Every god damn time I watch one of your tips videos I want to log in and play the game, even tho I have every classified set at maximum, and every exotic already. Your voice and your technique of explaining things that even a toddler will understand are out of this world.
Great job! Even tailored towards more experienced players, we were still learning from it. Very impressive. My favorite part, that you didn't dumb down the content, no insult intended for the newer players. You didn't have to explain what you were doing with commanding, determined, tech support, etc. We all know you had to give up some firearms or stamina to get to the 3832 electronics to unlock commanding on a Striker. I appreciate you didn't dive into those details or get side tracked on the build, just straight forward stradegy used.Well done sir.
Ive have actually considered making an updated version of this video, but its too good and there inst enough to improve on for the average character to justify a video, love it man, probably the best resistance video on youtube

I hadn't thought about the blind cover in that hall, but that is exactly how I used to have to hide in the elevator and take out heavies on Lexington solo challenge mode when seriously undergeared several patches back (when you could still use weapons from the elevator anyway-that's been awhile!).
Super good advice about the alternative route to the cache room, I didn't know that. I always hated to be forced to open one of the two doors and now I can keep them closed. Great video and suggestions, thanks.
Azariel, I hope you see this message: I want to extend my utmost gratitude to you. You literally have revolutionized the efficiency of farming resistance single handedly, and helped me so much. I've always thought I had pretty good aim and such, but your Striker tac link build, and your methods have drastically improved my resistance farming. Before I was playing Carrier, and was getting 4 rewards after Wave 10 on a good run. I then saw your Powerhouse spot and method, and got 5 resistance rewards after wave 10 my first try (getting a 2 min tac link on wave 8 as well!) You then uploaded this today, and after about 5 runs, I managed to get 6 rewards after wave 10 on Pier 93, this method is absolutely GENIUS. I got 85 kills on Wave 5, which basically sealed it for me, I actually had around 1500 extra shade tech still after getting the 6th reward at the end of Wave 10. This spot is FAR superior to Powerhouse in my opinion, as they literally just file in a straight line at you, where in Powerhouse they take cover in many annoying spots. I literally can make one tac link last the entire wave on the heavy farming waves. You are an absolute genius for figuring out what you have, and I seriously thank you so much. On a side note, for anyone wondering about how much shade tech you need at the beginning when you lure NPCs from outside, you must start with 175 shade tech before Wave 1 in order to be able to unlock the gate before the start of Wave 4.
Azariel Yeah man I genuinely appreciate it. I am mainly a PVP player but enjoy resistance to grab extra classified gear, and the general enjoyment of playing it. It is really awesome how you shared all this info, Ive acquired acquired much extra pieces of classified from all your tips. I think with an insanely lucky run that 7 rewards after 10 is possible on this map, as I had 1500 extra after 6 rewards, and ended wave 10 earlier than I needed to. I bet if you put your mind to it, you can do it.
Azariel you are an evil genius. I will study this very close and try to copy it. I loved your other vid on the powerhouse but this one looks like it can be even better.
I’m glad you show the bottom path to get caches before wave 8. I really recommend that console players and/or players without optimal gear do that as you will get one for sure and if you farmed well, 2. It sucks to wipe at wave 8 with nothing to show for it. Which is really easy to do.
pete kelso I definitely still die with classified striker often enough that I like to go and buy a couple early before pushing to wave 10. Makes dying in wave 9 feel like less of a waste
Azariel v - Your tip about standing at the ‘wrong’ end of the hall is brilliant too. That’ll make Wave 8 so much more possible as I usually get wiped running the gauntlet out of the room. It’s still going to be tough staying by the laptop with little to no cover and shotgun rushers but at least I won’t have already popped survivor link and have a medkit on cool down. Can’t wait to try it tonight.
You are a master strategist at resistance. Optimally, I get 3 caches by the end of wave 8. But that's only about 50% of the time. Thanks for sharing, I will be trying your way now.
It's a little bit harder when u r lower geared but still my fav place to farm for class sets. Im using flame throw that insta cc whatever i didnt kill on time. Used to open the doors straight for the "storage room" and ruining the so good farming place ... good i learned u can go around and save it, ty!
I'm really happy with this I'm going to go try it now I would usually just hang at the other end of the hallway and had decent luck with that but recently haven't so I'm hoping this helps me out.
It doesn't seems to work now. NPCs can shoot through closed door of Storage Bay 2 while I was at 'false corner' shooting down the spawning NPCs at the other end of the corridor.

Just tried the hallway trick. They must have fixed the spawning because the it does not work. The enemies always spawned behind me when I sat at that corner of the hallway.
can't get the enemies to spawn at the back of the hallway when i stand at your spot. they all spawn back in the courtyard edit: also after i claimed 1 cache at round 8 (cause shd was wasted on doors), nobody spawned anywhere close to me so the wave 9 contamination killed me. has this method been patched??
You should do meditation recordings when you aren't crushing TCTD. At what point do you normally run to activate the laptop- have you already scoped out where it is so you know how much time it will take to get to it?
Great video, can you give us a view of your full build there please? The damage is incredible and the replenishment of the tactical link is astounding! I might just be behind the curve as I've only been playing 3 weeks in preparation for The Division 2 but the information would be greatly appreciated.
michael2999 the build I’m using in the video is unfortunately one of the higher tier optimized Classified Gear builds. I have a couple other build videos about lower budget options though, like the classic striker or the console-friendly builds. Those will be good starter sets to get your feet wet
Striker build playing on PC makes this look like such a cake walk. I play on PS4 and I only have one full classified set, Firecrest. I also try running with a non-classified D3-FNC/Nomad ninjabike build and sometimes I struggle to get 2 caches after wave 10.
Slow and steady wins the race right? I have my share of wipeouts with striker - it does really well in certain situations though sometimes it feels very squishy despite all the health. This particular method plays to all its strengths so that could be part of why it does so well here. Keep at it though! Doesn't hurt to run in a group either, or even just with one more person. More people means less stress and just as much loot so no harm done.
Hey man have you a video up of your build for this? Or could you do a build for solo resistance without full classified or ninja? I'm returning player and trying to farm and I'd rather solo as matchmaking is useless. I get paired up with idiots. Subbed and liked! Amazing info! Best iv seen
I did a couple videos I think for some builds that don't rely on classifieds. Classified striker is pretty silly but there's some good stuff that'll serve you well enough until you can get your hands on what you want. obadiah7771 thanks for replying. I've been smashing the underground most days. Is it better to do 1 phase underground to keep it quick, and should I always be using directives?
My suggestion is that if your not getting any good drops from pier 93 switch to underground or the other way around. I've found if one isn't dropping me classifieds the other usually does and if neither does find a new server or what I do most of the time is get off pray to RNGusus then get back on and try again. Let's face it all of it comes down to your RNG luck.
The only problem here is that u are fully packed up with that classified striker gear. Of course it is ez af when all the npc's die in under a second. I'm doing that same thing with 4 piece of nomad because I don't have enough classifieds yet. That lvl 8 is the key point, if u can handle that, then u can easily open from 4 to 6 caches but maybe 3 out 10 times u make it.
I recorded two runs to acquire the footage for this video. In one the wave 5 boss stuck below like this and in the other one the boss came up but I managed to kite it which is in the other short P93 video I uploaded. As for wave 10, in both runs I got bosses that forgot about me. I much prefer powerhouse over pier 93 since unfavorable boss spawns are much more manageable. I'm sorry to hear it hasn't been working out on pier 93 for you.
the super stays active because my weapon has the Commanding talent on it. The heal station stays active because I'm using the player talent Tech Support

There's a lot of videos about this but I think this is the first one where I genuinely learned multiple new tricks and methods.

Love this video. On wave 8 I equip immunizer saved my life so many times. One shock grenade can destroy everyone's farm.
michał chojnacki agreed, at least 90% of my failed runs are thanks to a shock-shotgun combo. Immunizer’s a good idea too.
Azariel also tech support talent and those shock grenades are nothing :)

It's the "Tech Support" talent which adds 10% of your deployed skills' duration every time you get a kill. Happy hunting!

What let's him have that boost on the signature skill?.. what makes it keep increasing?
The commanding weapon talent adds duration to the signature skill (2.6 seconds) for every kill you get

The NPCs won’t spawn down the hall, instead they spawn down the latter in the courtyard. Has the spawns been fixed/patched?

Why does your super and heal station stay activated when you kill enemys?
the super stays active because my weapon has the Commanding talent on it. The heal station stays active because I'm using the player talent Tech Support

Draxten DuCoteau i got 5 of the 6 pieces during the global event assault then managed to get the 6th a couple days later via resistance farms
