Also, with the inscription, shruti and Smriti have no role. I request you to not speak garbage. Buddha is not the 9th avatar of Vishnu. Buddha was incorporated as an avatar of God only in Jayadeva's Asthapati. Buddhism was growing in influence and the best political move to unite Hinduism was to make Buddha an incarnation of Vishnu. That is politics, not religion. The Shrimad Bhagvat never mentions anything about Buddha. I am not talking about the power of Nothingness. Infact, I believe in it. Our vedic constructs clearly say that 'Shunya' and 'Ananta' are both necessary states of the Parabrahman. Hence, even the Vishnu Sahasranaam states that Lord Vishnu is both Shunya and Ananta. There might be a similar construct for Shiva or Devi too depending on Shaivaite or Shakta philosophy. My question is about none of these... It is simple! Where is it ever written that 'Shi' and 'Va' means that which is not? I chellange anyone to give me reference to it! 'That which is not, and yet it is all' is a very different concept in vedas. It is called 'Neti-Neti'. You should read authentic stuff and not purports of nen with agendas.
@@Ashish_Kumar_Sharma Again you are confused. There are multiple gitas eg. Rudra Gita, Ishwara Gita, Ganesha Gita etc etc. However, none of these are authentic since these come under Puranas. The Bhagvad Gita alone is authentic since it is not a purana. It is an upanishad. I am sorry to say this, but your knowledge is half baked. Also, you are wrong in saying Shunya was part of Shiva purana alone. Shunya was a concept predating Romaharshana and his text - the Shiva Puran too. Shunya is a construct in the upanishads and even the Mahabharat. You will find the constructs of Shunya in worship of Vishnu and Shiva both. Finally, you have still not given the Vedic/ Upanishadic meaning of 'Shi' and 'Va'....and you will never ever be able to give it too. This jargon is clearly just a marketing agenda.

+Simran Singh, You said that it means "auspicious one"! It is okay as far as "auspicious" is concerned. But where did you get that suffix (or substantive) "one" from? Can you say that auspiciousness has a "form" and a "name"? What does Siva Stotra say, i.e., " chidaakaasam aakaasa vaasam, niraakaaram omkaar moolam turiyam". What do all these expressions mean, if not "formless" principle!? What Sadguru was referring to is not the "Puranic Siva" or "Mythological Siva", but the true spiritual Siva, which is "nameless, formless, and all pervasive like space"!! A little study coupled with reflection would unravel the truth!
+Sridhar Moharana, "sam karoti iti samkarah", meaning, that which bestows 'bliss' is called Sankarah! If the devotees want to give it a form and worship as 'Siva' or "Sankara", it is okay for the purposes of Worship and Upaasana, and is right in its own place!!
+Simran Singh, I am giving here the etymological meaning of Siva: "saamyati paramaananda rupatvaat, nirvikaaro bhavati iti sivah" (Amarakosam; 1:30) meaning, "that which is serene on account of its being the supreme bliss and changeless"

2. Preservation (Vishnu=)
3. Destruction (Shiva-ve)
Hindus personified the energies
Shiva the destroyer of the worlds
Shiva is not a person

We use Shivling
Now Scientists found that
There is a destructible energy of the universe

And
Its a nothing but a *Shivling* which destroys things in order to create new
When hindu dies

We rub the Shivling and perform

This language don't have enough energy,,, Osho is great Sadguru that use all the languages
AVINASH JABADE osho was Atheist.
Osho was chutiya who opened prostitute house.
Please translate tamil or malayalam
Sadguru says he has not read any vedic text.. What is the basis of his knowledge and logic? At times i feel he will harm our society in long run just as buddism, sikhism, and jainism has divided our society based on hybrid non vedic texts..
Nice
Shiva also means "Mangal" 👹
And what does mangal mean???
@@devuttydevu756 mars or to mangal someones corpse
The AUM
Rudra explanation is not up to the mark. Its not right also..shiva explanation is ok but not excellent...
sir if u want u can try
No disrespect but he did not answer the question, I love sadhguru but the more I listen to people question him the more I see he just starts talking about different things and not answer the question, not all of the times but many times he did that.
Sadhguru is also completely wrong about his 'Shi' and 'Va'....those are words created by him and his marketing team.
'Shivam' means 'bliss'. I openly challenge anyone to provide reference for Shiva and it's explanation of 'Shi' and 'Va'. Ans:- there is none!
'Rudra' gets the name from - 'Ruraudra iti Rudra:'... meaning, the one who cried out is Rudra.
@@Ashish_Kumar_Sharma Nowhere it is. There is no meaning to 'Shi' and 'Va'. I openly challenge you to prove the meaning of the jargon. There is no neaning to 'Shi' abd 'Va'.
Also, your knowledge of Shiva linga is sparse. It is not formless, it has a specific form with a symbolism for conjugation of male (tandava) and female (lasya) energies.
The truly formless stone is 'Shaligram'. That is a truly formless stone.
@@Ashish_Kumar_Sharma Still it does not mean 'That which is not'. Probably you should read the Veda and not some man's manghadan purport. No point in mentioning some author (who nobody knows).
Shiva means the state of 'bliss'. It is the component of Chit-Ananda i.e. Consciousness & Bliss. This is the Upanishadic meaning.
@@the_unfiltered_truth7181 Got it,U don't know the basic of hinduism, thats smriti and shruti
,they transfered knowledge on the basis of reciets, from mouth to ears, like poem, songs, before 5000 years ago, thats why everyone sums up all the ved and upnishads with evry other knowledge, like acave painting 1400 years ago mentioned budha as 9th Vishnu Avtar, but not every one agrees,Shastrart is basis of hinduism
Beside Vivekanand, which I believe is not an "Unfamiliar Author" ,Expalaind how Shiva linga was missunderstood as falcid male body part
Go look ,how stefen hawkins expained how "the theory of everything"can have came from nothing
@@Ashish_Kumar_Sharma Pls don't speak Garbage. I am very well aware of Shruti and Smriti. The shruti and smriti constructs hold no domain in this 'Shi' and 'Va' thing.

@@ShyamKumar-rl3rw But Sadhguru's explanation on this one is factually wrong.
There's no difference.
When Lord brahma created Lord shiva first nama given is rudra. Meaning is crying. Jaggi please read.
Perfect Sir.
Most ppl will just follow whatever trash Jaggi sells to them.
you are wrong, Rudra is a part of shiva, Shiva is the creator of brahma, vishnu and rudra(mahesh)
@@dipendeori7361 Absolutely wrong! Pls give a sensible Vedic reference
@@dipendeori7361 If you believe in Shiva. The highest vedic hymn of Shiva is in the Yajurveda. It calls Shiva as 'the Rudra'. You should read before commenting.
@@dipendeori7361 Also, Vedically speaking, Vishnu is the creator of Brahma and Rudra both. Rudra emerged out of Brahma's forehead (but was not a direct creation on Brahma). He emerged by Hari's will.
Rigveda - Narayana Rudro Ajayata
Rudra cried out for places and habitations. Hence his name Rudra (Ruraudra Iti Rudra).
It is only after Rudra did tapas and became ascetic in nature that he became Shiva (Shaantha deham Shaantha bhuddhim Shaantha Chittam tatha Shivam). Shiva means one who is bodily, mentally, emotionally and consciously in bliss.
This 'Shi' and 'Va' is only Sadguru's marketing nonsense.
That doesn't have sufficient words
English is poor language

Mr, Jaggi. Shiva doesn't mean "that which is not" ! It means the aupicious one. Dont spread lies and shit just get people to come to your damn foundation. And stop telling those people that you experienced enlightenment! We all know you got trained by Rishi Prabakar.!
Simran Singh I bet you got angry over the Delhi pollution comment
What is the meaning of Sankara???
Omg this man Sad Guru, he literally gets on my nerves, he was never a guru in the first place , he is not even initiated i.e deekshit according to the hindu customs. He doesn't even have a guru shishya lineage, comes up with loads of BS , he himself accepts he has never read and understood any Hindu scriptures.. how can he be a guru after all , and he calls himself sadhguru, does anyone even knows what Sadhguru even means. Its the highest stage of being a guru, this phony godman is not even a guru himself, and calls everything inner engineering and dimensions how can he be directly a sadhguru.. Stop making a food out of yourself people.. i agree with sandeep wadekar.
