Hi Praise God, I too have same view about this book. I did not go deeper reading this apologetics bible but I felt the same about the design , print and we have articles from many people about different topics. But we can have it our book shelve.
I have a copy based on the 2020 CSB text. I haven't used it much yet. It takes an interesting read, but I'm inclined to agree that it's more of a side resource to supplement other study Bibles.
Thanks for sharing! I have the new edition. Sadly the graphs and archaeological evidence are excluded? Also appreciate the heads up about it being a Complementarian bible translation. As an Egalitarian I will avoid it for the gender related Apologetics. Also wish they had included Egalitarian arguments in there!!
I gave this to a friend who is big on apologetics and he didn’t care for it all. Personally I found the layout of the book easy to read but most of articles while good intros are too brief to be really useful. But nice to have a bible that at a glance touches on the various issues. I was interested in their reading of 1 Peter 3:19 but they don’t even discuss it.
I have the NKJV Unapologetic Bible . haven’t looked at it too much but just the title I had to get it since it was a good price, I’m not to much of a fan of the Nkjv
Honestly I wouldn't complain about this Bible too much. It's not a tome of Systematic Theology or even a Apologetics study. I could carry those books around with me but then I'd need a wheelbarrow. Or perhaps I should develop a rotating Batman utility belt where we can hang all our most important books on, readily pull out one at a moment's notice. 😅 Anyways, If you really want to dig into the issues you should be doing it outside of the Bible (philosophy) , and this format just helps as a quick reminder of some of the apologetic ideas, that we all seem to forget from time to time.
I picked up the Leather Touch version today. For Apologetics, it should give good basic reminders to help create a framework for discussion. The translation seems okay, but I'll know more as I dig into it. Otherwise, I wish it came in a little larger print and sported a red letter Edition. I really depend upon a red letter edition for digging out Jesus's words from a mass of text. Unsure if it will supplant my 1984 Thompson NIV red leather large print with chapter marks. There's decades of notes in there that I'm not too eager to transfer over. I'm getting a new cover for the NIV and I'm excited to get it back. Most likely this Bible will just supplement it.
It's not a good witness to punt on the issue of earth age. Young earth apologetics is drenched in deceit, and anyone filled with the Spirit should be calling it out without flinching
As someone who was a big skeptic as a new believer this bible was very helpful to my logical working mind
Thanks for the honest review. I think I'll keep looking. God bless

Yeah, it was a good idea with subpar execution, IMO.

Thanks for the review of this study Bible, brother!
How about a review of the Key Word Study Bible?
I hope to get to it soon!
You pretty much nailed what I think about it. I have most of the Apologetics Study Bibles. This is down the list.
What are some others?
@@DiscipleDojo Henry Morris Study Bible, Defending the Faith by Apologetics Press probably the best one. Ray Comforts Evidence Bible.
@@judgehenry4157those are all YEC, though, correct?
@@DiscipleDojo Yes. All young Earth as is the book of Genisis.
@@judgehenry4157 haha, agree to disagree. 😅
