@@tom4078 it is a game changer tho bc most non new players have the money to buy them about 50% of the players in the lobbies I've played in are driving one
Missile anti-lock should be available to all non-weaponized vehicles. Players would spend tens of millions on upgrading their fleets. R* would see increased Shart Card sales. Players would have fun in their stealthier rust buckets. Win-win.
I'd be so glad if they did this, and the 100% armor upgrade should be able to absorb 1 light explosive like the oppressor missile too. combined with a lock-on jammer it takes just a bit more skill to kill a person just driving around in their personal vehicle. Being able to kill someone with less than half a second of work is bad game design and this would fix that. Its a great money sink too, about half a million extra per car. They should have implemented this years ago.
It should also be back-equipped to the Akula when it's in stealth mode. Isn't on radar, can't be locked up, can't attack. Also makes it a great counter to stuff like the Deluxo, use the stealth mode to get in range then pop, shoot, return to stealth.
@@SamnissArandeen there is no timer for activating/deactivating stealth mode. it takes more time to lock on than to activate stealth mode. So when you hear a locking sound then you can quickly activate it. It's superior to flares in a way

To promote Shark cards? And this tech on these explosive resistant vehicles are incredible news since they will make mk2's have to fly lower to try to kill you, now you can use stickies against them. I'm excited for the Patriot Mil-Spec/Humvee. I really hope it has a turret on the top upgrade, especially a covered one with windows like in real life. It wouldn't be an OP vehicle with Imani tech and armour, since turreted vehicles aren't very powerful anyways.
Turreted vehicles like the Insurgent are great for pve content. If they add that option for the humvee it'd fall into the same category while also being effective against mk 2 spammers.
The new buffalo looks and from what i hear feels really good to drive maybe that will be a good substitute. Apparently it's the new best muscle car in races by alot aswell.
Nightshark with the Jammer would be too OP. IIRC its armour alone can protect you from 20+ direct Mk2 missile hits+its agility and handling allows you to dodge Mk2 missiles. Nightshark is a priori a pain in Mk2 griefers asses (given that the defending side is not parking its Nightshark in every lamppost in sight)
I was so sure that this "new jammer" is gonna be like a fucking chaff countermeasure, blocking rockets only for like 5 sec. I'm actually so happy it's permanent I just wish this jammer could be applied to any non-weaponized vehicle, I'd pay even more than 400k for that to be a thing
The new patriot looks good, and it'll actually be useful with the lock-on jammer (unlike the squaddie). I'd like to see it added to more troop-transport type vehicles because if you have 6 people in one car, it makes it all the more devastating when you get blown up with one missile.
@SuperNinjaPlaysGames that, combined with what is basically moc cab armor, you'll have no problem dealing with the lucky few that somehow manage to land a rocket
The introduction of the lock-on jammer literally got myself and others out here grinding with cars/trucks again, rather than flying vehicles. Long overdue.
I really appreciate the jammers, of course, but they still can't be fitted into delivery vehicles to stop Cargo Griefers, they only help with KD Warriors, so one of the biggest problems is still very much present. regardless, that's a step in the right direction
I would've liked it if the old weaponized vehicles would've had the option to have Missile Jammers because the fact that its only on these 4 new cars is kinda a bummer, but at least its a step in the right direction.
I have a Pyro that me and a friend grinded the Cayo Perico for, and i would happily sacrifice the missiles and the machine guns for the homing lock on jammer. I think it sucks that you can only put it on the new vehicles. I get why weaponized vehicles like the oppressor mk2 cant have the lock on jammer but why cant Rockstar allow us to protect our favourite street car?
You gave me a great reason to buy the vehicle workshop, one of the dlc cars and the homing missile jammer. Probably one of the best additions in the game. Oppressor gonna be a bit useless now unless you are a low level
Yep, I'm happy that they added this. Driving my Jubilee around and having a mk2 Greifer chase me then gets mad when I kill him and he cant lock on is refreshing. Feels like the cars that are able to have the lock on jammer mod are the OP ones in the game.
Imani tech has to be one of the best addition to the game like u don't understand how many mk2 oppressors tried to lock on me like every time when one drive pass me they would try their best to shoot me and I'll laugh my ass of how they can't lock on me but it's still low that that'll kill me while I'm going shopping or doing a mission😑
Thats by design, drain the players wallet as a solution to the problem they themselves introduced, refuse to address the problem, and hide the countermeasure behind a multi million dollar business, and charge the player to equip them to each vehicle when GTA is basically a car simulator game
The mk 2 has made any normal car useless, some griefers always wondering the map looking for anything they can lock on to. it should lock only on weaponized vehicles. With this anti-lock feature, where back to driving cars instead of using helicopters or mk2 but still feel bad for other players.
Hope the new granger has the bars you can hang on to like the normal one, it’s a cool feature that not many vehicles have, I think the best vehicle that has it is still the roseavelt.
Oh sweet Jesus, if that's the case then rockstar needs to turn every jet except the Lazer with stock machine guns since the explosive cannon is too op and broken but the Lazer is 6.5 million so it makes sense for the Lazer to keep the explosive cannons
Also the remote car thing is cool: my friend was getting griefed so I got my jubilee with the remote car option and drove it to him so that he could escape the spawn killers
The jammer is indeed a GREAT addition, but my only complaint about these new vehicles with imani tech is that we can only get the oil slick mines, not the other arena based options.
The missile jammer is an absolute legend! Oppressor Mk2s avoid me when they see one of the new car blips and I haven’t had any trouble with them since this feature came out! I wish to see this feature on all personal vehicles like the insurgent and barrage so vehicular combat can return to normal.
I want to give my enthusiast cars the lock on jammer like my Übermacht Cypher (BMW M2) and the new Porsches (992 911 and the Cayman) so I can drive and do some jobs in the lobby in peace without going to passive mode all the time.
GhillieMaster Tech (GM Tech): -Cloking Mechanism (For vehicles only): Renders ground and air vehicles invisible off the radar and the physical vehicle turns completely invisible to other players when they are around it for a maximum of 5 minutes. -Phasing Mechanism (Vehicles and a character version): Allows the vehicle and character to phase through all forms of physical objects. Walls, other vehicles, etc.
Ghillie I tested this with professional, if an RC vehicle tries to kill you use the EMP launcher then switch to the grenade launcher and its done! I guess that is the one good use for the EMP launcher
I love the missile jammer, literally right after I put it on and started driving an oppressor tried killing me and ended up blowing himself up, the idiot.
Griefers have been RUINING my experience, I literally can't go 20 minutes without getting blown up. I had no idea the lock jammer was just a constant, passive thing, I'm totally going all in on it now.
Since like FOREVER we needed a lock on jammer. Like for real you can lock on bicycles. Now we can actually fight eachother in cars like acyuall gangsters and not some space marines with flying bikes and cars
@@GhillieMaster there are alot of variants, however from what I've seen so far the payphone hits are worth doing a ton more, can complete some super quick like 3 mins and they pay 85k if you do the bonus, best moneymaker free roam mission wise. Even though I have no interest in the vehicles like the Deity or Jubilee, I'm still going to buy one just to drive around with the Imani tech. Tired of MK2 users thinking they're good at PvP with their lock on missiles that almost never miss.
I gotta give some props to Rockstar for this. This is very promising. It means they are thinking in terms of what will help us out, and actually listening to the community again, and using their creativity to help.
It's funny when you're parked in RC mode, and they try to steal your car. They get in (the passenger seat, of course), and you just floor it. I did it twice so far... One bailed after a few seconds, the other got killed by another player, when I bumped into them... .-. On another occasion I didn't drive off, just sat in place. They got out and tried to blow me up... Would have loved to see their reaction when the empty, parked car they tried to blow up came to life and ran them over.
These should be added to the ruiner 2000. Or even make a ruiner 3000 (aka mk2) and have the option to add both. (It would be just like KITT in knight rider)
The remote controlled armored cars are absolutely OP, unless you approach a veteran player who is smart to counter them properly, people don’t stand a chance … especially when you have a friend too doing the same thing …. I think the best part is surprising them, so many people don’t even pay attention and I can blend woth NPC traffic pull up on them and their first reaction is I’m off radar start shooting at my windows … oops no driver 🤷🏻♂️ and they dead Hahahahahah. Also very useful getting around undetected and using the titan of job trick to surprise people on foot or get placed stealthy
I got my a Buffalo STX with the lock-on Jammer. Fully upgraded, it's white with a blue stripe in the middle. Had someone on an oppressor chasing me, missiles going in every direction, all over the place, couldn't hit me. Would allow way more interesting moments, and allow people to roleplay as talking murder-cars a bit like Transformers.
Ghillie, hear me out on this one. How about instead of releasing _new_ stuff in an attempt to counter the MK2, why not *nerf the MK2 itself?* The problem needs to be addressed at its source, instead of putting all these band-aids on a the equivalent of a gunshot wound.
The missiles are OK compared to other versions in the game. It's when the broomstick rider utilizes chaff is when it becomes too toxic. There are ways to counter it (IWD deluxo, u turn with a scramjet after the mk2 passes, or upside-down mk2 for an easier alternative).
I am using my sticky bombs again in my car, against the broomsticks and it works so well! Just like the old days! I even see some people switching to the cannons because their homing missiles are no useless, thankfully the armor on the vehicles is solid enough.
As much as we all want a peaceful lobby, imagine if we got a peaceful lobby... @@DallasWB I play GTAO since its release. Trust me, Opressors without guided missiles are far from the equivalent of a peaceful lobby. The battles never cease to exist, and they were a lot more enjoyable without that nuisance of a bike.
Yeah but like I mentioned. The game has been out for so long, and the deva is pretty much trying to make it more fun for existing players who has been playing since release and new players who are constantly joining. So when you got new players trying to explore, you got existing players with oppressors. All I’m saying is... there’s no easy to balance lobbies unless they put you with other players who are similar to your account. But they want you to buy shark cards so they prolly put you in lobbies with oppressors to make you want to buy and fight back.
missile lock on jammer is something that should of been added years ago, and I'm kinda kool with it being exclusive to a few cars. finally you can actually drive a stylish vehicle without fear of being locked on by just about everything or having to constantly drive a heavy armoured vehicle, it's awesome. unfortunately, its locked behind a 2/5 million dollar paywall and potentially more depending on what vehicle you go with. still kind of worth it though.
Better yet remove missile lock and for few vehicles that have it make it take long time and for rockets to be slower and just do less damage by default to all targets compared to non-lock on missiles, which would be logical as they trade the room for explosive charge for guiding system. This would automaticly sort the problem as all opressor users are skilless dinguses who wouldnt be able to do anything without that missile lock. As other thing Opressor MKII should just be nerfed to all hell because it's idioticly superior to helicopters with how easy its to spawn, fly and kill people with. It should be slow and much more challenging to fly with nerfed or removed homing missiles leaving only a machine gun and unguided rockets ideally...
I would make them slower and a bit weaker because such amounts of powerful rocket's are too much or buff it and the oppressor gets 4 missiles more or so
@@Jakkaribik1 That too. Tho most ideal setup i would have is that you can only lock on if you actually keep a reticle(in case of vehicles face the target with it) for longer while(opressor just autoaims at anything in the vicinity and you dont even need to face it with this stupid spacebike) and you can do a barrage of couple weaker and a bit slower rockets at it. While unguided rockets are more powerful. Oppressor should only have like series of 2 shots. While attack helicopters and gets get 3-5 since they have more rockets pods and due to harder handling should be more capable. Homing missiles should taked 2-4 hits on normal vehicles with armour upgrade bought and 8-10 on medium armoured ones like kuruma or the cognoscenti and then 14-18 for military vehicles. For unguided it would be 2 hits for armored road cars, 4 for medium armoured vehicles and 6-8 for heavy armoured military vehicles. Unchanged for other air vehicles as they shouldnt really be all that armoured and should evade
Hadn't even thought of using Imani RC cars to troll god-moders. The fixed hood/cockpit view is annoying, but for obvious reasons they're still an upgrade on the half-track for doing the job.
The RCU is godly when you switch between 2 vehicles and the RC Bandito. I’ve tested it and can get up to a minimum of 7 kills before they blow them all up.
I know people hate the oppresso mark 2 because of tryhards using it but I love mine cuz it's very useful for setups in the diamond casino heist and the Cayo Perico heist setups too and it's great for protecting yourself against the other griefers and tryhards
In that case, the griefers might revert to the Savage and Akula choppers as well as the Lazer jets. They’re still a force to be reckoned with, but at least the MK2 bike won’t be as troublesome as much.
I love my Imani tech Buffalo STX I fitted it with slick mines, lock on jammer, and front guns. Some say that the front guns are UP but not if you get a solid strike at the front engine grill for a few seconds or the side between the wheel arch.
This is pretty irrelevant to the video but you were talking about a machine gun only plane with no lock on which made me think of it. I think it would be a really cool idea to get a mogul mark two where the plane actually controls really well and you have better aiming as the passenger gunner, because while the idea of the mogul is awesome and I have actually managed take a jet out as passenger gunner he does one strafe on you and you’re done and it’s not the best dodging. Just a plane with some armor so you can at least take a couple hits and passenger has either have full 360 aiming degree or 180 aiming degree. (It doesn’t have to actually be a mogul mark two just that idea of a plane with a heavy emphasis on copilot gunner)

Missile anti-lock should be available to all non-weaponized vehicles. Players would spend tens of millions on upgrading their fleets. R* would see increased Shart Card sales. Players would have fun in their stealthier rust buckets. Win-win.
Agree lol. My dream is to have a blacked out cyclone with anti lock. And drive around with headlights off.
i just want an armored karuma with a lock on jammer :)
It's superior to flares in a way
You mentioned aircraft having the lockon jammer, I think if any existing aircraft get it, the Volatol and Alkonost should get it, they are stealth bombers after all

@@SnivyTries yeah, but I like the idea of having a chance in boat vs. plane/MK2. I like the kosatka, but the lock ons are slow and the cruise can't turn. I usually trade with them or it's destroyed and they fly away.

@@NicolasADH they're proven without a shadow of a doubt that they don't care about their playerbase. At best they were like " hmm, what kinda 'tech' can we put on cars to rip them off for another 400k ? "
@@shalindelta7 400k is nothing in the economy of this game after cayo perico, and yes I do agree that they don't care for their fans... for the most part, but some of the changes in this update was unexpected for the reason that it makes playing the game a bit more fun, like being able to do the dlc content in private lobbies, why would they make it possible to do the heists, especially cayo perico, on private lobbies if it prevents griefers to ruin their fun? To promote Shark cards? And this tech on these explosive resistant vehicles are incredible news since they will make mk2's have to fly lower to try to kill you, now you can use stickies against them. @@NicolasADH i think i agree with you. At a time where this game has run it's course, making some great changes on purpose seems plausible...

I'm excited for the Patriot Mil-Spec/Humvee. I really hope it has a turret on the top upgrade, especially a covered one with windows like in real life. It wouldn't be an OP vehicle with Imani tech and armour, since turreted vehicles aren't very powerful anyways.
I think the Patriot Mil-Spec is basically gonna be everything +more that we wanted the Squaddie to be...
@@FamiliarGecko I hope so.
Already watched a customization video of it and it just has the same as the other vehicles no turret
Turret or no gonna start seeing lobbies full of these Patriots
Turreted vehicles like the Insurgent are great for pve content. If they add that option for the humvee it'd fall into the same category while also being effective against mk 2 spammers.
I feel like adding just the missile jammer for most unarmored/unweaponized land vehicles could be beneficial for the overall freemode experience.
It’s about time rockstar finally did something good for once
I want this for the Paragon R Armored so badly, I love that car.
The new buffalo looks and from what i hear feels really good to drive maybe that will be a good substitute. Apparently it's the new best muscle car in races by alot aswell.
I have now bought it and driven it quite a while and i fucking love it.
I've haven't been blow up by a oppressor in a while. People are flying in non armored air vehicles without a worry and it's so amazing to see.
Same here. The jammer actually makes the game somewhat playable for once.
The tuners cars got a nerf before the Mk2 did.
The Jammer is the best upgrade, I hope R* make it available for other defensive vehicles too like Kuruma, Nightshark or Pickup Custom.
That would be broken
@@SuperMurray2009 it'd be fine* on the armoured kuruma since it can only take 1 rocket lol.
No nightshark or insurgent
Nightshark? Insurgent? Pfft, fuck no, they have great armor, they don't need this.
I'm actually so happy it's permanent
I just wish this jammer could be applied to any non-weaponized vehicle, I'd pay even more than 400k for that to be a thing
The new patriot looks good, and it'll actually be useful with the lock-on jammer (unlike the squaddie). I'd like to see it added to more troop-transport type vehicles because if you have 6 people in one car, it makes it all the more devastating when you get blown up with one missile.
The new Granger should have armor & Imani tech
THIS... Clearly the best feature since the MKII update that destroyed the game back in 2018, this had me back to play GTA Online.
I think it would be cool if they open up Imani Tech to a larger group of older vehicles.
I feel like all the non weaponized vehicles should have them
@SuperNinjaPlaysGames that, combined with what is basically moc cab armor, you'll have no problem dealing with the lucky few that somehow manage to land a rocket
The introduction of the lock-on jammer literally got myself and others out here grinding with cars/trucks again, rather than flying vehicles. Long overdue.
I really appreciate the jammers, of course, but they still can't be fitted into delivery vehicles to stop Cargo Griefers, they only help with KD Warriors, so one of the biggest problems is still very much present. regardless, that's a step in the right direction
before imanitech: the mk2 chasing us.... After imanitech : we chase mk2 with C4 !
I would've liked it if the old weaponized vehicles would've had the option to have Missile Jammers because the fact that its only on these 4 new cars is kinda a bummer, but at least its a step in the right direction.
Ghillie you’ve been absolutely killing it with the new dlc videos. Appreciate it man keep up the great work!
I wish they would buff the savage a little more or just lower the hitbox it was a great PvP helicopter
Oppressor tried locking on to my Buffalo and he was hovering dumbfounded for a good min 😂and started missing rockets.
It's much fun, im enjoying blowing them with sticky bombs, or simply brake and let them blow themselves since they fly close to you. They are so dump.
me too. they’re so dumb, i’ve had a few get right behind me spamming missiles that ended up blowing themselves up when i slam on my brakes 😂
We need this tech on all non weaponized vehicles.
Only then, you can fully counter mk2
Armoured Akuma op
Thats by design, drain the players wallet as a solution to the problem they themselves introduced, refuse to address the problem, and hide the countermeasure behind a multi million dollar business, and charge the player to equip them to each vehicle when GTA is basically a car simulator game
If the lock-on doesnt work, dropping bomb on a moving target whos aware of you, and can tank a few hits isnt going to be easy.
Same
With the granger 4 people can hang on the bars, both insurgents & Roosevelt (I think) can only hold 2 on the side if I'm correct
Player inside no lock-on car:😁
Me the co pilot of the hunter: oh no, anyways.
It's fun seeing the names people give the oppressor.
I've always referred to them as a Crutch-mobile.
The Jet meta is probably returning, I wonder how much damage these Imani Tech vehicles can take from a Jet's explosive cannon.
Oh sweet Jesus, if that's the case then rockstar needs to turn every jet except the Lazer with stock machine guns since the explosive cannon is too op and broken but the Lazer is 6.5 million so it makes sense for the Lazer to keep the explosive cannons
When i first saw that thing, i was like "Omg yes" and immediatly installed it
They should add these to helicopters to make them more viable in pvp I say
Only the unarmed heli's or ones without missiles, otherwise heli-v-heli would be awful.
Also the remote car thing is cool: my friend was getting griefed so I got my jubilee with the remote car option and drove it to him so that he could escape the spawn killers
I was looking forward to this. Sadly proxi mines alone make the vehicle count as 'weaponized' even though they don't seem to do damage.
Whats wrong with counting as weaponized?

I want to give my enthusiast cars the lock on jammer like my Übermacht Cypher (BMW M2) and the new Porsches (992 911 and the Cayman) so I can drive and do some jobs in the lobby in peace without going to passive mode all the time.
I only ride in either the STX or the Nightshark in public lobbies. Way too many try hards for no reason
GhillieMaster Tech (GM Tech):
-Cloking Mechanism (For vehicles only): Renders ground and air vehicles invisible off the radar and the physical vehicle turns completely invisible to other players when they are around it for a maximum of 5 minutes.
-Phasing Mechanism (Vehicles and a character version): Allows the vehicle and character to phase through all forms of physical objects. Walls, other vehicles, etc.

How about instead of releasing _new_ stuff in an attempt to counter the MK2, why not *nerf the MK2 itself?*
The problem needs to be addressed at its source, instead of putting all these band-aids on a the equivalent of a gunshot wound.
Remove its missiles
The missiles are OK compared to other versions in the game. It's when the broomstick rider utilizes chaff is when it becomes too toxic. There are ways to counter it (IWD deluxo, u turn with a scramjet after the mk2 passes, or upside-down mk2 for an easier alternative).
I am using my sticky bombs again in my car, against the broomsticks and it works so well!
Just like the old days! I even see some people switching to the cannons because their homing missiles are no useless, thankfully the armor on the vehicles is solid enough.
Honestly, a better solution is to just nerf the Opressor by removing the guided missiles on it entirely
As much as we all want a peaceful lobby, imagine if we got a peaceful lobby... I feel like lobbies would be dry asf and the missions aren’t any better, the lobbies are a way for people to show off their gadgets and what not.
Emp gun might not be the best, but at least we have something to counter the oppressor
The RCU is godly when you switch between 2 vehicles and the RC Bandito. I’ve tested it and can get up to a minimum of 7 kills before they blow them all up.
The stun gun is useful towards juggernaut in the doomsday heist they will fall
The lock-on jammer is the best. Someone was trying to kill me for 5mins before I even knew they were.
Quick play jobs thru the phone has been updated
Imani tech is awesome update!
Remote Control Unit should be available for every car, so should armor plating with it being so many weaponized vehicles
The Patriot Mil-Spec needs a weaponized/armored version with a .50 cal or a minigun like the Insurgent Custom. It would be so cool
Yes
& the regular squaddie should be able to hold 6 since it CLEARLY HAS ENOUGH SPACE to do so
I know people hate the oppresso mark 2 because of tryhards using it but I love mine cuz it's very useful for setups in the diamond casino heist and the Cayo Perico heist setups too and it's great for protecting yourself against the other griefers and tryhards
True !!!
Helicopters and tanks need this missile lock-on jammer
Griefers can still shoot through the windows even if it takes 16 shots to shatter the glass. The missile jammer doesn’t work with the orbital cannon.
Okay.. I'm gonna buy an Agency.. this video has convinced me.
And just like that, the nightshark is now my second fav mk2 killer.
Annihilator stealth should have this system
