All About Color Transfer!! I receintly just noticed some color transfer on my Louis Vuitton Alma BB in Rose Ballerine and wanted to share it with you guys including what products I used to cleant it! Even though it didn't remove my color transfer I still hope it can help you to clean your bags and remove some of your color transfers. It has worked for many stains and color transfers on other people's handbags so I just hope this will be helpful for you. Please share if you successfully got your color transfer removed from your patent leather handbag :)

The handbag came in perfect condition except for one tiny flaw on the lock but not noticeable. At least better than the one I returned. You and Angel do really great vlogs. Thank you and hope to see more of your videos soon!

Thank you for this video! Ignore negative people they just don't understand. I have the Sarah wallet in rose ballerina and it has had colour transfer from being inside a handbag with a dark lining. Devastating! I think this is only noticeable to me but not to others so I suppose you must keep this in mind and still enjoy your bag! As others have said, it is the prettiest colour :)

+kat 44 When you look online they show the picture of the old style, but when you call them they say they only make the new one with no gold plate in the front. I'm also having a very bad experience with the purchase of the Key Cle! It has been held up in customs for over 10 days now 😖

I'm so confused now about getting this bag. Would you say its worth it?
Try storing the bag with the cleaning cloth through the handles so the handles aren't directly touching the leather. i hope this makes sense.
+Melissa Bailey I already cut those cloths that fits perfectly on the bag 😊 I'm worried the Louis Vuitton text on the dust cloth will color transfer to the bag too 😅😢
Hi Lindies! I just sold my Alma BB to a pre owned store. I got the bag and wear it only once. I just took the handbag out my dustbag and forgotten all about the horse key chain with the Pom Pom and is got some pink transfer to my bag and there is nothing I can do. I am still very frustrated about it because that is one of my favorite handbag. I don't think that you can remove the color transfer because it already soak in the Vernis leather. I also got so scare that I sold my mini pink patent Chanel bag. Anyway good luck on searching for different method to remove the color transfer. I told myself I am not going to purchase any patent leather handbags anymore. Love you videos. Take Care!

If you don't remove it within a few days it will sink deep under the coating and it will be impossible to remove 😖 But many people got their color transfer removed from their patent leather handbags so there must just be some miracle products out there 😅😅
That's so sad but it's really not that obvious and good thing is that it is on the back 🙃 I was looking forward for this video as I have a pen mark on my Rose Ballerine zippy wallet 😞 I will try to use the same or as close to the products you used! I really hope that it works 😌

I tried and it didn't work :'( The pen mark has already been there for over half a year so I think it's too deep into the leather.
It was so crazy yesterday I put the handbag on hold in SF. It was the last one in California so i called yesterday to confirm and they said they don't have it available. When I got to the store it was actually there. I was about to purchase it but found a lot of black dots on the handbag. The SA told me that this is how the leather is made. And I told him that it shouldn't be that way. I have purchased the same bag 2 times and didn't have that issue. That Asian SA was pretty rushing too. I think it's better off looking for the SA that I usually work with. At the end I have to order the handbag over the phone with client services. Hopefully it will be brand new with no cosmetic or other defects since it will be shipped directly from the manufacturer. Went through so much for a handbag. But I guess it's okay. I began to think that even the client services have some customer service problem. I talked to 3 associate the all gave me different answers. Anyway just want to say it all out.

Honestly I didn't know it's still possible to get something from the Rose Ballerine line on their website and I just paid like double price for the key cle as I thought it was not possible to get from LV anymore 🙄

Don't use nail polish remover with acetone,but non-acetone good for nail extension. That doesn't damage your bag or shoes.
Hi again Lindies! So I just sold 2 of my patent leather handbags. I still really miss the Alma BB that I sold due to the color transfer. The one I sold is really noticeable. I just wanted to ask you for an advice. Do you think I should repurchase the Alma again since I just called Louis Vuitton earlier and they said they had one piece left in San Francisco California and it is favorite bag in my closet? +Kathy Suen If you really like it then I think you should buy it again and just be extra careful with color transfer this time. If it's a limited color and they don't always have it then you are going to regret it if you don't buy and you will then only be able to buy from personal shoppers or resellers that will charge much more 😌 Which color is it?

I have two items in same color and leather- one never used and the other is key holder (i have car key in it), both have color transfer. It feels crazy that the one i never used has color transfer!!! Im not into LV lately, but if i were, probably would stay away from that color combination
I'm considering getting the alma bb vernis in black. Do you think color transfer or stains would be a problem with the black color? What about scratches? I have the rose ballerine Vernis wallet and I have color transfer on it as well. I'm so sad because it is such a gorgeous wallet.
+totorowtt Rose Ballerine is such a beautiful color and I think most who got any pieces from this color got color transfer 😢 A dark color will definitely be better and you won't have the risk of color transfer however it will show up finger prints and scratches easier.
Hello, just catching up on your vlogs and although this is years old I just wanted to tell you that Mr. Clean magic eraser will surely remove stains. Have a wonderful day.
mr. clean magic can remove the yellowish color of my bag ? my bag is like that .
Agnes Isaac Mendoza I have cleaned two of my leather handbags that had color transfer with Mr. Clean and they look brand new. Make sure to treat afterwards ( conditioner.)
Also, on my patent leather shoes I used nail polish remover but it has to be at least 90% acetone. And again...please condition after cleaning.

Agnes Isaac Mendoza no, I used it afterwards. On my patent leather shoes I put vaseline on first (a very thin layer) used a micro fiber cloth to remove and then used the nail polish remover and conditioner afterwards.

I am having such a bad online or phone purchase. So the Alma BB in the Rose ballerine came today. The bag have a few black spot that I can still live with. It is not really noticeable but the lock has some scratches and cosmetic defects. Called LV up and try to just have them exchange the lock or go to the store to exchange. They said if I go to the store they with charge me for the lock. So I have to send back the whole handbag in order to do the exchange. So I had to purchase a new one immediately since they only have one left. OMG that is so crazy that I have to paid almost $2000 and still have to go through all this. I guess my bad luck hasn't end yet.

I had problems with color transfer within a week with a piece in that color. I returned it. Will never buy this color again. Bad part is that they make it seem like you are the first person this has happened to. And yet many people have that problem. Mine had yellow dots in less then a week. So I took it back. They didn't want to exchange it; however I made them. I was not gonna leave until they did.

+LindieSs no problems yet with the darker Vernis piece. But I think the lighter the color the worse. You are right about the Rose ballerine color. But I have not met someone yet that has not had issues with it 😫 sadly right. But it's only on the vernis. They make this in the epi as well. Have you seen it in epi. Check out the Alma pm rose ballerine in Epi, it's to die for ❤️💕

omg I have same problems with ana clutch (also same vernis leather) . I tried also this make up remove u showed in begging. I tried petrol from petrol stations. magic eraser. I tried acetone nail remover. I tried 40% alcohol. nothing works :((

So sorry this happened to your bag :( I think it may not be color transfer but rather it may have rubbed off some of the pink..

if it was because of the handles why did you have the colour mark just on the back side ? Looks like they just tried to find something to blame you in order to get rid of your problem without any exchange.
I hate LV aftersales service, they are all nice until you purchase and they get their sales commission. They hate you if you go back there with a product issue ! If they don't want to deal with any issues , they must higher their quality not lower day by day..
Mi Abc Exactly what happened to me and my authentic Damier Ebene Eva bag. I had a tiny rip on the corner and they refused to fix it. After that, i sold my authentic LV bags on fashionphile and now carry LV Grade AAAA replicas and there is no shame in my game. If their quality improves instead of price, i may consider buying authenthic LV again.
