@KoshiJr He Doesn't deserve it. Part of making the hall of fame is achieving 15-20 years of service time with stats at the highest level(gradual drop offs are ok). Posey barely played a bit over a decade granted when he played he was at hof level. I expect 2200-2300 hits before I would ever consider Posey for the hall and I say that as a huge Posey Fan.

As a huge giants fan in 2022 it’s so sad to see one one of the best catchers in the league on my favorite team retire.
Everyone loves Posey. The Giants are now blessed with a worthy replacement in Patrick Baily. Same defensive traits...quick release, strong arm, accurate throws. He will be a star for a long time.

I used to go to the park just to see Buster. He was amazing.
Posey makes a good argument as the GOAT based on his three rings and the games he catched. The pitchers he caught in three World Series makes him most prolific. He had a sweet swing. He was a complete player. They’re gonna put a statue of him up in Oracle Park

Watching Buster Posey play as a catcher is thrilling. There’s been and are major league catchers, but few are exceptional. Posey is one of them.

This man is a definitive Giant. He should be regarded with the same respect we give to legends like Willie Mays.
It's a shame Posey played at the same time as Yadi for one reason, he never got the hardware for being an incredible defensive catcher. It's a blessing otherwise because they were both so great to watch, and Posey could at least prove how much better he was at hitting.

Defensively Yadi is better but all around Buster is head and shoulders above Yadi
