*Hello again friendlies! I just wanted to say that if you don't want to use rice for your stand I found a great alternative! (link to it in the description)*
You take way too long to show where to sew and when you actually sew. I don't get it. It's like you're moving in slow motion. Really frustrating. A video tutorial should be clear and sped up at certain parts, especially when you sew. And showing where you are supposed to sew is great and all but there's no need to go super slow when doing it. Might wanna fix some issues.
@@chandracox6814 Can you do better??
@@chandracox6814 its one of the better tutorials I have seen. Thank you Rachel for taking the time. really appreciate it. And not slow at all. If people want, they can forward to the next section...
@@chandracox6814 You do know you can bop ahead on the parts you think are too slow don't you?
SincerelyRachel was
I made this and put drops of essential oil in the rice and it smells so lovely! Thank you for your clear and concise instructions.
I like your approach. Thank you. Mine won't be as pretty since my hand sewing is the worst. Thank you for sharing. I most enjoy silent videos.
Best video yet. It's hard to find a good video for this.
At school we are making this and my homework was to write a step by step guide on how to make it. Thank you for making it and i made exactly 10 steps😘😘😱😱
Awesome! 😃👍
Ok this is really cute and I had not seen one made before. I will try making it. Thanks do much. I have so many left over fabrics to make this from.
Thank you Rachel, this is a great video. These are perfect for Secret Santa and Teacher gifts.
You're so welcome! Glad you enjoyed!!
I love the cactus pin cushion! Fantastic video, thank you!
Awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :D
These are on my gifts for stocking stuffers. Thank you for a great gift idea.
You're so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks so much!! Great Tutorial. I'm gonna pop mine up in size a bit but I know what everyone's getting for Christmas next year! LOL!
Very cute and easy to understand directions but I'm exhausted just watching. Seems so tedious but this video is way easier to follow than others I've seen. I am going to give it a try.
I love it, I just made one for myself and one for my friend and I'm about to make one for my husband for fathers day. I will be adding these to gift bags I make . :-)
Great phone holder sewing project!
I made this before but I made another one using some material from an old pair of jeans. The measurements you provided was too big for my cell, but it works great for my tablet. So I went smaller and made a perfect one for my cell. Its a fun project so thanks for sharing :)
You can use plain popcorn kernels instead of rice. Nice tutorial 😄
That's a great idea! Thanks for the alternative! I'm lad you enjoyed the video!
Thanks for this idea, I'll use plain popcorn kernels too
I have watched many videos on making these and yours is the very best and easiest. Thank you.

Going to a lot of these for Christmas 😃
I'm so glad you enjoyed!! 😊
Thankyou so much for sharing this, i had the written instructions but was very hard to follow. So i really enjoyed your video, and was very grateful that you had made it. You have extremely clear instructions which make for a very easy project. I managed to make 3 in a little over an hour!(1 for the living room, 1 for the kitchen and 1 for the bedside table). I would of made more for friends ands family but I ran out of rice.. Hehe ❤❤❤
Lol! That's awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :D
This is the most wonderfully fun, quick yet useful project. Thanks for showing this.

Thank you so much! I actually made it. I have a DIY video tutorial on my channel on how you can make one yourself!
I added a button hole in the center of the flat for the charging phone cord
Wow! That's so clever! :D
A grommet would work, too.
Hi
Love this video very easy to follow. As a relative newbie to the sewing world i am very pleased with how these came out. Could you just give me some guidance on ratio of rice to size of pillow please. Thanks again for taking the time to make the video. Karen
Hello, What I did was I just filled the pillow with rice until I couldn't fill it anymore (about 3/4 of the way full), then I just added poly-fil to fill in the rest of it. I hope this helps you! Also, thanks for watching my video, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 😄
Another tutorial said about 1.5 cups. That was for fabric cut 9”x12”.
Excelente!!!!!!
So the straight line that you sew to fill the polyfill is 2” away from the edge and you sew another straight line that is 3” away from the edge? Just clarifying since the two lines seem to be spaced evenly apart 🙂
Ficou ótimo a mei
Thanks mam for this mobile stand tutorial. Can you Please let me know instead of rice what else can I add for the filling because after a few washes the rice will disintegrate. Please Reply mam.
Thanks.
GRACIAS . MUY FACIL LO HARE
Is there written instructions anywhere? I want to make these with my 8th grade FCS class, but don't really have time to write it all out......
I made this in DT
Cute
Thanks!
Hi, how much rice? I was thinking it might be about a cup.
Enjoyed the tutorial.
Thanks, Pauline
Hi! I'm not sure the exact amount but I filled it about halfway full of rice and then the rest of the way with stuffing. Hope that helps some!
Veeery cute!!
Amei. Parabéns
Muito obrigado!
Congrats on passing your first 100 subscribers! I'm about to get there soon at some point :)

Thanks A Ton! Rachel
I will surely make some as "Give Away Gifts"!.
U R doing a GREAT JOB.
Thank U Once Again !.
What would be the sizing if i want to use two different fabric patterns?
Approximately how much rice did u put in?
I filled it with rice until it was about 1/2 - 3/4 full, this filled the rest with stuffing.
Thanks for sharing.. I'm and gonna stealing your 💡
Why rice? Can I do this without rice. Like just 100% stuffing? Thanks
Sure thing! I have a link to a rice alternative in the description!

Quais as medidas utilizadas ? Obrigada !
Eu medi em polegadas.
Hi.
And cm?
👍👍👏👏😘😘
Ok I made this 5-6 times and my mobile doesn't stand properly... It falls all the time hahahha... something I'm doing wrong.... 🤔
👏👍❤💋
💞👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
The music needs to go and you need to talk during the tutorial.
Put it on mute or turn down volume . ...Simple?
