Travis Tritt is an amazing caring person. He played in sioux city iowa along time ago. Me and mom were in the elevator going back to our hotel room crying because my little sister was in ICU. He was in the elevator and calmed my mother down and listened to her while she cried. The next day before he left town he came to the hospital to see my sister and said a prayer for her. She survived.
Great guy, First concert i ever went to was a Travis tritt concert back in 2002 with my mom. I was only 5 bunch of women pushed me all the way to the front and he gave me a guitar pick I’ll never forget it! Been to a couple concerts of his most recently in 2018 at the Delaware state fair in Harrington. I got to see Charlie Daniels play devil went down to Georgia before he died. It poured its ass off during the concert but it was still really great.
Videos don't always show the true meaning behind songs. They are just the vision of what that song may represent to whomever directed or wrote the video story line. If he was gonna watch the video for one song in the trilogy and not the others then he might miss out on the story being told in the videos but not the actual meaning of the songs themselves.
Oh nooooo! It's not the video version. It's just NOT THE SAME!! It is totally different when you watch the official video that follows the STORY. REDO PLEASE?
Definitely... the whole order and impact is affected. Anymore (video version), Tell Me I was Dreaming (video version), and If I Lost You (video version). Billy did two out of three but without this video version of this song, it doesn’t make sense 😟 please redo with the video version 100%
I never listened to much country but when this came out I was 18 and I somehow saw the video... 😭😭😭 Dude... I never wanted to see another country music video again ever! Lol That video WRECKED me. Loud crying. Big heaving sobs. Damn u, TT and your sad videos! 🤭
She didn’t leave him. They had a life. She had an accident and died. She was pregnant and they saved the baby, not the wife. Please please watch the video.
Then why do the lyrics go you didn’t say you don’t love me anymore in a part of the Chorus. The chorus sound like she left him, maybe she left him first and then died in an accident.
@@hot_guy997watch the video I’m pretty sure this is a 3 series song and in the video for this one he is lm a wheel chair she falls and hits her head on a boat
This is one of my favorite songs that Travis Tritt sing and I really love the video a lot I've seen this video in a long time thank you for sharing Billy😇🙏👏👏😍🤩🥰💛🧡🤟👍👍😘
Oh NO BILLLYYYYYYY, not a lyric video!!! This song is from a trio of music videos he made to be a mini movie! You should watch them! They are amazing and he plays a vet in them!!!
Song takes me back to the year 1997 when my husband was killed in car accident. Song came out around same time and makes me cry every time I hear it. Very emotional song.
This video came across today. Was perfect for how I am feeling. My amazing Mama passed away yesterday morning, at the age of 67, after fighting a long battle with stage 4 lung cancer. Heaven gained a beautiful angel, and I lost my best friend. Rest in heaven, Mama. I love you and you will forever be in my heart.
Oh Billy Billy Billy, my man you gotta watch the actual video for this. This song is the sequel to “Anymore” and “ If I lost you “ is the sequel to this song. Watch them and it’s like a full movie
You definitely need to watch the video of this song! The song itself is amazing, but that video is something special, along with the other two that goes with it!
As I watch this, I see that you have done the trilogy. And I'm watching them in order. I'll second what everyone else is saying especially for Travis Tritt, you need to watch this trilogy (official videos) As powerful as this version of this song is, the 3 videos are tied together to tell a very powerful story. Even if you don't redo the reaction, take the time to watch the 3 back to back. You won't be disappointed. Moving tribute to our senior Vietnam Veterans
You definitely need to watch the actual video. You can't really follow the story otherwise. Travis Tritt has always been one of my favorite country singers.
The beginning always gets me, because we all know that feeling. You wake up and it looks like it's gonna be a normal day, you're thinking about getting up, when reality slams down on you and you realize part of the world you were just about to get back to, was destroyed...that sinking, gut wrenching, can't catch your breath, feeling, where the only semblance of relief, is to cry yourself back to sleep.
React to “Anymore” and “If I lost you”, it continues this story. You have to watch the videos though. The order is “Anymore”, “Tell me I was dreaming”, and “If I lost you.” If you think you’ll cry by watching a lyrics video then you’ll definitely cry watching the videos.
You have to find the actual video, I can’t find it by itself but under the 15 minute video “trilogy” it starts at 5:30. It’s 3 songs with a video timeline 💔😢
I can’t watch you react to this one without you using the official video. This is one of those where the song doesn’t have its full impact without the video.
I knew his music for years, but now after having a wife of 13 years and losing her to double pneumonia at 30. Just the first line was enough to make me tear up brother. God bless you for reacting to a wonderful song.
Billy I was just watching one of your older reaction Trace Adkins then they do where you were talking about your daughter I check to see if you had reacted to Highway 20 ride and didn't see it but Zac Brown band I defiantly thing BYSE will be along for that whole ride . Love your reactions brother appreciate you helping us pass this time another one for you is Trace Adkins Just fishin couldn't believe you hadn't done that one, Stay healthy!
Hey Billy you truly need to see the video No matter how many times I see it I just break down & crying We need more song that make ya feel We're losing that slowly so please Dear Lord been back this music
You really should watch the official video for this song. It continues the story from "Anymore" and is heartbreaking. It's the first video that ever made me bawl like a baby. I remember the moment to this day of where I was and what I was doing.
Definitely need the video version of this. If the lyric video makes u emotional, be sure to have plenty of tissue nearby if you react or watch the actual video. It is definitely a tearjerker. Always leaves me in tears.
I love that you are watching and reacting! Thank you so much for that! Would you be willing to do another reaction video while watching his music videos for the whole trilogy? Watching the videos for his whole trilogy brings it to a whole new level!
Yes was all pray for one another I lost my boyfriend back in 2009 does anniversaries run around the corner I miss him a lot and I always will Rest in Peace Bear😇🙏🤟😘💔😪
i may be late to this video but my dad passed away april 14 2019 and i was 14 years old it was early morning or that last night he had passed away and he was my biggest hero. i woke up that morning to my neighbor asking me to help them with something at their house and after a while i saw police and family coming over and i didnt know what to thinkand then my mom told me and it was the hardest thing to swallow to this day i still have moment that i will break and im almost 23 now.
Travis Tritt can really draw at your heart strings. You had asked how someone could go into the studio and record such a heartbreaking song. Listen to 'I Can't Write That' by Jeff Bates.
I know it’s a different genre- however, please react to “never say goodbye” by Bon Jovi- it was the biggest played prom song around 1989-(year I graduated) it’s great! ❤️💛🤘🏼🤘🏼
Omagawd! You need to watch the video! The song plunges a dagger in your heart, the video will twist that dagger. So yeah, by the end of the video, your nose is running and your tissue box is empty ❤️
great song, great artist, give you a treat if you haven't really looked at Travis that hard, CMT aired a show for a while called "Crossroads" where they paired up artists from different genres of music to actually show the commonalities between these styles of music, Travis was one of the first to sign up because the opportunity to be on stage with the IMMORTAL Ray Charles was there. turned out they both were very familiar with each others music and they put together an hour of fantastic music. its on UA-cam, just search Travis Tritt crossroads, or Ray Charles crossroads , you end up that the same intersection. bet you will love it. Late Comment bit the Full Original Non Radio Played version is almost 7 min...when i first heard that version after years of listening to the original (Thinking it was the only version) was like a lightning bolt...like wait the song is supposed to be Ending...what is happening...then just Tears unexpectedly...its POWERFUL
You should watch the video of this song. Beautifully done. It shows what happened to his wife and how it affects him and the daughter they had after getting back together.
The song's major success was largely driven by the controversial and heartbreaking music video, which was directed by Michael Merriman, and premiered in early 1995. It was filmed in Austin, Texas, and is the second video in Travis Tritt's trilogy of videos that tell the story of Mac Singleton, a crippled U.S. Army veteran; the first video being the chart-topping "Anymore" (1991), and the third one being the Top 30 "If I Lost You" (1998). In this video, his pregnant wife Annie is killed while cleaning a boat, subsequently slipping, falling and hitting her head on the docks. A very panicked Mac and his friend, Al, try to rescue her, but unfortunately, she dies at a hospital, although the baby girl that she was carrying survives. Mac names the baby after Annie. The video uses the nearly 5 minute single version (4:53). The video has since been cited as one of the saddest videos in country music history by both historians and fans. It also spent 3 weeks at #1 on CMT's Top 12 Countdown in June 1995, as well as score an ACM nomination for Video of the Year in 1996.
Awwww man wish you would have used the real video. The trilogy is like a mini movie. 🥺

What is the third song in the trilogy?
@@shannoncopeland4506, "If I Lost You" is the 3rd song in the Trilogy...

Like Reba, you gotta watch the actual video to most of Travis's songs. He has a few that follow each other with a story line...
Yes! That video! 😭😭😭
And they are amazing. U WILL get teary eyes. Love some TT ❤❤❤❤❤
Oh nooo. You need the video. It continues the story from "Anymore."
if billy watched the video he would turn into byse.
YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE OFFICIAL VIDEO. YOU CAN'T GET THE TRUE MEANING OF THE SONG WITHOUT THE OFFICIAL VIDEO!

True. True. True. 😣😣
@Wrestlin’ Jack r u sure
They used this song in a video of the late Dale Earnhardt…
I agree every time I hear this song I always hear his wife's scream from where she fell off the boat it's not the same without the video for the story
Oh nooooo! It's not the video version. It's just NOT THE SAME!! It is totally different when you watch the official video that follows the STORY. REDO PLEASE?
Yes. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ... it’s so much more impactful
I second this

exactly
Yes! I second, third, fourth and fifth this.
Travis is an amazing balladeer. his voice makes You feel every word he sings.
I never listened to much country but when this came out I was 18 and I somehow saw the video... 😭😭😭 Dude... I never wanted to see another country music video again ever! Lol That video WRECKED me. Loud crying. Big heaving sobs. Damn u, TT and your sad videos! 🤭

They were struggling 'cause he was a paraplegic with PTSD from his time in the service. But I've often wondered how that line fits, too.

Oh, no! You didn't watch the official video! It continues the story of Mac , Annie and Al from "Anymore"!
For something more upbeat...Try "great day to be alive" or "TROUBLE"

the video is so much better and gives more prospective on the song

All great songs. I especially like Between An Old Memory and Me.
Oh NO BILLLYYYYYYY, not a lyric video!!! This song is from a trio of music videos he made to be a mini movie! You should watch them! They are amazing and he plays a vet in them!!!
Yea defiantly need to video to this one. a lot of Travis’ music videos tell a story that you may not understand by just listening to lyrics
