A change-up of interior artist(s) but it remains true to the source IP and what was drawn before.
“Double Jeopardy”! - why, yes, the sensei does look like his role could be played by Alex Trebek, on that very first page.
Although the villain leaders in particular are (only) somewhat more high-tech and near-futuristic than the antagonists of the games, these designs are more in line with Double Dragon Neon. Which is the LONE modern take (expanded rehash) on this property that was worth doing. Been there, done that, now 12 years ago - next! Any other near-future visible elements, such as the Lee brothers' motorbikes, are suitably mild and minimal in their immersive additions. Again, unlike that 1994 Hollywood desecration.
Somehow, this video's background music is less polka and that much more like 8-bit or arcade beat-'em-up soundchips 😛. What! You're not drinking Scotch whiskey during this recording! Accht...don't like swallowing liquid campfire? A shame about the sensei but that's not unforeseen nor unusual in the archetypal lore this writing has followed the groundwork of.
I like this miniseries' visuals - style(s) and designs - two for two issues, across as many lineart rosters, as well as the writing. Enough, that I'm looking this up on MyComicShop; from which, it's all readily available, complete. This has reminded me of one of the Street Fighter limited series released by Malibu at the beginning of the '90s that I had come across and picked up an issue or two of. Anyway, enough from me, thanks for showing me that this has been a worthwhile licensed adaptation so far. Take care and see you at your next one, TSPH.

@@mikefanofGDNgenuinedarksyde703 When I drink (occasionally) I usually drink Irish or Japanese whisky. Because they tend to have more flavour.
