I love how humble and curious David is. It allows us to feel more comfortable being a learner and we all get more out of the experts he’s interviewing. And Myron I can’t say enough about. The way he confirms business principles with biblical principles makes it easy to believe that GOD really does want us to be fruitful and multiply!

When you were talking about specialization in the economy in 4:54 you were trying to remember where that idea of specialization came from. I remember my teacher in philosophy say it began with Adam Smith, a Scotish philosopher discovered the idea of freedom in trade. He also said if everybody would specialize in their own trade and perfecting it it would be more profitable then everybody trying to learn everything. But we always need eachother he said because otherwise we would be left with al lot of product from our own for example bread without the product of someone else like butter or meat

So grateful he unapologetically speaks in this as a teacher it sickens me seeing how misguided it is, I swim upstream and it gets me in trouble and I leave and come back multiple times but I have to tell my students the truth, I teach them how to think for themselves, challenge things, be curious, create solutions, be willing to fail fast and get the growth and change their relationship with failure, systems, freedom and money, I want them to be confident, capable of thinking for themselves, create & not be afraid to make mistakes we've messed them up so deeply with how we do grading, collaboration, etc, the medical field requires collaboration and creativity, I'd be insane to train them to only do what I say, never challenge or consider new ways of treating something or accomplishinf something, sorry for the long response, but I had to release this, thank you❤
