Reaching out to Zeelugt squatters, for US-based Guyanese

- In this video, we’re distributing food hampers to the squatters at Zeelugt, East Bank Essequibo for US-based Guyanese who are supporters of The Shabna Show. We first showed when we picked up the food hampers from Zimmers Supermarket at Meten-Meer-Zorg, West Coast Demerara and loaded them in the car. Then when we arrived at Zeelugt, we got some volunteers to help us to distribute them. Thanks to Barbara Singh and her family for the food items and to Anand and Tara for donating the cash. And to all of the other people who have reached out and supported our work, thank you also.

Thats thoughtful of those donors to contribute to these brothers and sisters and their children. Even more blessings for them to think about the dogs as well. They will will have everlasting blessings for such deeds. It's also recognizable of you that you are the one that has brought these stories publicly. The appreciation goes beyond. I'm very impressed by the way you Shabana handed over the gift on behalf of the family from America. I also sincerely would like to commend the donor and her family, may the great lord continue to bless them and that their pots would never go dry not even for one day. I remember sending money to the popular lady up the Corentyne to help families but what she did, was to send me old pictures that I saw on her program before telling me that she gave my donation to those families.I can see that Shabana is doing a marvelous and honest piece of job. . May God continue to bless you and your family Shabana so that you can continue to see those in need and reach out to donors... God bless

The last flood Guyana had my husband and his friends when to help many families with food, wheelchair...etc.
I hope these charity money given to these men not use for drinking liquor. I can't understand these poor people having so many children. Guyana have many medical clinics with FREE CONDOMS...teach these women to use commonsense and protect themselves.

Hi Shabna. There are still a lot of kind generous people out there , especially the donors from abroad. However, even if a handful of a few very rich Guyanese living locally reach out to these poor people. It will make a big difference to their lives. Keep highlighting in the various squatting areas, please. Not forgetting someone from the health service to talk to them about family planning!? Many thanks.

It is commendable that you continue to help people in need, but some need to be educated on using contraceptives......better late than never!A hand out can only go so far.
Remember, give the donation, however, teach the people a skill and they will never have to depend on donations. government, step in.

I like your show, doing a great job but I totally disagree of the way people's situations are exposed to the public. Persons who are assisting should RESPECT people's privacy not to take advantage of their situations just because they're in need. Im addressing this to you because its humiliation which will lead to low self esteem...i mean children are involved, it will eventually affect them emotionally & psychologically, if you understand my voice of opinion, this is totally wrong guys!

These squatters should be removed very deplorable conditions .... Oil rich people poor Guyana and the PPP distroying black people's livelyhood who are struggling .
