The fact that he was often playing as the single pivot at 21 years old at Marseille is crazy. He nailed down that role, offensively and defensively, which most players only learn how to do at 25 or older. I'm a big fan of him and as a Man Utd fan, I was gutted when we didn't buy him. Super player!

Been saying this since before season started he is our most important player not for goals and assists which all the glory hunters like for stats bit this guy has the composure of a seasoned professional and he is so young kamara is my favourite player for villa so tenacious and class on the ball he will leave us though and play for a top club like real madrid etc

He is an amazing player and vital to our style of play and will only get better. Can’t help thinking if we change our formation next year, 3 across the back as you have mentioned in previous casts and two disrupters in midfield, imagine him and Kalvin Phillips playing together freeing up McGinn and Dougie to be attacking minded and better placed to break the low block…..!

This player is key to villa , if you watch Kamara when we are off the ball he is the lynch pin of our shape and protecting defenders. Dougie luiz is half the player when Kamara is not on the pitch Dougie has the freedom when Kamara is holding the shape around him.
My one critism of him is sometimes gets caught out on the ball to long but he will improve here

We missed him a lot and you can tell. I reckon we could've lost against Everton without him, but with him we keep a clean sheet. Makes me SO confident going forward since I feel like we might be about to go on a long unbeaten streak. Joint-second on points still in the league and 3 points clear for a top 4 positon. Hope he doesn't get anymore silly red cards and we could very easily maintain and even improve this position! UTV
P.S. My favorite players are Emi Martinez, Douglas Luiz, and Leon Bailey. Bailey because he's such a loveable guy and so fun to watch, Luiz because he's phenomenal as a player, and Martinez because he's such a supervillain for the other teams to play against, just love watching him in goal

I've wanted a cerebral, elegant CDM for a long time. It's my favorite position to observe and great one's, that check all the boxes are hard to come by. He's been my favorite player since he came in, it's obvious how integral he is in our side, not just defensively, but freeing up teammates to do what they do best. I've probably created ear bleeds singing his praises to mates that support other clubs. I've been waiting for a piece on Bouba for while, thank you. Up The Mighty Villa!!

Karama is a very good player We need to hold on to him. He also brings the best out of Luiz and he's always so calm and composed no matter the situation. Villa have gone really quiet again in the Transfer window it's very strange. Great episode
As bad as Gerrard was in the short time he was our manager, I'll always be thankful for him managing to convince kamara to sign for us when we all know at the time he had numerous other clubs trying to sign him!! Getting him was a amazing signing!! UTV
The game against City was perfect to highlight his attributes. He would be in the opposition half more if that space was available. City only really have that space occupied when in possession and the fullback comes in. It must have been a real shock to Pep to see Kamara filling those spaces.
If his ability to read the game was appreciated, that would considered prior. Instead he's seen as the "DM" that will do the same thing every game.
I'm still on the Luiz train myself. Luiz controls a game more in possession where Kamara controls a game more out of possession. Luiz can control the speed of the game where Kamara is the best at dealing with the speed of a game that we have not instigated.

For me playing a holding centre of midfield is a very disciplined position you are a link up player to the back four & the forwards it’s knowing when to hold your position or go forward he’s a brilliant player for us xx 👏

Because i can only think of 1 DM over the years who was positionally good without having to chase.. can u guess who im talkikg about?? Yes i would say he`s even more important to how we play than even Douglas Luis. This is why we really suffered in those 3 Premier league games he was suspended for. With him in the team we would probably have beaten Man Utd and Sheffield Utd. But doesn`t this make it even more imperative that we sign a similar midfielder in their mid to early 20s who will have the legs and ability to replace him?? if he gets injured or suspended our season could well be ruined. Also would love to see what Tim Iroegum could offer in that position. Tielemans and Dendoncker don`t have the legs to do what he does, and switching Mcginn Or Douglas Luis to his position doesn`t work because they are not as good defensively.

Only decent thing Gerrard did signing him, I’d rather sell Luiz than Kamara Youri could do what Luiz does IMO, I think we’ll lose him in the summer, but agree Kamara is key bit like Rodri with city they didn’t win without him in the team

He's probably our most prized asset, I'd put him above Dougie and Ollie in terms of value. My only worry is that we're gonna have to sell one of Kamara or Dougie in the summer if we want to stay in line with all this profit and sustainability. Would hate to see either go, but if I had a choice I'd krep Kamara, that's how good he is.

We are well within ffp. Our buying and selling has been spot on. Free transfers. Selling youngsters with a buy back claus. Bringing in players on loan and buying youth. All have little to no impact. We're comfotable from what i can make out with plenty of wiggle room to buy in the summer. If we sell Dougie it will be because he wants to go.
Dougie would fetch more on the market if we were selling.
@outofthetrash5925 depends who we're selling to, Dougie is in his prime now so he'd be more wanted by most teams. A team like Chelsea would easily pay £80-90mil for Kamara though, we could milk them 😂
@@az90utv42 Transfer values are determined more by position and an overall, none substantiated concensus of a player.
Dougie is starting to get some public recognition amd all recognition is only amplified by the people that know the game.
Say if Klopp wanted to buy both of them, he would know that Kamara offers him as much as Dougie does (all be it in different aspects). But the base line of the value is a perception of people that don't actually understand the game or the player as well as he would. In part that can come down to the commercial aspects of owning a player but definitely not all of it.
Caecado is worth over £100m mostly because his meteoric rise bypassed any public confirmation bias and everyone was only able to say he's a great player. Add to that the obviousness off his work in the fact that he gets around the pitch a lot and the concensus is easy to establish. No One knew of him before 1 season at Brighton, but there was nothing outside of that to stop him being worth the £4m Brighton paid for him.
I think as a baseline, that perception or public feeling of a player made created innpart because Dougie plays more with the ball and is forward more often, starts the value of Dougie at a higher amount than Kamara - whether or not me and you consider their value to our team as equal.
Personally for me, Dougie is a £100m to start discussions with the fee needed to get him out made even higher by us both not needing to sell and having aspirations.
I think baseline value for Kamar is £80 - £90m with the fee needed to get him out going over the £100m mark for the same reasons as above.
So yes, Kamara is a £100m player when the fact he's playing for us is factered in. He could be doing the same job at a less ambitious mid table club and be gotten for £80m. Likewise were he already at a Liverpool, he'd already be at £125m valuation.
I think Dougie is a £100m player at any PL club with the fact he's at Villa increasing the amount needed to get him out at 25% again. Those same performances at a Liverpool would make him a £150m rated player with the understanding that he's going nowhere anyway.
Let's face it, both could be playing together and to the same level in say la liga or the Bundesliga and neither would cost more than £60m to obtain. It's all market perception.

Hey Villans I’m sorry, he’s a decent player with an high IQ but can be very clumsy, seen him caught on the ball in few occasions, all in all a very tidy player but not yet an $100m or one of the best DM’s ITW in my opinion, tbf no midfielder is actually worth that amount including rice, Caicedo and Enzo!
To caveat my comments, he might be one of the best in the league but not in the world.
