I’m from the UK and I’m Jamaican, my grandparents were born there. And this made me miss it so much. Haven’t been since I was a teenager in the late 00’s. So true about the food and weather, it hits differently because we’re just made for it. I remember finding how nourishing being there was for me. In every way. You made me want to go back. ❤

My mom would stop with me at pelican every time after we landed the food used to be really good so that sad if it’s gone down hill
