Since Mr. Raditch was likely the first to notice that Joey has a possible learning disability during the Degrassi Junior High era, I was surprised that he didn't get him tested for it. If you remember the Degrassi Junior High episode, Pass Tense, when Mr. Raditch told Joey that he failed Grade 8, he also said that "I'm afraid that the problem is more deep rooted than that". This quote indicates that Raditch was definitely on to something about Joey's academic issues, but chose not to have him tested. As a result of Joey not being diagnosed with a learning disability sooner in order to get it corrected, his prospects of a successful life was jeopardized, which is why I'm surprised that the Jeremiah Family didn't sue the school board for Educational Malpractice.
Eeeeew, Claude! I love that the same actress played Joey's mom throughout DJH, DH, and School's Out. I loved the fight between Joey and Dwayne. Joey whupped Dwyane's ass!
Everyone lets bring back the 80's and early 90's! The music, the clothes, everything!! These days, music and fasion has really gone to hell, totally tacky.
@Muirmaiden Yeah, Luke just blended into background until Season 3 of DJH. In fact the Degrassi cast was so big, some regular, established characters (Spike, Joey, Wheels, Liz, etc) clearly visible in some eps and referred to by name didn't even get credited at times!
@Hulk2k6 , yeah, I noticed that. If they didn't get any dialogue in the scenes, they weren't mentioned in the credits. In the series finale, Luke isn't mentioned in the final credits although he's there during the dance. Nancy, Tim, Trish and many others had the same fate Luke had - they were either in the background or just used in secondary stories as supporting players. I have to say, Andy Chambers (Luke) was very natural in his role and was very good in the small amount he was given to do.
@Hulk2k6 , actually, watching DJH Luke was in Ms. Avery's class (7th grade) in the first two seasons with Caitlin, Kathleen, Melanie, Alex, etc, and he looks much younger (although he was tall for his age). He just didn't get a whole lot of scenes or dialogue until the last season of DJH - which was probably due to the acid storyline invovling Shane, who was one year ahead of him.
I'm under the impression Luke was left back ala Joey. I'm sure he was in 9th the previous season with Spike, Shane et al....It's just he looks a wee bit older than the rest of the 9ers.
@TashaAkaTachi LOL and Raditch " Alright! that is quite enough..! Ah memories i punched a girl in the mouth right in front of the princables office 20 yrs ago lol
i didn't like the way joey was teasing snake about not getting his license - joey had a big mouth - but he was insecure - i thought he would have been humble after he failed 8th grade
first vandalism then assault....oh Katelyn....how far youve fallen...whats next MURDER? Oh thats right you gave it up to Joey and then got let down....smh
at least when i cheat i make sure that i don't answer all the questions correctly, so it doesn't look that obvious that i cheated duh

I don't think Joey's parents can sue for something like that. His parents should have taken him to a taken doctor instead
Q: What do you tell Claude when you see he has two black eyes?
A: Nothing. Caitlin has already told him twice.
Eeeeew, Claude!

"Alright!! that is quite enough! gotta love those teacher lines.. lol
I have a new appreciation for Caitlyn now.
@Muirmaiden

Me too! It was the better punch from a girl in a series.."Take that Claude! "and bang! You see my fist! "lol!
gotta love the dwayne vs joey scene.. brings back SO much memories of fights @ school lol
0:09 "Pat and Neil's amazing adventure is supposed to excellent"
7:28 - Joey with the MMA Ground and Pound.
In TNG, Joey would fail great time as he can beat big opponents like Dwayne, but loses to much smaller opponents during the Degrassi Reunion.

I relate to this episode so much its crazy though

9:50 - anyone else notice Mr. Raditch being called "Dan' (Dan Woods)
lol!! :D
Daniel Raditch is his full character name.
Dwayne reminds me of Buzz from Home Alone
Yep. Same kind of fat mean slow witted pricks. Came across some of those as a kid. They're a pain.
He looks like Kevin owens
That piece of fried chicken that gets put on the plate at 3:41 looks so delicious I want to eat it so bad lol.
Joey beat up Dwayne like Ralphie beat up that bully on "A Christmas Story"
You mess with someone long enough they'll eventually snap and go for you, give you what-for and possibly anyone tries stopping them!
aww caitlin and joey meet in the principal's office once again lol
@Hulk2k6, yeah, it would have been nice to see her on TNG.
What just happen? I still wonder how caityln actually made claude's nose bleed...
Gave him a slap. She needed one too for ditching Joey for a big ass loser like Claude.
true
i think she ripped his percing!
Oh alright. make sense but if the blood came out somehow than idk what happen
9:05 - He didn't respect her pimp hand.
@awesomechildisKool
I definitely hear his accent sometimes.
rip neil hope
@awesomechildisKool I heard they were told to emphasize the ABOOT in their scripts haha
OMG im really in love with Caitlin now
That one guy, what did caitlyn do to him to make him start bleeding?
I'm under the impression Luke was left back ala Joey. I'm sure he was in 9th the previous season with Spike, Shane et al....It's just he looks a wee bit older than the rest of the 9ers.
@imwatvhingyou2047 In real life LDs can START at any age, not just in elementary.
@Muirmaiden
They probably could have got her for TNG (during Joey's stint) if they wanted her so bad!
joey reminds me of marco from the next gernation
More like Marco looks like Joey Jeremiah.
@TashaAkaTachi LOL and Raditch " Alright! that is quite enough..! Ah memories i punched a girl in the mouth right in front of the princables office 20 yrs ago lol
I thought the way he talked was hot too! He was so cute and Joey TOO!
Wooo thus one was good
no teacher uses the same test year after year and there all gonna get the same answers and score.
You would be surprised at how lazy some teachers are. Have seen just that many times.
i;m sorry but Cluade is a coward!
n e one else notice that Wheels always says "aboot" and is just a little more Canadian than the rest? am i the only one who finds that a turn on?
She barely touched him and his nose bleeds...
@Shannixoxo she slapped him
Caitlyn is such a babe.
aboot is just how some canadians pronounce about.
KNOCK OFF THE ADVERTISEMENT PLEASE
Are you kidding? You're using a free service. I have UA-cam red and I never see a single ad anywhere.

poor joey but stupid to drop out! just because he's a disablity
Its a knee jerk reaction. Many have those fits of anger. At school, at work.
