I liked how he goes from being an actor playing someone like the the lone ranger to being a black hat
He kinda did a full circle because in the show he mentions how he used to be a cowboy before actor, but I do t think full on Lone Ranger
I think Lucy and Maximus guide him back to being a true ranger of the wasteland, perhaps an NCR Ranger, which brings justice and peace against all evil, especially the legion.
@@warlordqueekheadtaker7960 hell, we know he knows a spot he can take up the armor from too. Best thing is that he's a marine, and the marine corps had armor made by the same manufacturer (and generally same pattern) as the LAPD riot gear that the NCR rangers don. It could very well be that before or after being a Power Armor boy, he rocked the same gear and could do so again.

Lucy is a fallout 3 character, The Ghoul is a new Vegas character, and Maximus is a fallout 4 character. And Dogmeat is Dogmeat.

When you realize that so much of his early behaviour is due to him being severely under-medicated and nearly feral.
Am new to the fallout series but could you give me a bit more content or explain I haven’t finished watching the show
@@Defaltic as far as I am aware, this is a new bit added with the show; in the games, it is left unexplained what keeps them from or drives them to going feral. The game has plenty of drugs or chems as they are called in later releases in the game series, but they have specific effects unrelated to ghoulification, or the effects thereof.
After the war a drug was developed that both gets a ghoul high and can stop them from going feral it’s like a Medicine for them a new addition to the lore
The ghoul cooper was underground for a bit and only had a small supply leading to him slowly showing signs of being feral and loosing parts of himself until he gets a shit load of the drug and acting more calm far more like himself in some of the flashbacks
@@DefalticGouls are a mutant who became what they are due to radiation turning them into more resilient, and immortal beings. Most just get their brain cooked and become feral ghouls, which act like zombies. But some don’t have the radiation affect their brain, allowing them to retain their humanity. Until now it wasn’t really known what keeps someone from going feral, but now with that mysterious drug we know how a “normal” ghoul can degenerate into a feral one.

The Ghoul is so masterfully Written with the foreshadowing, like in the movie when they wanted him to show his dark side and he refused, but over the past 200 years, he's become that person, but you can definitely tell he misses being whole, and i don't mean the missing nose or finger

I’m just so amazed at his transformation. From loving husband and father to a soulless bastard who gives zero F*ks. I hope in season 2 we see some meaning brought back to his life

Honestly after finishing the show, I want the option to play as a ghoul in the next Fallout game. I think it would be something completely different to anything the games have done before.
Yeah make the drug he uses a game mechanic if you choose ghoul it would such a interesting addition to survival mode
You don’t get enough your health bar goes down and you loose control of your character slowly
That would be such a spit in the face to the legacy of Fallout.

In case you are interested, there are two mods: Project Nevada, for New Vegas, and Wanderer Edition, for Fallout 3. In both you are allowed to play as a ghoul, having some "advantages and disadvantages." But if you want something more "canon", the only option that comes to mind is Fallout tactical, although it is not played directly with a specific character, but with a group of characters that can be made up of various "races" of the wasteland, among the ones that are Ghouls, Super Mutants, Bloodthirsters (a new variety) and robots, (I remember this last one very well)

We need to see the ghoul as a maxed out lvl player. Who maxed out all his skills, all the best perks and found all the skill books and has over 1k hours of playtime. While lucy is the fresh lvl one character entering the wasteland.

I don't get Coopers wife. She does all the work to get a place for her daughter in the top vaults yet she's not in when the bombs fall. WTF? Especially as they are divorced at that point.

This could mean that maybe it wasn't Vault-tec who dropped the bombs. Just like the games, there's still a mistery surrounding who attacked first

It’s a quick line at the beginning but Cooper divorced her right before the Great War went off. So it somehow seems he got custody over her somehow or she didn’t know exactly when the bombs will start falling, even House miscalculated when it was exactly going to start.
