What a fantastic instrumental tune! It has a melody so beautiful, and at the same time, is a real great tune to dance to. Even the birds in the video couldn't help tapping their feet lol. +ksm198002 Hi there,yes it's a great number again from the Shadows,I read somewhere that they had more hits in the 60's in their own right than they did together with Cliff,not sure how true that is,but they certainly sold a lot of records !..Thanks for watching,I see you've been busy on a couple more of my videos,I'd better get round to them next.lol..

Whenever I went to the cinema with my father as there used to be two films and at the interval and as we were going out of the cinema they always played this tune from The Shadows of The Foot Tapper as they were playing it all till we were going back home again as we used to get the blue electric train from Alexandra Parade to Anniesland Station or to get the number 60 bus as it has came back as it goes straight to The Clydebank Shopping Centre but the whole cinema is closed down now but this was the tune that they were playing in the interval till the second movie came on and when it was finished as we were going home too
Great video! I seem to remember "The Old Grey Whistle Test" used to compile old film segments and show with a modern track. A forerunner of the videos we know today.
I can't stop singing the duh, duh, duhs, to any of song, by The Shadows, as they play them, at my favourite football team, Barnsley F.C.'s home games, at Oakwell, before the players come out of the dressing rooms. I wonder why Hank Marvin hasn't been Knighted yet, he is a legend. ⚽⚽⚽
Michael Asquith yeah agree a legend ...maybe he hasn’t been knighted because he is a Jehovah’s Witness ,same as Bruce Welch ..don’t think they believe in that stuff and it’s the Church of England who knights

I was listening to this in 1976 on vinyl through a bush record player with two speakers. Haha. Brilliant. And I love the Charlie Chaplin sync. Haha.
