I am also a South Asian gay. Its not easy to move forward when you know your family doesnt accept you the way you are. I am trying to love myself to accept and to see that my identity is not just gay.
I am in the same situation, we just have to love ourselves because we are valid and worthy even if our parents don’t accept us. If they won’t love you for who you are, that is their problem, not yours and you can’t live your life trying to please them. You got this, focus on yourself and your goals and things will get better.
