Nice to see you laughing so hard at this. Roots Manuva moved different man has crazy charisma. Should check his track with Chali 2na (Jurassic 5) ‘Join the Dots’ 🔥
American egg producers wash the eggs with chemicals which removes a protective layer, that's why you guys need to refrigerate your eggs. Normally laid eggs that aren't washed can stay at room tempreture for quite a few weeks.
Also add that I would consider roots as part of the second wave of UK hip hop. The first wave contained people like silver bullet, cookie crew, hijack, London posse, gunshot and a few others
You hit the nail on the head when you talked about rappers not having any fun. Seems like nowadays there's the OG gangsters and people who are so desperate to LOOK like a gangster that anything in between has disappeared.
facts I even myself am currently struggling with this. haven taken myself so seriously in my music for so long wanting to ad more fun I have no idea where to start.
@@Jurnalist_ There needs to be a revival of music like De La Soul and A Tribe Called quest were making. Rap doesn't have to always be "hood" to be good, who were the last people who were big and not worried about that? Outkast maybe?
Roots Manuva is a legend, I got into a couple of albums of his in the late 90's. He was around before Grime and Drill in the UK. I recommend reacting to Join the Dots FT Chali 2na.
There’s a lot of American fun hip hop videos, they’re bigger budgets but remember Busta Rhymes in the late 90’s, early 2000’s. His videos were always funny. Ludacris and Missy Elliott too. I think Dizzee Rascal is the closest we have in the UK to those types of music videos. And seeing as it’s Halloween season, you might wanna check out Dizzee Rascal - Couple of Stacks. That’s a wild music video, perfect for a Halloween reaction.
Proper OG Legend! Nice to remember music being fun! Try some Blak Twang, Outdaville, Klashnekov, Jehst, Skinnyman, Terrafirma. Karl Hinds - Don Grammer is like a U.K. Big L Ebonics type shit from early ‘90s.
Check out Dreamy Days by Roots Manuva, another classic from back in the day. I'd also recommend 'Distorted Minds' by Hexstatic featuring Juice Aleem ✌️
You do know that whole video is a joke don't you and not remotely serious? I think the UK humour gets lost across the pond sometimes. We don't need to refrigerate the eggs because it can cause condensation in the egg and salmonella to form.
The eggs are a Rocky reference. When Rocky's training in the movies he eats lots of raw eggs. Man's going for the title, needs that protein.
Ahhhh I didn’t even think of that.
You actually had me crying!! So enjoying your journey
Bless. Thank you for allowing me to go on the journey

Features on Skitz - Countryman. Worth more than a listen
His album "run come save me" is in my top 10 UK rap albums of all time. Glad you got to this legend.

Rap didn’t use to be about being hard. 90s rap was the golden age for a reason, rappers showed their personality
One hope, one quest.. 🎵 🎵

Absolute banging tune and probably the funniest music video of all time 😂
Eggs absorb all the smells and flavours that are in the fridge I only found this out a few years ago when watching some cooking programs
This is a uk gem. Big up ukmtv base and trevor Nelson. 👏

@@pitmatix1457 I feel you and I hope to help push the forward but the game is a dirty one to be played.

Swords In The Dirt with Skinnyman was my one off that album, proper Wu Tang vibes...
