- In this Pokemon Scarlet and Violet video my friend and I randomize our starter Pokemon, but we can only tell each other 2 truths and 1 lie. After we choose six Pokemon we will then battle each other!

I liked what Patterz and Dylan did where they randomized their starters from each generation and picked their team from that. Be interesting to see what you guys could come up with.
If you haven't done one yet (I have terrible memory so you may have), I'd love to see a video where you pick starters only knowing their category, like how Lugia is the "Diving Pokémon" but Arcanine is the "Legendary Pokémon"! I feel like some of the categories come out of nowhere and could make for some interesting choices!

List what crimes they could be charged for... Like bisharp for murder (blades), weavile for espionage (spy work), smeargle for graffiti (the tail), etc
To answer the question, there is multiple "Gates" to determine the winner: The most Obvious if you knock out all your opponents pokemon, failing that who ever has the most pokemon (You both had two) so it caused the third "Gate" whose pokemon are healthier, and that is how Vinny won

8:17 dottler ain't even in the game, and as for Hitmonchan, it evolves from tyrogue which can be found in the canyon biome just left of the central plaza

Comfey’s not a grass-type Pokemon, It’s solo fairy that’s why Ice Punch did so little damage 14:11
It baffles me why he would click it when the move didn't say "super effective" on it

That and Comfey is surprisingly bulky.
Not to mention the chance to use double shock in the terrain, would def b dirty to see. Nxt time maybe

DUDE that Scream Tail guess was a stroke of genius.
It took me until the DLC to realize it, but don't sleep on Comfey. It's garbage on HP, but if you can set that thing up, it has bulk for days and so many recover and support moves. It's fantastic for doubles.
It's really good in singles, too. It got banned from the Snogon tier that has pokémon like Hydreigon, Galarian Zapdos and Salamence.
That means that Smogon believes that Comfey is STRONGER than those pokémon.
Comfey's only problem before was that ut couldn't hit Steel types. With Tera and Tera Blast, you finally have the option to do so, and Comfey can sweep through a whole team with ease if you don't have an answer to it. SUPER scary pokémon.
Not if it gets poison or burned. It's still a trash pokemon
@@Darkside-bv2zh What are you on about? Being burned doesn't bother it at all, normal poison isn't great, but not really that bad for it. Even Paralysis isn't all that bad thanks to it's ability. Only badly poisoned really sucks. But since almost every Pokemon is susceptible to and hurt by status conditions, saying Comfey sucks because of that is just wrong, especially since most Pokemon are hurt even more by status conditions than it.
@@15KMH my Gengar with Hex begs to differ. Everything is out the window when it's randomized. Even a gear grinded Klinklang can demolish it.
@@Darkside-bv2zh Gengar with Hex will hit everything hard though, that's not a just a Comfey thing. I will say it does need it's ability to be good, so sure, with a random one it's not great anymore, but your argument that it's hurt by status and has specific counters/checks works for literally every single Pokemon.

I have an idea when you randomize the starters you and the opponent have to pick the shiny option.
I'd add to that:
- If you choose the shiny, it gets a random buff
- If you don't choose the shiny, it gets a random punishment

@@HennaK17 Well this is only a general idea as we usually see most of the same Pokémon in the battle challenges. I just figured if they have to pick a shiny the that might show more diversity in Pokémon we don’t usually get to see being used and then they can do whatever else they want.

Vinny won because the winner is determined by the amount of total HP left, not living Pokémon. And since Giratina was at full health....
i believe it only goes with hp if they have the same number of pokemon.
They each had two Pokémon left. You can see this at 19:03. Rich with two Pokémon after Kingdra faints and Vinny with a two as well after linoone faints
It's such on easy mod to fix the battle timer, why not do it when you already mod the game with starters?

Also, at the end of the battle, if there are still Pokémon on each team, winner is decided by whoever has the most HP total left between each team.

The reason Vinny won the match is because when the match is over the game looks at the two pokemon on the field. Since you both had the same amount of pokemon left it came down to health. Giratina never got hit in the battle and had full health. Even his Comfy had a high amount of health left.
