Fitting gt turbo mouldings to the starlet, drilling holes and figuring it out

In todays video we mount all of the freshly painted moulding brackets to the starlet and fit the panels, I show how I removed all of the factory plastic clips and replace them with m6 rivnuts for easier fitting and removal in the future. And we drill lots of holes in my poor car. You can also see how we used grease to give us a guide as to where to drill the holes for the door mouldings.

Reminds me of the state the brackets were on my car, well what was left of them lol. impossible to find replacements! Had to make new ones from scratch... but your is slowly coming together, great work!

I was very lucky to find a set in good enough condition, hopefully after sandblasting and fresh paint they will hold together for another few years 😅

Hey Aidan, I know Tommy Carey just got in another Gt for breaking in Newcastle west, you can find him and his ads on Facebook! Iv gotten a few bits from him over the past few months, you could always make up some simple brackets to hold the kit too if you can’t find them. Thanks for watching ✌️
