I’ve never heard of blooming rice until recently! I have wild rice I bought at trader joes, would love to try to spout it now. And agree 💯 you are what you eat and feed your heart as well 👍💚

I absolutely love the idea of using a metal dish rack to drain! Completely stealing, that idea!

I really adore these jars, Lena. They're exactly what I've been looking for. May I ask where you found them?

I did exactly that, but my wild rice DID NOT want to sprout after 3 days. I just stayed hard. Why tho?

I didn’t notice if you mentioned it, but would you rinse the rice twice a day like any other sprouted item?

Hi David! Yes, exactly I take care about wild rice sprouts the same way as any other sprouts: rinsing them twice a day

Wild rice is not RAW! And it can't be sprouted

    • @nordscan9043

It can only be bloomed. The Ojibwe parch it.

There is one group on the tribe that makes wild rice specifically for raw vegans(thx to Carol Alt , super model), which means dried at below 118deg with constant temperature monitoring.
You have to buy it from the tribe directly.

She’s not sprouting it. Blooming it. At the end, she does say sprouted: one should understand that this may happen at times with someone whom is possibly speaking a second language.
