UN 2023 Water Conference Official Side Event: The Imperative to Expand the Funding Pipeline for SDG6

The GIIN, alongside ACTIAM (part of Cardano Group), Aqua for All, the United States Development Finance Corporation (DFC), and Water.org, hosted to an official side event to the UN 2023 Water Conference.
This convening was held in-person at the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice and accessible as a live webinar via Zoom.
Water investors, including representatives from Climate Fund Managers, Ceniarth, Starbucks, and Reckitt, amongst many other organizations, presented their perspectives and experiences on accelerating real-world implementation pathways to water solutions.
The first panel included investment managers and asset owners whose participation is necessary to launch viable investment vehicles that deliver WASH and sustainable water solutions. Guest speakers include representatives from ACTIAM, Aqua for All, Ceniarth, Incofin, and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).
The second panel examined how private sector corporations are directing their financial, technical, and operational assets to invest in water solutions to deliver on sustainability goals and streamline supply chain challenges. Guest speakers included representatives from Amazon Web Services, Reckitt, Starbucks, and PayPal.
