museum has been great! As you said Jordan, Del was really big over here in the U.K. Many thanks Jordan and Katie.
Love that song at the end of your videos, Jordan. The guitar playing reminds me of Jah frolicking in the dog parks when you and him created memories in California. ❤🐾Now you and Katie are creating great memories together for sure. ❤💎God bless you, Katie and Jah ❤🙏⭐✨
Jordan, so much enjoying your Del Shannon videos - I still have my first 45rpm record which I bought when I was 11 years old: Runaway, by Del Shannon. Not sure why I bought that record as opposed to others available at that time...something I really liked about that song! And of course, kudos to James and his personal pursuit of respecting and elevating Del's legacy.
Del Shannon lived in Northridge, California, and my friend lived next door to him. Tom Petty would go by frequently, as Dell had a studio out back of his house to jam in. I only saw him one time, myself. Thanks for the vlog!
I always wondered if Bon Jovi’s “She’s a Little Runaway” was inspired by Del Shannon’s “Runaway.”
This was great! Runaway was a hit in 1961...the year i was born.
Hi Jordan & Katie you tube channel Love my favorite one fan BIG Museum 💖 💖🎶
Thanks was awesome video I enjoyed watching
Great vlog Jordan, I met and played 2 shows with Del in Dallas a month before he passed, he was a wonderful person
Thanks Jordan and Katie. I’m enjoying the famous musician’s life stories, places they performed and lived in. Very sad that they were so talented; and for whatever reason they ended their lives. 😞
Loved Del Shannon big part of my youth
Run run run runaway❤️I think Jeff Lynne helped him record and produce
Tom Petty mentions Del Shannon in his song Running Down a Dream.
Thanks sharing
Thanks to you Jordan and Katie keep them coming
Another good one, learned a lot about Del, Thanks Jordan & Katie!
Thank you ever so much Jordan , it's was so fabulous to see Del's personal belongings and stage clothes, the interview was so wonderful to know more information about this life Many Thanks Rodders 🥁🎸🇬🇧🇬🇧 from west Yorkshire UK 🏴🏴🦁🦁🦁
Omg Bobby Holly he never ages
He literally shook every person's hand in the room, amd introduced himself to the few that didn't know him.. what a guy!
Jordan are you going to do anything on Shelly Duval she passed away July 11th 2024
No, I'm sure the other ghouls on youtube will be waiting for them to bury her to rush over there.. I believe in a grace period before swooping in like the other vultures.
Right on Jordan
Well said, let the buzzards pick at the bones, your a good soul for letting the soil settle......
Hi Jordan, my name is Tim I played guitar for Del that night in 1986 at the Kellogg arena. I was wondering if you had contact info for James Popenhagen... the reason being is I am looking for photos of that night.... Dels guitar broke down while we were live and he had to use mine. Would love to find a picture of that...I still have the guitar. Thanks!🎸
My family actually got to see Dale Shannon live
You should have gone in the free coopersville museum they have a couple of his awards, a suit of his and his childhood guitar
Nice 😊

🎼🎵🎶🎵
I'm sorry I missed it, is james his son?
We were family but not by blood, just extremely close with Del and his family since way back in the 1950’s before he became the star that he did. His wife and children are just like family to me and my wife. They’ve all stayed with us many times and the door is always open to the Westover’s/Shannon’s.
Enjoyed the museum tour and seeing Jr Walker’s son being interviewed as well. So sad he left us the way he did but we still have the memories he left behind ❤🙏🎸🎼💐
