Just to clarify! The Cosmere discussions from 2023 are Secret Projects 1, 3, and 4 (there's also one for 2, but it's not Cosmere related), Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, a combined Oathbringer and Rhythm of War discussion, a combined Elantris and Emperor's Soul discussion, Warbreaker, and a Mistborn Era 1 vs Era 2 chat. I corrected myself in the video regarding the Mistborn content, but I didn't think I did a very good job clearing that up, so I figured I'd elaborate here. This year, about twice a month, there will be additional Cosmere-related videos :) There's more Cosmere content on the channel, but those are the main discussions that were done over 2023. Anywayyyy, hope you're all having a lovely day! Happy reading 📚
I’m glad you mentioned your book! I’ve been watching your channel for a while but apparently not long enough to know you had published a book! I will totally get it, the audio version sounds super exciting!
You were so cute while describing your book and the sequel :) Your excitement and joy really shined through and made me smile. I'm definitely going to pick up a copy and check it out! Also, it's awesome when Luna makes an appearance as she's so precious. (And don't apologize for the dog hair! When you love a dog, it just comes with the territory. If our house ever gets to the point where there isn't any dog hair, then I will be sad...)
Green rider!! I read that a while ago and loved the first one before dropping off. Definitely will be curious what you think of the rest of the series.
Just started A Way of Kings, reading with a fable bookclub and the plan is to read all of them to be caught up for the new book coming out. It is a long beginning, but I hear it gets really good and then the last 250 pages are QUICK!
Thank you for talking about Green Rider! This was one of the first fantasy books I read as a teen (years ago, hah!) that sparked my interest in the genre. I love this series but never see/hear people talk about it, so thank you! 😊 It’s a long ongoing series but worth the investment.
My MIL gave the first Green Rider book to my young teen reader a few years ago. She liked it. I picked it up and loved it too. I read the few books in the series that my library carried and then I forgot about it. I need to go search out the rest. I liked the wholesome, cozy feel of it.
I read the first three Green Rider books in 2023, loved them! They remind me a lot of Tamora Pierce's books, which are some of my all time favorites. The audiobooks are wonderful 😊👍
The Last Love Note - I read this one in December, and I found it quite deep. I honed in on the experience the main character had with losing her husband to early onset dementia and the ensuing grief. I think the author did a great job with those aspects of the book. So much of the story showed just how much the main character loved her husband, but the end showed us how much her husband loved her. I was drawn to the book, because I lost an aunt to Alzheimer's and as a teen worked in a nursing home that cared for those with dementia. I witnessed early onset dementia at that job. I was naturally drawn to those aspects of the book.
It's great to see how excited you are about your second book :) Peace and Turmoil is high on my tbr for this year. I'm really looking forward to finally picking it up, especially knowing the second one will come out in the forseeable future :)
I do really think book two is a huge step up. Thanks in advance if you give the first one a go! Hopefully I can have the audiobook for that one done around its release ☺️
I almost wish you would talk more about Remnants of Dawn, I love your writing content and I can’t wait to watch you improve as an author and I’m already loving the first book
That’s so nice! I’ll sprinkle some content and updates here and there. Once the audiobook is out, I’m thinking of doing an entire dedicated video all about that process ☺️☺️☺️
Oh wow I read the Green Rider way back in middle school! I remember really loving it, but I had no idea it was still going! Holy moly! 😳 I'm in my 30s now, lol. I'll have to add it back to my TBR for a reread sometime.
I'm so glad you enjoyed Green Rider. It's one of my favourite series and I feel like it's one of those hidden gems in fantasy and deserves way more attention. The author is currently writing the final book in the series (though she has said she plans to write more books in the world, just with different/new characters).
It's so weird for me to hear that the Green Rider is still being written. I think I read the first couple of books back when I was 20ish and they were newly released. Then I guess I forgot about the series but I would like to go back to it sometime. I'll be interested to watch your journey with the series :)
Well, glad someone its reading something like cobalt red, those type of books are rarely discuss in booktube but they are the most important, if you like the topic i would recommend: Smedley Butler - War is a racket John Perkins - Confessions of an Economic Hit Man Gary Webb - Dark Alliance Max Blumenthal - The Management of Savagery Michael Hudson - Superimperialism
I'm looking forward to Green Rider this year. I plan to get to it in August, though it's news to me about the series not being done. I thought Winterlight was the final book and the novella that was just released (Spirit of the Wood) was a bonus thing and not an indication that the series would continue.
I really need to get back into the Green Rider series. I think the next one I need to read is Mirror Sight, but I haven’t picked up the series in ages. Those thick fantasy books can just take a while to get through, so they aren’t the first books I gravitate towards when I only have so much time to read.
Where would be the audiobook available? I have your book on my TBR and since I tend to listen to audio more than reading ebooks/physical copy, I could move it up on my list.
Plug your book more girl!! I've been watching you for 6 months and I didn't know you wrote one. How do we get it? I'll rewatch just in case you said. Is link in description? I even started watching your oldest videos on my TV while I clean lol. ❤❤
You’re so sweet! I hope you enjoy it! Book two is a big step up as far as the characters, the world, the twists-book one is truly just the beginning :D
I just picked up Green Rider the other day at a used bookstore after seeing it recommended on instagram. It's kinda crazy to see it pop up here as well lol. Glad to hear that it's a fun read! I can't wait to get to it.
Nami is starting to learn not to chew but she is a CHEWER and she will also steal your shoes lol but we started puppy training classes this morning and it was a lot of fun!
Thank you for the news of your book coming to audio book I have wanted to read it , because of my Parkinson's I can't hold books any more. So the news your book as a audio book is great news thank you.
Thank you so much for your videos. I have your first book and I am an immersion reader. When do you think the audio will be out? I cannot wait to read your book. 😊
Please read Reign & Ruin by JD Evans! Major politics, complex magic, evil villain, continuous plot but changes character focus each book. Insanely underrated series.
I enjoyed the first 2 books of the Green Rider series, but the 3rd book focused on on parts that I wasn't very interested in, and just felt boring to me. I made it all the way through the 3rd book, but DNFed the 4th book once I was actively looking for excuses to put off continuing.

Definitely talk about your book some more! I just bought it. As an aspiring writer too I know how much work it is, I'm happy to support!
It's on my wishlist but I'm waiting to read through some of my TBR pile
I totally have your book but haven’t gotten around to reading it yet. I can’t wait to read it soon.
I’m glad you mentioned your book! I’ve been watching your channel for a while but apparently not long enough to know you had published a book! I will totally get it, the audio version sounds super exciting!
I love your video’s! I am 71 years old and have found that I love the books that you recommend.
i have been summoned by talk of Green Rider! love seeing all the comments of other people loving this series 😁🐎
I came across your channel recently and the fact that you have 7 years worth of content makes me so happy to binge watch them all! 🫶🏼
I adore Green Rider and I never hear anyone talking about it. It's so nice to see you talk about it.
Have faith in you. Have purchased your book and waiting for the delivery of thIs work.

Well you’re welcome :D I’m excited to keep going with it, and I’m so curious to see where the series goes 😄
Me too!!!

@@ebnovels yes please!
As a potential future writer myself, I would loved to know more about all the process you have.
I haven't finished this video, but can you give us Dutton updates in the future??
Haha, sure! Next time I see him I’ll try to get some cute clips 🥰
Ha! So here’s where you talked about Green Rider. Not sure how I missed this! Just started it!

Definitely adding Green Rider to my TBR. I've been looking for fantasy with female protagonists
YA fantasy is overwhelmingly female main character focused, but I think adult fantasy definitely needs more female main characters!

I love how Murderbot is annoyed by stupid humans...
Hahahaha, me too 😂
I'm very excited to reread PaT on audio!
I bought your first book! It is on my February tbr...so excited to read it.
I personally would love to know your writing process and the evolution of your project.
Great Video!
Off topic: did you do a video of the different strange the dreamer / muse of nightmare editions?
I am finishing a series now and feel the same hesitation. I don't want to know if bad things happen to my favorites!
Thank you so much for your videos. I have your first book and I am an immersion reader. When do you think the audio will be out? I cannot wait to read your book. 😊
So excited to hear updates about your books! I’ll definitely pick up the audio book of Peace and Turmoil for a re-read before reading the second book.
Ah, thank you, that’s so nice! The narrator is truly incredible 😄😄😄
I procrastinated reading RoW because of the same fears you have haha
Please read Reign & Ruin by JD Evans! Major politics, complex magic, evil villain, continuous plot but changes character focus each book. Insanely underrated series.
Remnants of Dawn is the title of the sequence. OK. Thank you.
Please talk about your writing more Id love to get your audiobook! I watch fairly regularly and had no idea you wrote.
Do you have Goodreads? I would like to follow you ❤ x
Can’t wait to listen to Peace and Turmoil 🤩
Thank you! I can’t wait for people to hear how great the narrator is :D
Cosmere... I'd like to gain an introduction, but where to start. Can anybody point me to a link or suggest the first few books to read?
I still need to get to The Stormlight Archives 🙊
Ohhh, I hope you enjoy it if you do 😄
I enjoyed the first 2 books of the Green Rider series, but the 3rd book focused on on parts that I wasn't very interested in, and just felt boring to me. I made it all the way through the 3rd book, but DNFed the 4th book once I was actively looking for excuses to put off continuing.
your dutton rant 😂
Cobalt Red is a very important book. People don't know where their technology comes from and how it's made. Slavery is alive and well in our world.
How did i know your mom's dog was a lab before the picture? XD
A love your reviews. But I Gotta say.... you look exactly like i pictured yennefer when i was first reading the witcher!
I’ve still yet to read a Brandon Sanderson book yet 🥹
Ohhh, is there a certain work that sounds the most fitting to your tastes? 😄
Is there a site you would prefer me to buy your book from?
❤📚📚❤️
I read Green Rider, it was a very inferior version of Mercedes Lackey's _Heralds of Valdamar_ which started in the 80's.
Finally someone talking about Green Rider ☺️🩷
