Complex multiorgan transplant saves Nada’s life

Twenty-three-year-old Nada was suffering from an advanced stage of Cystic Fibrosis, the same disease that had taken three of her siblings. After doctors in her home country were unable to find a treatment for her condition, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s multidisciplinary team of experts was successful in saving her life after a 14-hour-long complex lung and liver transplantation procedure.
