A prayer for Princess Anna and her husband that I read about their discomfort with Covid. Merry Christmas to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, to the Royal Family and to the whole Religious Community and to everyone! Come Lord Jesus! Hallelujah !! 🙏🎄🎉
Blessings on the Royal family at Christmas, they like so many of us are separated from their loved ones. I pray for the Queen on her first Christmas without her husband
St. George's Chapel is my most favorite place on earth. My soul resonates with the Holy Spirit when there. Thank you for making it possible for those of us who live far away to watch and experience these beautiful Christmas readings and choral presentations. Blessings to all the Clergy, choir and staff for your wonderful work. 🙏+

@@stgeorgeschapelwindsorcast7883 Gracias. Mi idea era facilitar la búsqueda para algunas personas. He procurado ser fiel al texto del vídeo. Ya he corregido algunas cosas. Pero si ve algo para corregir, lo haré con gusto. Gracias por el aviso. A su disposición. Y gracias por la música. Thank you. My idea was to make the search easier for some people. I have tried to be faithful to the text of the video. I have already corrected some things. But if you see anything to correct, I will gladly do so. Thanks for the warning. At your service. And thanks for the music.
For the second year not able to attend a carol service. So miss the singing and the wonderful feeling I get from taking part at this special time of year. So a big thank you for putting your wonderful service online. Peace to all during these uncertain times. May this special season bring comfort to those who have lost loved ones.
I did "No small wonder" with my own choir a couple of years ago - a beautiful, atmospheric piece. Nice to see your probationers joining in some of the carols. I like your descant for verse 6 of "O come all ye faithful" - please publish!

Very disappointed that St George's is abandoning the centuries-old tradition of the all-male choir. Must everything everywhere give way to the relentless (and profoundly intolerant) dogma of Equality? Why not create new opportunities for girls and women to sing separately rather than abolishing the men and boys tradition entirely in one of the few remaining places it still existed?
Really excellent! Singing, playing, and selections (musical and otherwise) are superb. Among the best of UK chapel choirs. But note: replace all the countertenors with women singing alto and you don't have a choir in the Anglican tradition anymore. Centuries of music can no longer be sung with the timbres and tonalities composers had in mind. One alto taking the place of a countertenor doesn't affect the overall sound judging by this excellent performance ... but what was the problem that's being "solved" here? Is it somehow "sex discrimination" if men aren't equally considered for the role of Lady Macbeth or Isolde? Does St George's care about the tradition it was among the tiny few foundations to carry forth, or is it just a canvas for absurd gestures of political correctness?
Political correctness sometimes tramples tradition...? Also, I really missed having "Once in Royal David's City" sung by a boy chorister as the opening...although this opening was absolutely gorgeous as well!
I concur. There should be a separate choir of girls, women and men. Either that or a separate mixed choir. I'm all for progression but tradition is also highly important. Men and boys have sung in the incredible chapel for a very long time and that aspect of worship should continue well into the future.

Thank you for this. Just a couple of errors in the text if you feel like making some changes.

Tradition is nice but should not exclude the poorer .
