It's been a very reliable rig for us- have about 15,000 miles on it now. Had one issue with an EGR sensor early on that was taken care of under warranty, 2 recalls from MB that were taken care of. There was an awning recall, I took it back to the Lichtsinn RV dealership that I bought it from to have them do that and add a 3rd battery to the van. We absolutely love it, so easy to take anywhere, has everything we needed in a RV. Knock on wood we have not had any issues with the electrical or plumbing, but the rig is fairly simple to work on if there are issues, and there is an amazing FB group that can walk you through any issue. We would absolutely buy a Revel again, even with all the new sprinter based options out there I really feel like bang for the buck you can't beat the Revel. We need to do a 3 year review of it!

Awesome! 2017 Original 4x4 sprinter here 6 years with 80k miles on it and two trips to Alaska, still running strong, no single one issue here., @@MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED
I have not removed it- but it has a rubber like liner to protect what it mounts to. Really like this mount, got a second one for the passenger, handy for long drives.
I am able to use both cupholders no problem at all. I'm sure there are some massive mugs that might hit it but I have no issue with my Yeti cup and other decent sized cups.

just curious how well the revel has held up for you guys over the 3 years, something youd buy again if you had to do it over?

Does the mount scratch the smooth plastic that it mounts over?

I would think so, it fits my Samsung 23 ultra fine. The clamp opens to almost 3.75" wide..
