Hi Ryan a super tree looking very healthy as are mine, they are a pruners paradise, I have pruned mine Twice this year just to keep the shape, I will now leave them to flush out to their hearts content. Turning to tree turning I have bought a load of plastic turn tables from Temu under 4 quid each so I can turn some of my heavy trees, I originally bought the flat type from them but they are no use so went for the raised style which work great, I will take them in over winter. This year all trees seem to be a lot further on and leaves are bigger than usual, I must be difficult to do the videos when you have to work full time, my working days have been over for a long time now I am 82 so I have a lot more time. Good luck with the stumps mate a free source of trees is always welcome . All the best my friend.
Thanks Joe Buddy, yeah they are fast growers and fun to prune, i might have a look on Temu for some of the tables m8 what size are they? yeah its hard m8 with the working but its a hobbie and i love. Can not wait to retire myself lol, As for the stumps the bloke butchered them while i was at work so i give them a miss maybe next time, all the best m8ty ;)
@@houghtonbonsai Hi Ryan. The turntables are about 12”. Before buying on Temu check they are under four quid as they are being sold at different prices on the same site for more than that, as I said make sure it’s the tall ones not the flat type which are useless.some of my trees are quite heavy but they still turn ok. Retirement is not all its cracked up to be mate I would much rather to have continued working but it was not an option for for me. All the best mate.
I'm sure that there are many that would give their right arm to have a tree like this. If this tree, as you say, isn't looking much at the moment it will look spectacular as time goes on. A superb tree Ryan.

When you're talking about "flushes" of leaves Ryan, is that when the leaves fall off and new ones take their place?
