Chaoba Thiyam is a respected multidisciplinary artist, established bandleader, and an independent researcher. He has a prolific discography comprising of alternative folk releases. With his folk ensemble, SIYOM, he has performed at various venues in and outside India. For this session, he has incorporated a children choir made entirely of displaced children (resulting from the Manipur ethnic conflict) currently residing at Mekola Relief Camp.
