The negative display is rather interesting, I don't recall seeing one like that. I have an old Casio from the early 2000s that's a calculator watch. In fact, I wore it on my bachelor party, went into the city, and they sat me in the hot seat. Lisa Lampanelli was there, and made a fool out of me because of the calculator watch. I don't remember much as I was drowning in Jagermeister. Now I don't drink that kine any more. Amazing to see anyone wear a "regular" watch anymore, people just look at their hand where they've had their phone surgically attached.

battery lasts 2 to 3 years if you use the light and signal/alarm often. I never touch the light or sounds and my first g-shock just turned 6 years old and the display is not even fading
Sorry for the extremely late reply, i have tried it in store with about the same wrist size as yours. It fits well on the wrist, remember though, that G shocks aren't your typical small watch or it will look big, yet it will fit though. I've purchased mine after trying it in store.
