I was 8 years old when the first Zeppelin album came out. I grew up listening to their music. No Disney soundtrack for my childhood. It's why my generation is so fucking awesome and smart.

Kevin Marcoz Well it's pretty obvious he's a casual and probably can't name any Led Zeppelin albums to save his life...... nor does he know anything about Metal genres and sub genres.

i was just about Born when this song came out, I would of never knew about this song if my brother didnt give me his old ipod, and ive come to "like" this song alot, and they have a few more that are real good songs like For Evermore is 1 of them,.But When the Levee Breaks will Always be my favorite.

Originally written in 1929 about a flood on the Mississippi in 1927. New Orleans was largely spared, but it was basically the warning of what could happen, before it did with Katrina.
difficult song to play. no wonder they didn't play live. this is led at their bluesy best though.
