🌲 Hello and welcome to Holmåkra 22! 🌲
A new series that mainly will be focused around forestry and logging! With different setups, mods, etc.
In this episode, we'll try out the modded version of the Rottne F20D Forwarder with extendable body to arrange all the logs we made in the previous episode into a few large piles so they are easily loadable for a truck later on when we have to transport all the logs to the sawmill.

Been doing this on console since finding your vids about 2 months ago. Very rocky start, but now were felling and moving acres a day. Its a blast man.

i’m trying to log like this on console, how do you keep your FPS up? as soon as i get so many logs down (which isn’t much) my fps just drops. I have an xbox one s

Picturing doing this on console. 10 minutes in, I’ve set the field on fire and the loader is in the water and save file just about deleted :) great video, jokes aside I do enjoy logging it just takes a few moments longer.
Yea, I bet! Consoles are cool, but they are limited to a few buttons in comparison to PCs. =D

Watching you play makes me wanna start a save on Holmåkra myself! Just wondering how the tree physics are on the map. Do the trees “feel to light” and just float around in the pile or any other wonky stuff?
Hmm now and then a few logs will act kinda weird but nothing to bad. But i also think it depends on the equipment. I can highly recommend the Rottne F20D from Modhub (The one used in this video) The grapple feels amazing.

Surprised that the logs dont freak out when grabbing multiple. I always have to go one by one since they want to just flop around.
My plan was actually to use the Ponsse forwarder for this video, but for some reason the logs was kinda floating in the air when grabbing them. :P So i went with the Rottne instead without any problems really. =D
next doing grapes on the where you use the yarder?
Could be fun to find a slope for grapes at some point :D But i need powerlines to run where i used the yarder hehe

Yea i use dual joysticks and steering wheel! =) I might look into making a video showcasing my bindings

what trees are these? normaly the trees are moving by themselves not playable in vanilla
I think the creator of Holmåkra made his own custom trees. =)

Not yet, sorry! I will see if i can setup a discord server one of these days, so i can share what mods i use etc. with you guys. =) The only mod used in this video tho is the Rottne forwarder that you can find on the officially modhub.
