@@CookingTWICE this is because Christianity originated in the middle east, specifically from the Levant area where Lebanon and many of the oldest churches in the world are located. Lebanese have kept their Christian religion since the beginning and most of them didn't accept Islam when it arrived in the levant area from the Arabian peninsula. This is why in 1920 Lebanon was 85% Christian and until this day the main society is Christian (most schools/TV stations etc..) and the president can't be a Muslim. Living in Lebanon is like living in Europe or Brazil, I lived in both and felt no difference, same concepts, and standards, same clothing, beaches, Christmas decorations, etc. This is why Beirut has always been called the Paris of the middle east.
